ACE Ironworks = PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEBLE, GREAT PRICE, QUALITY WORK WITH EYE FOR DETAIL !!! Gate was attached to wall but they missed the 2x4 so after a year of course the henges just popped out of the wall and made gate unusable. I had several companies not even willing to come out . Ace Iron works came out two times to look at the project and came up with a plan to fix it. Quoted a very reasonable price too! Our back fence was broken in a few spots and the posts were corroded and unsalvageable. I called 7+ businesses and for some reason, I wouldn't get a response or they couldn't help me. Recently had ten wooden gate slats replaced with composite wood. Price seemed reasonable--add 3.5% if you use a credit card--response time was fine. Installation appears to have been done adequately. FYI 1: If you are unfamiliar with composite wood as I was--which Ashley also knew since she explained the product to me--know that only the exterior side (facing the street) has the hard surface applied while the interior side (facing the backyard) does not, and appears unfinished. It never occurred to me the sides would be different (nor was this mentioned), and I was unable to tell from the sample photo sent. Posting this here as an FYI in case someone expects the gate will look the same on both sides. This is slightly disappointing, and has me wondering if both sides will hold up equally well over time. FYI 2: I missed the "10% off if you mention yelp" at the bottom of the page on Yelp (my mistake). After payment I asked Ashley about this. She said "If you mention yelp when going out we do apply 10% off". I asked if "going out" meant when the installer goes out to the house--I wasn't going to be home--and she replied "Yes we usually give it when people mention the 10% discount." We initially established contact via Yelp but apparently that is not the same as "checking in" at the bottom of the page. Just another FYI so any future Yelp customer won't miss out. read more

Asked them to install a fence with a gate in a 10' opening. Estimator can out and work was scheduled. Crew came out and due to a little miscommunication the work took slightly longer then expected. Yes, partially my fault. Since the installation I have been trying to get someone from the company to come back and install the cap that keeps the tubing closed so it would not fill up with water when it rains. After over 3 weeks they do not respond or have come back to complete it. While the fence is secure and works as intended the customer service is severely lacking read more

Edgar and his crew came out last week to extend our fence. They did a phenomenal job! They tore down most of the concrete wall and installed a section of fence that matched our existing fence exactly. They painted the old fence and the new fence, you would never know that the fence was extended. The poor guys did most of the work when it was 110 - 112 degrees, so I give them a lot of credit for that as well. They very nice to work with, did everything they said they would, and the quality of their work was A+! I communicated mostly with Ashely, who was very courteous and helpful. Just as I posted this review, I noticed Ashely had sent me a message asking if everything went well with the fence. How many companies follow up after they have completed a job, not many.
