Concerning Linda Pouzar: unprofessional, inconsiderate & disrespectful. Appointment was scheduled for 10AM. Linda did not enter the exam room until 11:44AM; no apology for her tardiness. When asked about the long wait, she blamed it on her patients for not scheduling appointments frequently enough. This particular office visit did not end until 12:45, which IMO, was Linda's method of payback for questioning the lengthy wait. read more

Very nice, clean clinic. It has the same downfalls as most doctors offices: waiting on the doctors/staff, one rude nurse(haven't seen her in a while), outdated magazines in the waiting room. I really like my PCP, Dr. Lingamfelter, and when I must see the other MD's or PA's, I feel comfortable with them too. read more

"Doctor Linda" Pouzar is a family practitioner providing outstanding care for people of all ages and at all stages of life. I drive 60 miles one way to see Dr. Linda and it is definitely worth the trip. I would have no other Primary Care Physician (PCP). She is also my wife's PCP, my parents' PCP, and my children's PCP. She is very experienced, exceptionally bight, and very thorough. She has a great bed-side manner and explains everything to me using language I can understand. She is caring, personal, and respectful. She gives me the time I need and I don't ever feel rushed. I would highly recommend her to anyone of any age. read more

I've been with Clear Lake Family Physicians since 2011. My current doctor is Dr. Linda Pouzar. She is very thorough and extremely sweet. Reminds me of a kindergarten teacher. She explains everything in layman's terms and makes the whole experience comfortable. Jose is always a great nurse. He handles my vitals and good at calling back with results. Everyone here is professional and courteous. The current location is really nice compared to the previous one off of El Camino. I recommend if you're looking for a PCP in the area. read more

I called and asked if I could get an STD blood test--something that should be offered for free by the medical community to anyone. I don't have a car. The front desk lady that I called got irritated when I asked for a price for the test--she said I would have to make an appointment and sit there for hours and wait to see a doctor--just to find out how much they're going to charge. I do not have medical insurance. I have to work. I don't make very much money. My impression of this clinic is "we don't give a f%$# about the patients." read more

My daughter originally saw Pa Sharla Proctor, she is wonderful! No complaints! However, the low reviews are regarding Pa Poser. She is non caring, non sentimental, and very poor knowledge regarding medical issues and treatment. I am Contemplating keeping this facility at this point. My daughter was sick with strep throat and all she wanted to do was discuss and complain to my sick child that she is roughly ten pounds over weight. Number one this effects the self esteem of a child struggling with her weight, we had already enrolled her in a summer program to help with better knowledge of portions and what to in take. Number two, my daughter was ill and instead of focusing of the issue at hand and pulling me aside to discuss weight issue it was all in front of my daughter. She is now not even wanting to eat at all, cried off and on. My child has struggled with asthma and working out, or being in heat too long, impairs her breathing. Also common medical knowledge tells you steroids will also cause weight gain! In which her inhaler contains! I am in the medical field myself and have NEVER seen nor had this experience in my life! Very unprofessional and horrible bed side manner. I recommend not seeing this pa!!! Especially for a child! Not to mention we waited over an hour to be seen!!! I've gone to this doctor pretty much my whole life. Always been a nice place to go to and feel comfortable about personal issues. However, the last few times I've gone I didn't know any of the staff and the doctors I usually see are not there anymore. The prices have gone up tremendously and it seems the quality of the staff has gone down. The last time I came here I was told to take several pregnancy tests that had nothing to do with why I was there. I knew I wasn't pregnant and I was there to get checked for kidney stones. It was very uncomfortable for me and I told them my answers in honesty and yet they wouldn't let it go. Almost following me out the door. This time around it was for my allergies and the lady who was my physician barely spoke English and the staff cursed during their personal conversations. My bill also came out ridiculously higher than usual. I will be finding a new place to go to and make sure the staff knows what they are doing... read more

I have been coming here since I was 10... 20 years... ever since they changed to the office the quality of their office staff and customer service has gone down... I love love all the Doctors and Nurse practitioners except for Doctor Vullore she has terrible bedside manner. The Lab Corp nurse is always rude, overworked and needs some helpbon the Hygiene side... The new Office manager Jose couldn't take my complaint because his computer wasn't working when I asked him to use a paper and pen and just hear me out he hung up on me... my appointment was at 9:45 it is now 10:38... They obviously have over booked their doctors... their office staff is terrible and I have been waiting here long enough to write the bad review... I am so sad to leave these doctor's but a change is needed... read more

This place is the worst. When I moved to Clear Lake I started with them for the basics. They are terrible about communication and prescriptions. Trying to get them to send in a prescription refill is like pulling teeth. The staff always seems discombobulated. The last and final encounter with them is when I saw their physician assistant, Hannah, in February. She was supposed to call in a referral for an injury I had. Over two months have gone by and I still have no referral. When I spoke to her, she did not remember when she saw me, incorrectly diagnosed me, and has an incomplete medical record. She also claims to have no recollection of my complaint. As a doctor I can say this, she is a perfect example of why physician assistants get little respect. We as a society should say, "Enough already with the playing doctor and playing with the health of individuals." If you want to practice medicine, go to school and earn a doctor's degree like the rest of us. read more

