Got him to put up a fence for a rental before I relocated out of state. I told him the situation of my move and he said no problem and everything would be ok. I left the same day it was installed and was in and out of service. He started to demand payment and I had to split up payments over multiple days through Zelle because he (all of a sudden) charges a fee to use a credit card for the whole balance. He became very rude and accused me of not being able to afford his fence, lol. Seemed like a weird accusation...projection probably. In reality, I think he forgot about the circumstances of me being on the road for multiple days and he couldn't cover his payroll. As for the fence, he prides himself on installing himself, but had two other people come instead for the install. Also mentioned you can't take the fence out without two people, but my tenant just showed me a video of someone leaning on a pole and then pulling it right up... Edit, replying to his message: yes, it was installed in the morning, as I was packing the truck. If you were there, you would have seen the 26ft U-Haul that your guys had to park around. I left right after that was finished. Full on lie about Zelle that day, in fact, I was planning on paying your employee with credit card that day but he couldn't accept it. Only the day after you mentioned there was a service fee. Who's not being truthful here??? And I like how your sales pitch changes now, you made it seem like it's some non-movable fence, but anyone leaning on one of the curved sections can easily remove the fence. read more

Michael the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with. As we chatted on the phone about AZ during our first phone call (I was in CA at the time), he was able to give me a rough estimate over the phone, based on the satellite image of the house, which was great. On the quest to find a pool fence provider, I looked into the top places on YELP and back checked with BBBaz. Come to find out, alot the top companies listed on yelp were either "too busy" to return my multiple requests or were straight up condescending (Ex: you should be lucky I even return your call peasant). His price was well under my budget and way below the competitors. Did I mention we hit it off right away? He loves to talk and is extremely knowledgable about every topic. He was bar none, the most fascinating individual i've ever done business with on yelp (IN A GOOD WAY). I could easily see myself talking with this guy over a cold beer at some pub in South Africa.
