Great experience. Young man greeted me and showed my the washer. I waited in my car for the previous cycle to end and he waved at me when it was finished. Dryer worked great on my very large and thick comforter. As I was pulling it out a young lady offered to help me fold it (not sure if she was an employee). Spent $12 ($2 in soap). Our washer decided it was over worked and wanted a break. When I searched the internet for a laundromat, I saw Cleaning World I was right here in Huffman. I was so glad I didn't have to drive far. My husband and I gathered up our laundry and drove to Cleaning World. We decided to use the $5.00 a load washer because we always have a lot of laundry. They had smaller washers and washers that were one and two sizes bigger than the ones we used. The really large washers are all the way in the back and around the corner to the right. You'll see dryers all along the back wall, in front of you, as you head towards the back. Our laundry was done in less than an hour and our clothes were clean. We left to dry our laundry at home instead. The next time my husband wanted to try their drop off laundry service. Wow! This is going to sound funny but our clothes looked better than they did when we bought them new at the store! I had some old lazy around the house clothes mixed in and it just felt like a waste of cleaning for such grubby items that I won't go out in public wearing. Our clothes were clean, they smelled great, felt great, and were all folded nicely in a plastic see through bag with a laundry tag on it. The price was reasonable for the fantastic job done on our clothes. Next time i'll make sure none of my old grunge house clothes are mixed in. The third time I went there I thought I'd try the very large washing machine hidden around the corner in the back. I asked a girl who was folding items from the dryer if the large $10.00 washer would hold all my three laundry baskets of clothes and towels. She said it'd hold it all no problem. So I thanked her and started to fill the washer. I put two laundry baskets in and for some reason it didn't look like I could put any more. I asked the girl if she had a minute to sell me some tokens for the two large machines. She stopped what she was doing and helped me. The washers were done quick. I went to the post office and Walgreens while they were washing and when i got back both washers were done. I was unloading the washers when a guy said to me, "You under filled the machine. It can hold way more than you put in." I said really? It looked like it was too full to put any more in. I thanked him for letting me know and next time i'll put more laundry in. I carried a basket out to the car and he grabbed the others for me. I thanked him again. I think I've talked to four or five of the employees that work there and they've all been really nice, friendly, helpful and informative. I've never had any problems using their facility (other than under filling a washer and wasting their talent on grunge clothes) :D The laundromat is also clean every time I've gone there. So this morning, I have had a hectic time with the dryer going out while I was in the middle of doing laundry. Usually, the best thing to do is go online to find the best reviewed laundromat nearby. Instead there are dozens of these places with mostly one or two star reviews from a lot of disgruntled customers. Rather than agonizing over which is the best one to go to based off the reviews, I decided to throw caution to the wind and pick the most convenient one for me. (It is just one large load to throw in the dryer after all). I came down here a little after lunchtime and I was greeted by the owner. I asked him what the rates were for using the dryers. He told me that two dollars in quarters would get 48 minutes for one load in the dryer. Before anyone else expresses shock or outrage on this, the prices of the laundromats in North Carolina are by far much worse for washers and dryers. When my washing machine went out at my old place in Raleigh, I went to the closest laundromat about five minutes from the house. The going rates there were five dollars in quarters for each large load of laundry and another five for each load in the dryer. (That is outrageous). The owner wasn't bad as some of the other reviewers have stated. Rather, he was stressed out and overworked to the point of exhaustion. That guy really needs to slow down. He moves faster than the spin cycle of the washers. The reason I gave this two stars instead of one is because the wait time really wasn't that long and the dryer finished up a lot quicker than those 48 minutes. The down side for using this place is that there is no seating area just a couple of folding chairs to prop up against the wall while you wait. There are no vending machines in case you get the munchies. Finally, and this is the most depressing, no Wi-Fi and no TV anywhere. My laptop would have been a great way to pass the time so all I could make do with was a rolled-up copy of today's AK Dispatch News and the hypnotic movement of the clothes tumbling in the dryers. read more

My washer broke about 2 month ago so I had to go laundromat to wash my big family cloth. Since dondee was close from my house I use to go there but when ever I go place was pack with people and washer and dryer's are dirty and really old. Soap was all over the machine and floor was filthy. So I decided to find some other place and I found cleaning world on Huffman. Soon as I walked in I was greeted by employee and I looked around and place was really clean. And washer looked clean and new so I asked and told they replace all the washer to new about 6 month ago. Little bit weird because machine uses token but didn't bother me. I had about 4 large bag so I used 5 machine and cloth came out really clean. Guy at the counter (Roland) was really helpful and polite. I was very satisfy with service and quality of machine. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends. read more

Very nice Great place been doing laundry here for last 25 years

Worst place ever. It's not clean the machines are normally broken and the owner won't let you use the machines if he needs to use them for himself even if you have already paid for them. The machines are overly priced and it takes forever to wash and dry your close. They take your laundry out of the machines at their convenience. Do not waste your money there! Way too expensive! They charged me $50 to clean 2 pairs of Jeans and 2 simple dresses ( meaning no lace or sequins.) The employee could have cared less when I told him I will not be coming back. He claimed all the dry cleaners are expensive, but guess what?! I found 3 dry cleaners in the area for HALF the price! Their store is also run down and looks dirty. Feeling ripped off . read more

Been to this laundromat twice. Both times the young man was rude & overbearing, telling me what to do. Second time took my clothes and left!

Being stationed up here in Alaska i decided to go here for laundry. This place sucked, very small and cramped. The staff was awful. The website tells you they have the biggest machines I walked in and saw small washers and then I walked out what a waste of time at this place. DONT GO HERE read more