Of course I had plenty of questions since I was new and relocated out of state. She was very knowledgeable. They have a new patient for life! read more

I just came home after waiting for Dr. Linda Pouzar at Clear Lake Family Physicians after being told to arrive 30 minutes early for paperwork ahead of my very first appointment with her at 10:30 am. At 11:15 am I asked if my paperwork was out back yet and was told that Dr. Pouzar was still with her 9:00 am appointment with three other patients in back ahead of me! Why does she schedule this way and leave people in the waiting room to watch many come and go? In addition, I was fasting in case of bloodwork for my annual Medicare (!) physical! I partially blame myself for trusting this practice since getting them on the phone is virtually impossible without allowing the phone to ring nonstop for up to an hour. Regardless of a technology change being made effective for January 1, 2019, as I was later told, this change inconvenience was in addition to my finally having to cancel my 10:30 am appointment with the front desk and walking out today close to 11:30 am, January 24, 2019. The office manager should also be made aware of what an average patient is subjected to! Lastly, I made the appointment two months ahead of time and two employees asked me what my appointment was for between yesterday and today. It scares me that all my information was given to such a chaotic practice! I do not plan on rescheduling with Dr. Pouzar and don't feel that anyone really cares if I do. read more

Over the past two years, I have seen this office go way down hill. With both the bedside manner and office in general. I have been a nurse for 10 years and consider myself well prepared for my visits and have compassion for the practice and how busy they can be. The last three requests for my medications have been horrible experiences. I went by the rules and let my pharmacy send requests for refills a week ahead of time. All three times they were not filled. When I called the office to check on it, they would send me to a machine nurses line which takes 24-48 hrs to get back to me and then I'm told that they didn't receive any requests but that they have been "having computer problems for awhile", so I would resort to showing up at the office and waiting for someone to write my refill in person. Once I had to call after hours and bother the on-call physician to call in the prescription I had requested 9 days earlier. This year has been the worst of all. I was seen last in late May for a couple of medical issues I was having and to update some medical information I had received from a number of specialists I had seen. I took the earliest appointment because I was also having a bad upper respiratory infection. Adrian, the nurse practitioner walked into the room and asked me what brought me in. I told her I had a few things to address and her first reply...(verbatim) was, "Well, you only have a 15 minute appointment." My jaw dropped, being a registered nurse for 10 years, I couldn't believe she would talk to a patient that way. Absolutely incompassionate and unprofessional. I told her I just needed to address my cold and update some medical information for the office records, that I wouldn't take up more that 10 minutes of her time. Appalling visit. Today, I called the office to check on a refill request for a routine prescription that I had requested 8 days ago. Walgreens had sent 4 requests and even emailed me that they were continuing to send requests. The office stated that they had not received any requests. I asked to speak to the nurse, Vanessa who told me I needed to be seen again for the refill (as needed every 6 months). I told her I had just been seen less than 3 months ago and asked to speak with the office manager. I was actually in the car on the way to the office at this point. I arrived and met with Chris Harper, the office manager and explained that I just needed to pick up my routine RX and I had been sending requests for 8 days. He told me that they had not received any requests and I told him about the repeated attempts and showed the email Walgreens email. He stated that they had been having computer problems. He became very condescending and argumentative stating that I hadn't been seen in over a year for the medication. I made him look up all my past appts and showed that I had been seen in late May and February of this year. Then he said I didn't have a specific appointment for that medication and as a nurse, I should know that. I told him that as a nurse, I was well aware that you don't need specific appointments for medications as long as you have been assessed and medications have been reconciled about every 6 months per their policy. I had been seen and my routine medications had been addressed and reviewed at each appointment as required in any prudent practice (It's called medication reconciliation). He refused to get an MD to come speak with me, he just offered me another appointment, but that he was full today and most of the week. I told him I would be moving my business elsewhere, to which he replied, "Well if we cannot accommodate you, we may not be the right place for you." SO LONG GUYS. I hope they don't do this to the elderly pts on critical cardiac medications. read more

