My dad seemed to enjoy his short time there (he was a rehab patient, not a resident) as much as a 90 yr old dementia patient would. The main problem my siblings and I have with the center is their laundry practices/system. From what I can tell, resident's clothes are washed on an almost daily basis (that's a good thing!), with any and everyone's clothes washed together (understandable). Clothes are marked with names and/or room numbers but there is an issue of clothes getting back to the correct rooms. Items of my dad's clothes went missing on an almost daily basis as well as him wearing someone else's clothes because they were put in his room in error. He's not much for clothing details at this point. We were always on the hunt for who might have his "favorite" shirt on today. In the end, at discharge, I think we left with everything he started with. They do not check pants/shirt pockets and because of this my dad's fairly basic, new phone ended up getting washed and ruined and had to be replaced. Yes, he still has a phone as we like to talk to him whenever possible and he loves hearing from all of us. The center refused to reimburse the price of the new phone as, in part, with 60 residents, that's a lot of pockets to go through. If you only have one job (doing laundry), maybe a little more care/attention to detail should be taken. I'm sure in all the paperwork we signed at admission there's a disclaimer about entering at your own risk and them not being responsible for loss or damage to one's belongings and we'll definitely know better the next time we take him somewhere.

It is clean enough but he has been there for 3 days & they forgot to feed him dinner Friday night. They have let his pain get so out of control he is out of his head & today there was a spider in his lunch! The housekeepers & staff are nice enough & treat him kind at least. I don't know who runs this place but I'm filing a report with DORA & sending the health department to them. It is not ok to be so careless!!! My father is elderly with a broken sternum, 9 broken ribs, a broken pelvis & a surgically repaired ankle. Now is not the time to play games with pain medication or his food. I'm so mad right now I fear visiting. I arrived there after dark on Friday night & nobody was at the desk or paying attention to the door. I was let in by a patient & wandered around the halls looking for what room my dad was in. Nobody asked what me & my 3 kids were doing or if we needed help! I have the door code to get in now but not because anyone gave it to me. Not happy. ****UPDATE**** I was called by the CEO of Cambridge Care who seemed very concerned. The staff has been a great help in getting things back on track & making sure better care is being given to my dad & hopefully other residents as well. We will see how things continue to move along & I'm just simply grateful that my dad is being properly cared for which means more than anything to me. For now I will upgrade to 3 stars & continue to monitor his care & recovery. ****Last Update*** My dad has been sent home & tho we were off to a rocky start things ended on a great note! We grew very attached to the staff in the 5 weeks he was there & found that Cambridge is actually a pretty nice place to be! In all honesty we will miss the staff & probably stop in to say hi every now & again. Everyone really stepped up & proved that tho it is an older facility it is a great one with a really nice caring staff who really do put their patients first. Even when my stubborn, grumpy father didn't want to do the things he should be doing they all came together & gave him an extra push to get him up & going. A few people really stood out as amazing, unfortunately I don't know all their names but The CEO who cared enough to call & see what was going on & jumped to get things fixed! The guy from Africa who gave my dad his meds most of the time was incredible, always stopped to ask how my dad was & would sit next to him on the bed for a few minutes & have a quick talk with him, it made all the difference every single day, great man! I think her name is Michelle, a lady who did general basic care, she was also above & beyond. She felt like family instantly & we were always happy to see her! All the therapists but especially Heather, she & my dad had a lot of personality clashes because she expected him to get his butt in gear- I personally think she went above & beyond by proving to him he really could do what she asked. Without her he would still be laying on his backside! No matter how grouchy he was with her she still walked into his room with a smile ready to try again! The guy who worked night shift (Michael?) my dad was impressed with his professionalism & kindness. Last but not least- Leslie the social worker. She took care of EVERYTHING we needed from billing issues & family meetings to discharge & making sure he had enough meds to make it to his 1st outside appt with his Dr. She was just amazing, she really made a huge difference in dad's stay! We will forever appreciate all the great people at this facility! Thank you Cambridge!!!

This establishment was originally started as an orphanage in 1883 by the Sisters of Charity. They really do help children in need, a safe place for them before they're adopted or just need a home. Some of the youth live there full-time. They reach out to help because of neglect, abuse, emotional and behavioral challenges, mental illness and abuse. This incredible place is for foster care and treatment programs for children. They are always looking for volunteers for various things on their 16 acre campus. I WOULD recommend this facility if you have any free time to volunteer or considering donating. Go online and look at their wish list.

She is now looking to attend Florida State University and study meteorology. Thank you so much, MSV.

Ty created customized workouts (and continues to do so) that are tailored specifically to me and my goals. He starts out with a consultation to go over your BMI, macros, etc to ensure he knows how to make a customized plan thats right for you. I came to him with specific goals and he helped me reach them successfully and feel confident in my workouts and my form. Im tall, so "one stance doesn't fit all" and he taught me that which immensely improved my workouts and my low back and knee pain. Through COVID, Ty navigated the rules and regulations perfectly - helping me virtually stay on top of my fitness and also making sure my mental health through lockdown wasn't on the decline. Fitness is a health change and that touches all parts of health, which Ty recognizes and works with you on. When I've needed to take breaks or my hip flairs up - Ty helped to customize our workouts and work physical therapy into our session. I have recommended Ty to all my friends and peers, not only is he an incredible trainer but an all around incredible person who not only helped me with my fitness goals but also settling into a new state!

Ty did just that. Through his FST and by incorporating activating stretches at the start of each workout, I found that the areas that gave me the most issues or fears of re-injuring became stronger and stronger, to the point that they no longer dictated my workouts like they had in years past - these exercises are my go-to daily exercises that I do everyday outside of the gym! This success can be attributed to Ty's vast knowledge of the body. His programs are meticulously thought-out each week, focusing on different movements and the the goals of his clients. He offers a healthy variety of muscle building/bulking lifting blocks, as well as, muscle toning and fat burning lifting blocks that were perfect for giving the body a rest after a heavy lifting block. His equipment is top-of-the-line and as a whole, Ty's coaching and workout programs are very engaging and motivating which kept me accountable over the last 3 years, which is what I love most!
