Kelsey Care is terrible. I've repeatedly had cancelations of appointments. Four appointments by three clinicians. With my prior insurance, I had a private doctor who never canceled in over 11 years. There were times I had to see his PA or NP, but never total cancelations of days and times of appointments exclusive of a natural disaster. Not only is this disruptive to the patient's schedule, but depending on the provider type and appointment, I may have to wait weeks to reschedule or make a painful drive to another location. One cancelation is an inconvenience. Four times is incompetence. read more

I was with the Kelsey-Seybold family for a short while, but as I was, I met a very nice and kind doctor. She could have been a frequent PCP, but too bad she was a floater. She was like an angel and I've never just had good doctors before. She listened to my needs and did not brush me off. She was understanding and non-judgmental. She wasn't nonchalant either. I mean dang, I wasn't expecting that. She was transparent with me and even told me things that were hard to discuss. Of course, she prescribed me some medicine, but gave me the option to take them or not. The clinical area was clean and clutter-free. The lobby was spacious with plenty of seating. There wasn't any staff waiting upstairs and would had to check in at in downstairs. The wheelchairs were near the front door which of course at the time, I needed one since I couldn't walk. Had an earache and seen Dr. Son Hoang. I was told nothing was wrong as far as a dirty ear and told to see an ENT doctor. Scheduled a visit with an ENT doctor and before I could walk in the room to see doctor I was being asked to sign a paper that stated I would pay for all additional tests in case my insurance did not cover. There was a total of $1,900 on the paperwork and said I would not sign. I was told by the nurse of Dr. Fernando Gomez-Rivera that my appointment was canceled and I was free to go. Luckily I was able to get my copay back but regardless these people are more about money and don't care about the patient. Went to ENT in Friendswood had my ears cleaned for $50 and felt fine after. read more

I've held back writing this; I've been coming here for two years so I feel I can truly speak on ALOT here. 1- I love how easy things are set up here; testing down stairs, everything in one building. A breeze! However, YOU have to be proactive and make all your appts; they will not go out of there way regardless of the matter to get you in (which you would think is better benefit to them) Also the ATTITUDE!!!!!! Zero care or compassion from the people at the front to the nurses. There's been maybe 2 front people in the two years that actually smile and want to help you. The rest treat you like caddle and will raise their voice to prove they are always in the right and you, the patient is always wrong. The doctors are iffy; but it's all a prescribe relationship only if you know what I mean. ALLL other things are dismissed. Maybe you don't care about that kind of thing but for someone who wants to hear allllll options; just know your gunna get one side here. If you need to see the eye dr- be prepared to not get an appt until MONTHS out. Sooo despite the ease of this facility, and the idea of it all being in one place being a dream. This place is a nightmare and I will not be returning and neither will none of my family! read more

Avoid Dr. Shah GP "per diem". First of all, no one told me this is a per diem doctor. What did he do? Berate me for not having a GP already rather than actually help me. When I told him I'm desperate for help, as I'm an Autoimmune Disease patien unable to see my specialist for months, he refused to provide me with the COMMON meds I would need to combat my symptoms. A method that was in my chart, that he did not read, and talked to me like I was stupid for even bothering him. Trash human. Avoid him. He doesn't give one care about anyone. I left and went to an urgent care where I actually got help as well as called my specialist to relay my experience. If you're looking for a caring doctor he is not the one. Try someone else. Updating to add - I recently decided to try KSCL for my children's pediatrician and the billing department again has gone above and beyond my typical experience with a dr. Diane was so patient on an over an hour long call trying to figure out why one of my children and not the other would process through insurance. She did everything she could to try any direction to assist. It's employees like that, that make you keep coming back to a business. Thank you Diane! read more

