Clear Behavioral Health offers a variety of treatments for Mental Health and Substance Abuse. I've had experience with their Detox/Residential and PHP/IOP program as a close family member of someone who is in recovery for alcohol and drug addictions. Their staff is friendly and thorough. Most of their staff is in recovery themselves and offer first hand experience in conjunction with formal training. A special acknowledgement should be made to their clinical team, they are highly qualified, credentialed and professional. They go above and beyond even for a person who is no longer a client. They genuinely care! If you are an adult seeking treatment, I highly recommend their programs. Or, if you are a parent/guardian/family member seeking treatment for your loved one, know that they are truly remarkable and hold themselves to a high standard. The Clear team is thorough and strict without sacrificing genuine care. One can honestly feel their love of their vocation. I also recommend Clarity Sober living (females) or NewLife (males) sober living for your particularly troubled young ones. If you feel all hope is lost, it is not at Clear. It's difficult for me to express how much I will be eternally grateful for this facility. Every single member of the staff was the epitome of what you would want guiding you towards your path to recovery. It's not simply a job for the staff at Clear. Each and every person employed there genuinely cares about the mental wellbeing and growth of each individual patient. If you would have told me that on my first day I would be sad to leave I would've laughed. I had no idea what kind of deep and meaningful relationships I would form with everyone there. After 21 days, I truly do consider them to be like family. If you're on the fence about whether you want to put yourself or a loved one into a treatment center please know that I whole heartedly think this is the best decision I made for myself in years, hell, probably in decades. April 2, 2021, I brought my daughter here. I've never seen her again! One year later, Just in February, The Business owner responded to me! The day he responded they had put 10 new Reviews five star,no pics, probably their employees. Did he not read my review! All he says is well look at all our good reviews we're very proud of, seriously!! ALSO THIS IS A NEW SITE THAT WAS CREATED THE SAME DAY HE RESPONDED TO ME IN FEBRUARY. I dropped off my 19 yr old daughter at Clear Recovery Center in Redondo Bch. for a 2 week stay on April 2, 2021. Days later my Ex husband told a young counselor there that I was the bad influence on her! I kept asking to speak with her, I needed to know she was ok. They said no contact for the 2 weeks. I demanded to speak with her! I only heard her drugged up voice, she was trying to tell me they want to send her somewhere, Alicia then took over the conversation. I found out they moved her to there halfway houses. And she'd be in touch with me soon. This continued as I searched, called, then was told by Bailey (the house Mgr) that it said in there computer system to not allow Mom any access or info. I pleaded with my Ex husband. He was pissed off at me because we had just been in court again regarding divorce. But the Clear Recovery Cntr. went along with his desires since he had the Insurance. I told them I was the Emergency Contact, the one that set it up. I filled out the paperwork and gave my credit card! I told them we were in n out of court. I wrote a Yelp comment to the business. My Ex husband knew I would go insane if something happened to one of our kids! She got access to a phone n called me and told me what they were doing to her! She believed she had to stay there. Made me promise to not let her Dad find out. That was sometime in July or Aug 2021? I never heard from her again! I've been in Hell. For that Clear Recovery Center you should have Facts n Proof before listening to one's gossip before making judgement that ruined somebody's life! I had an absolute amazing time at Clear. I was hesitant to go into treatment again, and once I got there I was so happy that I did. The detox and residential are both very nice and comfortable with great housing and staff. Yes, living there is comfortable, but what makes Clear so exceptional is the staff. I had no idea that rehab could be such a positive and transformative experience. I absolutely LOVED every minute of healing at Clear. The staff went above and beyond to support me and I felt protected and loved while in treatment. Every staff member willingly shared their knowledge about addiction, recovery and lasting sobriety. I learned so much during those 21 days. Each morning began with incredible live music which helps rewire the addictive brain. Specialists came in to provide body healing and our speakers were very intelligent. The houses were immaculate and I had a gorgeous master bedroom and bathroom. I loved having my roommate at the end of my stay! It was wonderful getting to know her. A very critical component to staying sober is having a solid aftercare program. Logan was my case manager and she did an impeccable job setting up my aftercare. She handled all the communication between my family and PHP program to avoid adding any stress to my stay. Everything worked out beautifully and I am happily sober today due to my caring team at Clear. The space itself is clean and well kept. More importantly the staff that works here genuinely cares for their clients and wants to see them succeed in their recovery. Daily life during my stay, kept me busy but not overwhelmed. When I needed time for myself, space was provided. Notably the food is also very good. My sister attended clear for detox and had a great experience. Going through detox is a very challenging and scary experience and the staff at clear made it as comfortable as possible. This was my first time going to a recovery program, it was far better than anything I expected. Sure, I was allotted five times less calls than I would've been allowed it in a penitentiary, but I also didn't have to pay for those calls extra on top of exorbitant price of the program. They really seem to be concerned about keeping the topic on sobriety, even if that meant sacrificing my health in general. Yes, there was good food, but they would not allow me to use the scale that they had to weigh myself, they accused me of having an eating disorder which at 220 pounds when I walked in is Ludacris. Gained about 15 pounds while I was there and couldn't fit into my suit I had bought recently prior to the program as I was best man to my friends wedding after the program. There was weights to lift, but no aerobic exercises or machines for it at the house. Would have been nice if there was an elliptical machine there or anything to lose calories on. 40 days later and I am still sober, but also a bit mentally scarred from not being allowed to speak with my fiancé who is a huge part of my support. Most of the staff was caring and supportive, but a couple bad apples had a bad attitude and didn't try to care(israel) or just had a power complex (dominique) and wanted things their way ignorant way which made me wanna leave more than anything. Be careful of the night staff, everyone besides Derek and Johnathan seem to get into some drama with the clients at night. The night staff are there to take care of the clients, not fall asleep on the job. Billy specifically was known to take peoples items if they were left out at night and either throw them away or take them home, he also picked a fight with one of the younger clients at night was very close to coming into an altercation with him, where he stated he didn't give a fuck about the job he was gonna, take care of this kid. I guess he was threatened by 5 foot 5 100 pound recovering patient. Logan was good, ryan deserves accommodation to become a case worker. There was most certainly a sense of sexism, where the women didn't really need to do anything they didn't wanna do whereas the men were treated like drug addicts if they were too tired to go to a program. Anyways, I would post pictures, but I wasn't allowed to use my cell phone so I don't have any. I guess I'm sober now and that's all they cared about anyway so... there you go read more

