I literally fallen into a horrible depression because of this because I am stuck here for days on end I can't get no one to take me to the grocery store those days I sit here two or three days at a time without no food nothing to drink no way to go anywhere because I'm stuck here because you took my car away from me when the women that were working assured me that my vehicle would be fine until I got back and I explained to her I had to go get the tools to fix it and she said everything was fine not to worry it was fine don't worry it's fine repeatedly that's all she said. And when I finally got everything together and got back there they had told my car off for no reason she didn't even act like it was any problem at all like nothing the first shift people said that it was gone before they got there so it had been the third shift people you have no idea what you have done to me by taking my vehicle away I mean there's days I can't even get myself up because of this depression that I've fallen into! Holidays that I have missed birthdays where I couldn't see my kids it is a horrible horrible thing by taking my vehicle for no reason whatsoever! You just need to return my vehicle to me to my front door is what you need to do with everything that I had in it I haven't even been able to get a ride to go get my stuff out of it because I can't afford to pay anybody because the job I was going to start I wasn't able to because you took my vehicle Thorntons is a horrible place I will never shop there again and I will tell everyone I know everyone I know how horrible they have been to me and to stay away from that place that all they do is lie and destroy people's lives! Thornton's always has great deals on fountain drinks and other snacks. Their frequency card not only saves you money on gas but also rewards you with free stuff like drinks and food. The lady working the counter the night I was there was super nice and friendly. Sometimes that's a rarity at gas station convenience stores. One of the nicer Thornton's in the area for sure.

On Thursday March 12th 2026 after…read morefilling up my car I dropped my wallet at your station at - 798 OH-28, Milford, OH 45150.  I wrote this and sent to Thortons customer service. I did not know where I lost my wallet until your employee left me a Facebook message asking if I lost something at the Thortons gas station.  Unfortunately I did not see this message until Sunday.  I called Thorntons but they told me the employee doesn't come in till noon Monday 16th 2026. I went to the station at 12:30 and spoke to the employee. Then employee immediately got sad and apologized to me. The employee said they did not work the weekend and told me that the draw where they kept all the left and lost items was thrown away on the weekend.  I was astonished since my wallet had my driver's license, credit card and $70.  I thanked the employee since they took the time to notify me. Employee told me a customer found it and turned it in with all the money and items in the wallet. I asked if I could look in the garbage to see if I could find it. I was told they did not know when the garbage gets picked up. The manager would know. They got the manager to talk to me. I asked when they pick up the garbage. He said they come several times a week. I asked why would you thrown out items. He said in a week all the items would over flow the draw.  I said even wallets. He said yes. I asked him if I could look for my wallet. He pointed to the dumpsters and gave me permission.  I looked at both dumpsters, one just had new boxes in it the other was empty.  A policy of throwing out wallets with drivers licenses in them is wrong and unacceptable.  Employee said they were trying to do the right thing for me and even saw I was a vet on my driver's license.  Most stores at least take the wallet with a driver's license to the police station. To have a policy to throw out wallets after two days is wrong. I want someone from your corporate office to call me to understand this policy and change your process so this does not happen to another customer.   It's rare to have a stranger turn in wallet intact to a store employee. Then the employee contacts the customer, only to have a policy preventing the item being returned to the owner because it is thrown out. Two outstanding deeds erased by one bad action. Thortons told me that there was nothing they could do. I was astonished, confused and disappointed!!!

I reported it to my bank as fraud/theft. The are going working on getting my money back. I would only pay in cash if at all possible!!!

Can't understand they stand outside and smoke but they don't have time to fill the paper for gas receipts. So you need to go in and stand in line, which that is why the pumps are backed up. Started going to speedway, today went back to Thorton's to see if things have changed, it's been two months.. but no. Waited inside at counter with no one around just for a receipt.. yeah I know some people don't need receipts.. but some of us do for tax reasons or to turn in to company.. so please do you job you get paid for.. also handicap people pull in pump and have trouble walking in

I have been driving up Colerain Avenue more frequently these past few weeks to participate in…read moreconsumer studies at North Cliff Consultants. This takes me past the Thornton's gas station. I usually note gas prices while driving because they can vary a lot on Colerain Avenue. This station is one to keep track of for possible lower prices. It is conveniently located at the big intersection of Colerain and North Bend Road where there is a traffic light. As it is on lower Colerain Avenue the traffic is not as bad as it can get further up the road so accessing the station is usually easy to do. The station has a lot of pumps to pull up to so having to wait is not usually necessary. The price of gas here is often a little bit lower and seems to be in competition with several other stations just up the road. I never have any trouble paying at the pump so I do not have to go into the store. It has been quite a while since I've entered the store so I'm not reporting on it now.