For years I have enjoyed going to this clinic. Lately however, I guess they need to build or expand 20 campuses in the Houston area using the pocketbooks of their patients. I won't be going there again! My regular doc was out of town. I called in to see him because I had my usual, once or twice a year, sinus infection. They said he was not in but they just had a cancellation with one of their ENT's and I could come in right away. "Excellent!", I thought. I went right over. Saw this doc. He looked at my ears, throat, and nose. "Yup, I think you're right" he told me. He then reached for a tiny camera device on his cart and said, "I'm just gonna take a closer look down there with this camera. It'll feel like a Covid test swab in your nose." He used this device for maybe 5 seconds in each nostril. My exam was over in less that 10 minutes. Got 2 prescriptions and off I went. Then came the bill for just over $1200. Holy crap! Between me and insurance we have paid Kelsey-Seybold almost $600 for a 10 minute visit. The nose scope thing was $1054 on my itemized bill. Did he warn me of this cost? Hell no! I have been arguing with them for months saying $600 is fair and equitable but Kelsey-Seybold wants all their money. I'm finished with them. Never again! Stay away from their nice new shiny buildings. They gotta pay for em with your money. read more

I've never had a bad experience at Kelsey. I've been seeing doctors at this and the Pearland location for 5+ years. The waiting rooms and exam rooms are always clean and professional. The reception staff is welcoming and helpful. Their blood lab is always quick to take you in and get you out as painless (pun intended) as possible! I'm NOT a fan of needles and getting blood work done but the technicians here are really great :) read more

Finally made it here for a routine Physical Exam, Have to changed to a new/ young Doctor to be accommodated earlier than October, the place was new, access at 45 feeder road still under construction no access yet but it is almost complete, have to go around back of the facility. Staff were real friendly, and you do not have to fill up a long 3 to 5 pages of your info for first time patient, it's computerized loved it, I saw the young Doctor Anthony Holbert. In time I think Anthony will be a good one. Cost of Physical Exam was real high $1000 plus , no wonder our Insurance Premiums goes up every year, but what can you do, aside from sharing this info, hopefully our Insurance company and the Government will step up and control the cost. I've been a patient of Kelsey, for going on 10 years now. I am disabled and have a rare autoimmune disease, so I see a lot of Dr's and I take all ki ds of test. I like the fact that all my healthcare needs are under one roof and I don't have to be taking all my records and medications with me to the all the different specialist I see. But today, the lady at the front desk was just plain rude. I am no charity case and right of the bat she started out acting as if. I do everything on the MyKelsey App. I check in and pay there as well. Today I had 2 appointments and I paid for both. Well this young lady 1st of all said I didn't. So, I pull up the app and I had to show her. ​I was getting botox injections in my back and she tells then that I hadn't paid. I said I just showed you. She proceeds to say that it's paid for after the appointment. So, in my mind I said well if it is, then why are you saying I didn't. Anyhow we go to my appointment and and come back to check in for the next appointment, with a different lady. And she buts in and asked if I had paid or if they had given me a paper to bring to check out. I said no...and I go on in to my next appointment. They told me they really did not need to see me and they brought me up front for a refund. And that's when the rude girl, says I owe. I told her, well I will have to take care of it later because I do not have the money today. And she keeps pressing me for money and says well how much do you want to put to it today! Took my grandson in today on a semi emergency visit with Dr. Karen Torres Wittenburg (pediatrics). I was impressed with the staff at check in with their friendly concerned attitude and how quickly we got in to see the doctor. The admitting nurse was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr Wittenburg was awesome. She relaxed us immediately. Took great care in her questions and exam of Noah and took her time answering all our questions. Very negative first experience here. Front desk lady on 2nd floor was really rude, had attitude, and ignored people in line while chatting up a regular about nonsense for ever. I found it odd that they would not take a copay from me as I had insurance but instead kept insisting that they would bill me. Skip to the actual appointment. The "nurse" was not friendly and acted as if she rather be in another planet then checking my vitals and asking for my symptoms. The "doctor"was Sarah Perez Stokes. She was a JOKE of a doctor. Complete time waster and stared at the computer almost the entire time she was in the room with me. When I told her my two issues, the first one she immediately minimized and ROLLED her eyes at me. Honestly I should have just left at that point and filed a complaint. On the second issue, she had to look in an online medical encyclopedia ( I could have done that myself) and recommended some bogus treatment options. I chose the topical medication which I found out later at the pharmacy that it was wart cream she prescribed and would have cost my insurance company $600+. WHAT?! That doctor should either return to medical school and learn some dang bed side manners or pick a new profession. Never have I ever been so dissatisfied with a doctor visit. Please beware of HIDDEN and MISLEADING FEES as well as invoices sent LONG AFTER services have been completed. This location, as well as the corporate office, quoted a services and 6 months later increased the bill without justification. I am most concerned the $26 billing error was reported as collections on an otherwise spotless credit history. Kelsey-Seybold refuses to remedy an otherwise solvable accounting error even though we have long since paid their error. read more