Clear saved my life! I had no idea what to expect as this was my very first time seeking help for my addiction. I was absolutely broken and felt so helpless when I entered detox. I thought there was no way out but I was wrong. The quality of care and treatment I received at Clear was something I can't even describe. Every single person in my 21 days time there played a huge important role in my recovery. I can't say it enough that the staff at Clear is top notch! The staff doesn't treat you just as a client but as family. They help you learn and grow in ways you never thought possible and continue to be of service well after you leave. They are always a phone call away when you need them and I can't thank k each and every one of them for helping me through the hardest and darkest days of my life. The clients I was roommates with are now family. We continue to connect sometimes daily and they will forever be a part of my life and my journey. The facility itself is amazing! Sometimes you could forget you were in rehab. The daily programming was a mix of group therapies, one-on-one and mixes with self care such as sound baths, breath work, yoga, boxing and art. I felt so cared for during my stay there I almost didn't want to leave at the end of my stay!! There is absolutely no way I could say I'm 2 months sober without having gone through the Clear program. I 100% would recommend this program to anyone looking to fight the demons of addiction!! read more

Clear is the best residential and detox treatment center with the most quality, kind and caring staff and group therapists, clinical directors, case managers, group leaders, amazing breath work and yoga teachers, art therapy, boxing, regular walks to Starbucks and trips to the beach and to the tea shop, a great chef, but most importantly, they care, they really care when it feels like home there and I love coming back for Alumni groups and walking in the door because I feel like I'm coming home again. I spent a month at Clear at the beginning of my recovery and it was amazing! The groups that we had were extremely helpful in understanding the Big Book as a newcomer and going to AA meetings as a group made the experience a lot easier. I had no idea what I was in store for when I checked myself into clear, all I knew is that I needed help and I needed it now. They were able to quickly find me a spot, get me checked in, and help me through my recovery immediately. I soon found out that everyone that works there in any capacity from your case manager to the gourmet chef, the psychiatrist to the yoga instructor, the nurses to the techs, EVERYONE has battled and has recovered from addiction. Best thing I did for myself and my mental health. When I walked in the doors I felt immediate relief because they understood me, my diagnoses and my specific needs. I felt safe and that allowed me to open up and begin this journey to good mental health. Every person that came in was so uniquely different, but the staff is just so well equipped to help every person that walks in that door. I went to this rehab, they are only a money grab. The only people who care are the nurse Brandon and the chef. I did better moving away than I did in their program. They falsely accused me of relapsing and tried to throw me onto the street at 10pm. Not a worthwhile place. All they will do is lie to get money. read more

When my daughter decided to change her life forever, Clear was where she decided to go... she was an adult and I was just happy she was finally ready to make the change from addiction, pain and mental suffering! When she arrived she was not well, they ensured that she was in a safe place that could adequately monitor her detox and when that process was completed welcomed her with open arms at the Redondo Beach facility. The staff kept her family informed almost daily of her progess of healing and mental well being, nothing but kind, concerned and supportive. I had my daughter at clear recovery for four weeks, and overall, I had a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive and was very conscientious of my daughters personal needs. For example, Logan was an exceptional case manager who shared her phone to do FaceTime while the family was out of the country. Staff was also superb, ensuring clients' needs were addressed by facilitating group meetings and outings to the beach and ice cream parlors. The house was very pleasant with a great ambiance. Visitations were allowed inside and outside in the backyard. The house also provided a private chef that cooked excellent and healthy foods.
