My old side gate needed to be refurbished badly. I found Gates by Geoff on yelp. I love the way my gate looks now. He only takes cash or Zelle which was fine with me. One small thing is his partner didn't clean the sawdust so I got my garage broom and swept away the dust to the rocks. I do like the darker color slates that I chose because it looks much better but he has several colors to choose from if you don't like the darker slates. I'd recommend his work as the gate was literally falling apart and now it's fresh and feels much safer to use and i'm sure it will last a long time. He's booking about a week out and took about an hour and half to complete. Overall nice work and good value.

I can't say enough good things about Geoff and the rest of his crew. Everyone is very personable and super easy to get along with. Even our pups loved to greet them when they were working on our house. We purchased a home that had very old wooden gates which were falling apart. Wood was chipping and bolts were coming loose. Geoff gave us a great estimate with no pressure to purchase. After ordering our gates, unfortunately there were a couple of hiccups with the sizes, but Geoff was immediately on it and handled the situation. A couple of days later, he returned with his crew and finished the job. He made our home a priority and was very professional throughout the whole ordeal. Couldn't be happier with the result!

Geoff came out and did an estimate to put two gates for our custom patio that was built by the previous owners. He had great design ideas and gave suggestions to make the gate functional, stable, and blend in with the existing patio and house. Unfortunately, we could not go forward with the design because of the HOA rules and the structure of our existing patio (not related to the gate(, but I appreciated his effort, nonetheless. Geoff helped me with my gate where the latch post had rusted in half. He removed the other post and attached the gate to the cinder block wall and added a new latch post attached to the house. It all got started with a "honey do" list. I refurbished my gate, did a few friends and then posted the results on social media and BOOM.... I'm a business owner. I am currently a stay at home dad and college student pursuing my passion for teaching as an elementary education major. I have teamed up with my Brother in Law, my son's and their friends, to help work this business. I have very high standards in everything I do, and bring those same standards to your projects. I hope to one day give the reigns over to my son's and they can keep it in the family, while I'm educating and making a difference for our youth here in Arizona

The gates were done right, which gave a boost to my ego as my neighbors asked about my beautiful "new" gates. :) For those who are more technical or want more detail...here it is. The original wood slats of my gates were installed by the builder. Unless you have a custom home, chances are, those original wood slats are just not meant to last. I started a bid to either replace the gates or just change out the wood slat (to composite wood). Most of the vendors rather just change out the whole gate with preinstalled composite wood slats and do not bother with swapping the wood slats. In many cases, it is necessary to change out the entire gate. Ryan, however, is the only vendor who offered me with both choices - rehab the gate or change it out. Yes, he can do both. I am cheap so I went with the most economical method - rehab. After he is done, the gates look like new, and function like new. In fact, my landscaper thought I got a brand double gate, he couldn't tell this was a refreshment because in addition to the new composite wood slat (which will last a long time) the bolts & nuts are new, and the coating is new. We got one minor problem a month later - The composite wood slats, just like many other materials out there, contrasted and started to curve out (some worse than the others). Ryan came back out and adjusted it, no problem at all. This tells me he can be trusted and he stands behind his work even for a small job like mine. I would recommend Ryan to anyone who wants quality gate work done at a fair price.

They had two fencing companies who I lined up to do estimates and then I also picked two off of Yelp. Aldo Fabrication was not one of the PORA recommendations and was the lowest bid by far... and I initially had concerns thinking if I went with them, I might suffer from the old adage "you get what you pay for". That's not to say it wasn't expensive, because it was, but the other three were quite a bit higher. My contact was Jessica. I had two ideas for how to place the fence in my backyard. She completely understood my vision and measured accurately for each idea. She let me know that they would be super careful about utilities and have a locator come out to make sure we were safe. I was also concerned about my sprinkler lines because I do not have a plat showing where any they are. She assured me they would use care when placing posts. Jessica and every who worked on my fence at Aldo Fabrication did everything as promised in a very timely manner. The fence is beautiful and sturdy and they obviously did not cut any corners at all. Both gates swing open easily and latch securely. After the fence was installed, all weld marks and caps were painted and scratches were touched up. There is just nowhere that could've been improved upon. I'm literally blown away how the other three companies I requested estimates from are charging one and a half times what Aldo Fabrication charged to build this fence. Aldo request requested half of the cost of the fence upfront and the other half at completion and upon my complete satisfaction. They also offered a discount for cash. Finally, my neighbors remarked how the fence builders were as quiet and unobtrusive as possible. I found them to be very friendly and polite. The fence is EXACTLY what I wanted at a very fair price... and not a single elusive sprinkler line was hit! Thank you Jessica and Aldo Fabrication!

Six months later we still didn't receive our system. Called and emailed for status many times, no voicemails were ever returned, and emails just stated order is "in process". Upon finally reaching a live person, we were hung up on when trying to get order status! Requested a refund and was told our order is on their dock ready to be shipped, which we did not believe after our overall experience with them to date. There was no apology for the delay, and they committed to providing a refund within 30 days. After 45 days we were told "the check is in the mail", and we have yet to receive our refund. Absolutely do not recommend this company, we can only imagine what it would be like to try and work with them on potential warranty needed work. Complete lack of customer service and demonstrate unethical business practices.

There was a person name William(could be incorrect) reach out to discuss the lighting options further. I sent an image of my arena and was given a suggested lighting option. After a lengthy discussion Ranch Hand representative let me know I should receive images of the suggested lighting and images of a few less lights. Approximately 2 weeks went by and I reached back out to William and left a voice message with zero response. I called the company and was informed that they would have someone get in contact. Unfortunately this has never happened. It is unfortunate because I was truly looking forward to trying out the lighting system and hopefully being able to share with the community the benefit of solar vs hard wire (if the performed as stated and expected) This will now never happen as I have lost faith in the company and its representative. People may say that our economy is not well... as for Ranch Hand I'd say it must be doing very well to turn down a potential customer and any recommendations to future customers.

My RV gate was in bad shape. The wood slats were weathered, ironwork was rusty and coming loose from the block wall. Called and got an instant appointment. They came when promised and began work which was completed in about two hours. The work included repainting the ironwork, installing new composite wood slats, replaced the attaching hardware, adjusted the gate and spring tension. After checking out a few of the local gate installation people I chose Gates by Geoff. His company's overall quality presentation and professionalism is what sold me. It was a simple side gate replacement of a 30 year old unit that was pretty beat up. Geoff's team built and installed the new gate in under a week.