I really like coming to Kelsey. I like the patient portal and how I can make appointments online. Also they are open on Saturdays. I don't have to go to different places for doctors because they have different specialist in the same building. I came to see Dr. Chi about a mole, and he was amazing. He was so nice and patient as well as very thorough. I was in and out in 20 minutes and that's check in time included. It was quick but not rushed at all. I thought my Appointment was scheduled for today and drove over an hour for a last minute appointment and it was scheduled for the 10th. The receptionist was the coldest person I've ever encountered with AirPods in her ears. She printed out the paper with my appointment date and highlighted the date and slid it my way on the counter. After telling them I could barely walk they said we don't have time today. Will never be back here and blown away by how awful this was. Received a $400 invoice from KS for nothing more than a 10 minute office visit for an ingrown eyelash. They will charge you an extra fee if your regular doctor can't see you. Even with BCBS insurance coverage they say I still owe $197. According to their own business office the doctor can choose the service level to bill you for and boy are they proud of their work!!! Was given an appointment for 8:15am. I arrived at 8:00am. Was then told my appointment was at 11:15 but they would let the staff know I was early. Told there would be a wait. Sat in the waiting area until 10:30. The clinical staff calling patients back never asked if they could help me. No one asked what doctor I was there to see. This was the poorest customer service I have experienced in a while. The MA who did finally take me back never said anything acknowledging I had been waiting a while. I did not eat in case there was lab that was needed. Therefore I did not take any of my medications. I'm never rushed out of my visit and I never have to wait that long to be seen, if anything 5-10 minutes, it's the truth, I'm usually called back before my appt time or right on time. The lab folks are awesome too, if they can manage to get blood out of my small veins without brusing me, then they are GOOD. Gotta, get your yearly annuals ya'll. I love going to Kelsey! My family has been with their clinics for 30 years now and I am happy to be their patient. Originally I started out at the Fort Bend location when I lived in that area, and have now come to the one in Clear Lake which is down the street from my office. Here I have seen Dr. Hite, and have no complaints. She is honest, and listens to you, rather than just trying to give you a prescription and send you on your way. This office on South Ponds is beautiful, and an excellent upgrade from the clinic they had on Gemini. It is clean, modern, and the staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, my husband's insurance is about to kick in and I will no longer be covered here, but I love these doctors and will try to figure out a way around it! read more

I had a baby delivered recently by Dr. Hwang who is employed at this clinic. He was amazing. I highly recommend him. I am less amazed however with Kelsey's billing department. For three months, I have been receiving bills wherein Kelsey is trying to bill my insurance instead of my son's insurance for fees associated with his delivery. Every time I receive another invoice I call and explain the problem and they assure me it will be taken care...which it never is. I voiced concern with a billing associate this week that this would start affecting my credit and she said it won't for another two months, but honestly I don't have much faith that it will be resolved by that time. It's definitely become a big head-ache for me. read more

We love the pediatrics department here. Dr. Siegel is great! We like all of the Drs in this department and like that they have Saturday appointments. We also like getting into the regular adult doctors. The facilities are top notch and we usually don't have to wait long. I do not recommend the pharmacy though, it's very slow. read more

Their lab messed up on my kids labs when they were sick. The ultrasound department has a strict polices on babies coming in to appointments in strollers. The manager cares more about her rules than cares about patients that have real concerns like tumors. They are totally discriminating against women. One of the nurses told me to make an appointment at the main campus because they may have appointments on Saturdays. But can't help but think about single moms that don't have that option. Really bummed healthcare people treat patients like robots and not humans. I thought healthcare values life and good health. I guess not at this facility. read more