While at my PCP I was referred to Dr Williams office at 1045 Gemini since I needed a 360 report; my PCP people were kind enough to call and get me a 9:30 AM appointment with Dr. Williams. I drove over to Dr. Williams office to familiarize me with the location, confirm my appointment and see if they needed additional paperwork. While there the office people told me that the paperwork was in the system and they would see me at 9:30 the next morning. About the time I got home, I got a call from them stating I needed to make the appointment with Dr. Williams and they were booked till May! WHAT?? I explained that I was just at their office conforming my 9:30. They told me that it was cancelled! WHAT?? I have never seen such competent mismanaged buffoons. Go anywhere else but this place!! Phone time wait horrible here! And docs don't care as I told them about it twice. I sat " in position 1" for 12 mins. Once @ 11am I sat in position 2 it said, for 30 mins, hung up, tried again sat 20 mins. in same position, hung up, tried again at 2:30 same issue, happened many days. Seriously nobody should sit without being acknowledged for that long but never sit that long period. Not impressed with front desk staff at all. They barely speak the minimum, no nice hello & no smiles. Met many hasty rude nurses there which makes the visit or the care after visit almost impossible. The doctors are hit and miss, maybe the key is to see only owners? Didn't care for PA Proctor because she said refills are no problem from this point, just call and let them know you're ready and I'll approve. Two mos. later I did just that and nope they said I had to come in again even though I wasn't ill and had only run out of med. I had some disgruntled docs and 1 completely over-zealous Sadiki or something who insisted my guy needed to come back every 3 mos. tho he didn't even change meds and had always come once a year with other docs. Feel an average normal patient on no "regulated meds" guess called, and no issues, should ONLY HAVE TO COME ONCE A YEAR IF NOT ILL. I do like the waiting room and that there is a lab inside area. But due to their style and things just never changed for better, we moved on and found someone who really really cares about us now as patients! read more

I have been going to this facility since John Lane was there before he left for New Zealand. I have since been seeing Dr. Sam Lingamfelter who I was just informed this past week will no longer be with the practice as of Jan 1st 2015. Like others, getting my refills taken care of is a hit and miss ordeal. I love the convince of the location in comparison to my house, but it is time to move on. read more

I love Dr. Habashy. He is the greatest! I refer all of my friends and family to him and they love him also. His nurse if so nice! I have never had to wait at this clinic more than 10 minutes. I listed Dr Pouzar as my primary physician at this clinic. I had her as my primary physician for a year, and I haven't seen her once. When I called, the receptionist always scheduled appointment with the PA as the doctor is booked. The only time that I had seen a physician there was the last time I went. I met Dr Sadiki, and she was the most unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. I was complaining about a pain and rush on my finger. She doesn't prescribe anything to relief the symptoms , she didn't even see my finger. I told her too that I have pain in my ear, and she didn't checked it assuming that it is a sinus problem. She told me that she is going to send a prescription to my pharmacy. I went to pick up the medicine, and my pharmacist told me that no one called for prescription. So I had to call the clinic, and they said that the doctor asked me to take an over the counter stuff which I don't remember her telling me or even discussion this with me. read more

My previous PA, Shalla Proctor, is unfortunately no longer working for Clear Lake Physicians. She was friendly, helpful, and amazing. I had to see a PA there this time an I was appalled. She was unprofessional, unknowledgable, rude, lacked personality, and refused to listen to what I had to say. She told me that there was a reason that my previous doctor was no longer there which in itself was extremely unbecoming. She also stated that the medicine she was giving me was "inappropriate." I was appalled. Not only was she not willing to listen nor show an ounce of empathy, she reduced my dosage without any explanations or asking me in depth the regime in which I used the medicine . She then proceeded to tell me again how "inappropriate" it was that I was allowed to take UP to 3 mg a day of a certain medicine when needed. I think she used he word "inappropriate" six times and it was in front of my three children making it seem as though I was doing something terribly wrong. Obviously, has never experienced the type of issues that I have encounter daily which I need this medication for or she would have listened and known that the need was, in fact, very needed. There was no reason to be as unprofessional, rude and as short that day as she was in that office. I wouldn't recommend her to ANYONE...and it's sad because we grew up in the same area and I am, like her, also a former Aggie. I am embarrassed for her and the Clear Lake Family Physicians for hiring her. This has confirmed that I will never attend the practice again, although my previous experiences have been wonderful. I would never ever recommend Hannah Wagget to anyone. When making a new appointment make sure you refrain from requesting her for anything. read more

Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new doctor for me and my three daughters. I've been going to CLFP for a number of years but recently had to return to see the Nurse Practitioner to get the results of my daughter's blood work. First, I was charged an office visit for what was a follow up visit to review the blood work. Then we were told there wasn't anything significant on her blood work (which could have been told to me over the phone and mailed home like her twin's blood work was done). And the final and absolute last straw was when I asked a general question about whether the DepoProvera (birth control) shot was still in existence and whether it was still prescribed. The response I received was that she could not talk to me about that because it was against her religious beliefs as she was a practicing Catholic and believed in abstinence. I asked only if it still existed and if it was still prescribed. I was only enquiring not asking for a prescription as my daughter has been taking birth control pills and we were curious about other methods of birth control. The NP stated she recommends abstinence as it is recommended by her religion and stated again that she could not discuss with us any forms of birth control. The birth control my daughter was currently taking was prescribed by this office and I was concerned about some of the side effects and she couldn't answer my questions? I am still reeling from this visit and don't have words for how stunned I was. We will be moving on and not returning. read more
