I was quoted high price by other companies and gave up the option of installing the gate until he came and the quality of work is commendable. From initial concept to completed project, JM Custom Iron Work, Jaun Morales and his crew, exceeded my expectations. I'm a demanding customer who knows what I want, and I never received any hesitancy from Jaun to bring to life my vision. JM Custom Iron Work was the only gate manufacturer that said they could provide the cast-iron ornamentation (standard 5-pointed stars) I wanted, or they would MAKE them if they weren't available. Jaun and his staff were flexible when the gates needed modification due to my requested changes and delivered the gates when promised, not a day later! Without a doubt - high quality materials and workmanship! Fit-and-finish is perfect, alignment is perfect. Welding was solid, dense, clean and slag-free. We chose not to paint the metal so it would allow the surface to naturally rust... and then coat it with a protective low-sheen finish. A great company to work with, focused on aesthetic AND function. Business-like approach to the project, communicative and responsive. Pricing was reasonable, above the 'middle' as compared to other firms bidding the project, but the attention to detail, professionality, communication, can-do spirit and final results for both gates, was well worth the above average price. You will not be disappointed!

I can't say enough about this business. The owner was honest, attentive to what I was looking for, honest about his timeline, and great with communication throughout the process. The price he quoted me was also very competitive with other companies. I was pleased with this company before the RV gate was even delivered and installed. I was even happier when the gate arrived! Beyond Impressed!! Before You Read My Review: I am a client who has high expectations. I rarely write someone a review unless they deserve it. But when I hire a company/person that knocks my socks off and goes above and beyond, I make sure to write them reviews everywhere because they are worthy of it. LOW cost and extremely high custom screen doors. We hired Juan (Juan Custom Iron Works) to custom build 3 security screen doors for our home in Gilbert. Before I called JM Custom Iron Work, I had 2 other well known companies come out and give us quotes to custom build and install 3 security screen doors. These other companies were expensive. I originally had reservations about hiring a company that is not licenses/bonded. So before I gave them my 50% down payment, I did extensive online research. They have their LLC through the AZ Sectary of State, they have numerous online reviews from other very happy customers, and I was able to drive over to their shop and see their set up. My Experience With Juan: When I called Juan, he immediately responded to my text message. I sent him the pictures of the doors on our home and then sent him pictures of the types of custom screen doors we wanted. Juan is super fast to respond to text messages and phone calls. I love that! I love working with a business that understands that customers want answers and they wants answers NOW. Juan is professional, patient, a super nice dude, and takes his time to understand his customers wants and needs. Price: JM Custom Iron Work was the lowest costing. I had received several other quotes from other companies in the valley but all of them were beyond expensive. Juan came out the same day, measured our doors, and got me a quote within 24 hours. JM Custom Iron Works beat the other companies cost, hands down. Quality: Wow! They just installed our 3 custom security doors today and the doors are incredible. Juan and his team at JM Custom Iron Works did an amazing job fabricating and installing our RV and Pedestrian gates! They are gorgeous. Everything that Juan said he would do, he did. He came out to our house multiple times... consulting with us, measuring, validating our support posts, etc. He sent us several gate style and powder coating color options so that we could have several to review with our HOA. He never once pressured us (unlike others who came out.) The bottom line is that his work was impeccable, his installation was precise, and his price was very reasonable, and actually half of the quote from one competitor.

If you're looking for new security doors, you will be highly-satisfied working with Juan to build and install your dream doors. We hired Juan to make 2 custom security doors for us to replace ones that were over 20 years old. He patiently worked with us to document all the specification needs we had for each door; one door leads to our backyard with a pool which required having the handle higher than usual and installing a pneumatic closer. When he followed-up with a price on the doors we were shocked (in the best way possible) - his pricing for custom doors and installation was thousands of dollars less than competitors offering custom or pre-designed security doors. During the installation, Juan and his brother made sure to adjust for the uneven openings & sagging door sills on our home so everything is water-tight and secure. The doors are now installed and absolutely gorgeous!

I had them build a customized spiral staircase and Santa Fe style window bars. They do quality work, on time and on budget and they communicate with you each step of the way. Nice to find these days. What a great team! The Morales brothers were such a good find! Our custom spiral staircase was fabricated to our exact specifications, on time (with a minor schedule delay due to crane availability), and very quickly, and professionally installed. And something I didn't expect, it's actually BEAUTIFUL!! Rather than being an eye sore and perfunctory as I expected, it became an accent piece to our beautiful backyard. I contracted JM Custom Ironworks to make me five custom fitted gates for my home and yard. I was confident in using this company because Juan exhibited vast knowledge of his craft and showed great pride in his work. On installation day the crew showed up and quietly and efficiently went about their work. Each employee knew their assignment and conducted themselves in a professional manner. I had two double-door arched gates installed plus three six foot high single gates. Each gate was well constructed with heavy gauge steel used throughout. I believe I am a picky consumer, these guys wowed me! I now have security and beautiful gates that will last me for the rest of my life. read more

Prompt, high-quality service! We had our aging side gate replaced. Juan found time to stop by, discuss our options, and take measurements earlier than anticipated. The finished product is immaculate - best gate on the block by a mile. What I liked most was the fine-tuned frame he added, so that the pressure of closing is distributed across the entire frame instead of all on the latch. That frame also offers excellent privacy. read more

I was in the market for security doors for a couple years. Never could get comfortable with cheap Home Depot/Lowe's stock doors, or the upgraded doors sold through vendors around the valley. So happy I found JM. They make custom doors. Family owned. Juan was punctual, detailed, and he worked with our budget. Timing was a lot shorter than other door company's too. Just a few weeks. I looked at hundreds of doors online and came up with a design for three door areas. I love the doors. Everyone that has seen them comments on the uniqueness and quality. Really happy. I had two metal awnings made and installed by JM Custom Iron Works to go over sliding glass patio doors. The awnings needed to match existing ones that were in place over our windows. Now this might sound high to some but this was a complex design with 5 different metal stock types and lots of precise right angles and joints. (See picture.) Now it is our turn to add the padded seats and rustic wooden drawers.

It took me weeks to find a company that was able to build me the kind of gate I wanted for my driveway. After contacting several companies, they either did not do the type of work I needed or they would make a promise to come out and give me an estimate but never show up. I was going through Yelp one day and thought I would take a chance that there was someone out there who could help me. I saw the name JM Custom Iron Work and made the call. Within days I had someone come out to my home take measurements and told me that they would be able to do the job. I was given a time frame of five (5) weeks to have it designed put together and installed on my property. True to his word within five weeks my driveway gate was ready to be installed. I can tell you this is a company you can depend on. They do quality work and they are on time. I am simply over the MOON with my new driveway gate. I now feel that my property is more secure and I am so excited to tell the whole world of what a fantastic find I found in JM Custom Iron Work. I would give more than 5 stars if I could! We recently had our stair railings replaced by Juan and it came out great, even better than expected. Juan does a really thorough process of designing the rail, always included our input, and was very receptive when we were indecisive and made changes in the design. The installation process was smooth and went as planned. We were updating for a more modern/contemporary look for the lower rail. The handrail going up the other side is one continuous piece even around the corners and is so sleek. We love it! It's very sturdy and nice to grasp when you are going up and down. Juan of JM and his artistic family took my ideas and hand forged our gates from solid steel, and powder coated them to a beautiful finish. Most companies will only paint the doors as powder coating is a costly process. Juan was precise with his measurements and expedited the double and single gates with open speakeasy and hand forged Clavos. We also had JM build a side gate and they will be working on decorative wall accents for us. We Have people stopping by all the time asking who built our gates.
