I've been getting my hair done here for a few years now, and I seriously love it! I see Trisha and she always makes sure to do what's best for my hair so it doesn't get damaged. After not having a haircut for almost a year, I came into Salon De Belle, nervous that I would be stuck with a cut-happy stylist who would insist on chopping off multiple inches. Erica, however, did no such thing. Super friendly and sensitive to my desire to not have my locks lopped off, Erica snipped an inch (as I asked) and didn't push it when she suggested she trim off just a bit more to even things up. My hair looks and feels great. Even though she said I didn't need another trim for 3 months, I will be back to get some highlights. I'm so happy I found a salon I can trust with my hair! read more

Not from the area, I went to Salon De Belle with my future daughter-in-law and her bridal party on her wedding day. Without an appointment, Gina took the time to also do my hair. I showed her the photos my stylist at home took of me, after she found my perfect wedding hair. Gina is a great stylist. She understood my fine hair and did it perfectly. And it lasted the entire outdoor wedding, which amazed me! Gina also did my daughter's updo, which was a work of art. Gina is professional, easy to communicate with, and has a very comfortable personality.I would trust her with my cut & color, and if I'm ever in the area again, I will do so. She was that good. Ive been looking for a new place to get my hair cut in the Burlington area and somehow stumbled up Salon De Belle online. I thought it may be a little expensive when I looked at their website online but I thought it I would give it a try. I first called up and talked to Hailee(might be wrong on her name Sorry) and asked her about the feather extensions to which she told me that they had a special going on buy one for fifteen dollars get the second one half off. So I was excited about that and made my appointment right away. When the time for my appointment came I showed up a little early to look at books and think of what I was going to get done. When I walked in I was instantly greeted by a girl who was about my age, who also introduced herself as Hailee and unlike some younger girls who can be super snotty was incredibly nice and friendly. She asked if I needed a drink and while I was waiting for for my stylist to be ready for me brought me out some of the feathers and showed me the tinsels that apparently a lot of people do with the feathers. She also filled the lady, who was sitting in the waiting room with me, in on the fad of feathers and how it started. So props to Salon De Belle for having a great friendly receptionist. Now on to the actual hair cut experience. I had my appointment with Jessica. The only downfall of my experience was that I did wait for a little while but I understand that happens, a client is late can mess your entire day up and I had called that day for my appointment. Her consultation was great and she seemed excited to cut my hair in the style I had requested . The shampooing was great they take extra time massaging your scalp and even rub your neck. The towels they used were nice and warm and Jessica threw in a free deep conditioning because I had to wait. She did a great job and I felt like she had been doing my hair for years because she was so easy to talk to. At the end of your first time visit they give you a little gift bag with coupons which are really great coupons, no 5% off coupons. I will definitely be going here from now often. Everyone at Salon De Belle is so warm and friendly. They really make you feel welcome when you walk in the door. I have been a long-standing client of salon owner and stylist, Gina. She's always patient and listens to what I like and what I don't like. One thing I love about the Gina and her staff is that they stay up-to-date on current trends. I have had long hair most of my life and when I wanted a new do, Gina didn't hesitate to be creative. I've been going to Salon de Belle almost since it opened. I was so pleased to find an upscale, modern salon in Burlington. The prices are great an appropriate for the service. Compared to salons in Chicago area, it was a pleasant surprise for me. I had my first cut with Jessica, and was with Jessica for about a year. She did an awesome job, but our schedules just didn't sync. I went elsewhere for about 6 months, and then went back, this time with Jessica's sister Jennifer. Jennifer is wonderful and her schedule works with mine, so after years later and still with Jennifer I am very happy. I've had cuts, color, highlights, waxing, pedicures, manicures, and all have been wonderful. The whole salon is great, especially their awesome receptionist Deb. I highly recommend this salon to anyone! Don't let the prices fool you, you get what you pay for, and you will get the best here! read more

So I had come to this salon a couple of times because a friend worked there. I went in to get a highlight. The "stylist" who was doing my hair had done my hair prior and she knew exactly what I wanted. While she was highlighting my hair with bleach, I noticed her bleaching over my ends that were already bleached. Usually the only spot you bleach is the dark spot by your roots. Not only did she put bleach over bleach, but she also put me under the dryer for about half an hour. As soon as she rinsed my hair and I looked in the mirror, I was mortified. My hair was WHITE. This was only the beginning of this horrific ordeal. She put something in it to make the white more of a blonde color (which is what I wanted). After doing this, she shamp. and cond. my hair and while she was brushing through it, my hair was coming out in clumps. She tried to tell me this was "normal" becuase she used bleach. The amount that was coming out of my hair was definitely not normal. I went home that day and to my horror, my hair kept coming out in clumps. I called her and was very upset, so she offered to do a deep conditioning treatment. I went in, and she did do a treatment. However, the next couple of days my hair was just falling out and the breakage was unreal. I called and wanted the owner to take a look at it. When I had her look at it, she felt like "it wasn't that bad" and sent me on my way. Well the next couple of weeks were just absolutely awful. My hair was coming out and it was so fried and damaged I didn't know what to do. My hair was really long and healthy. I went to several salons to have them look at it, and they ALL said my hair was SEVERELY over processed and wondered if this person who did it was a "professional". Well I called the owner to talk to her about this, and instead of apologizing or anything like that all I got was an attitude. Some of the things that were said to me were, "Well, I don't feel that bad for you because you wanted blonde hair. So this is what happens when you use bleach on your hair." I have bleached my hair while highlighting it for 12 years, and have always had healthy and strong hair. At no point was I ever offered any money back or anything at all. All the salons I talked to about this situation couldn't believe how unprofessional the people where and how they handled this situation. Not only that, but the "stylist" never even called me to see how my hair was or anything. I have had nothing but problems now, and have to chop all my hair off. I tried deep conditioning treatments for months, and the problem never got better. The way they handled this situation was so disturbing. They acted like they messed up a manicure. So if you want to pay over $150 to have your hair destroyed - go here. Not only have I had my hair ruined here, but 4 other people I know have as well. One went through the SAME thing I did. Another one wanted brunette hair and got black hair. After her hair was black they had to lighten it up, which caused her hair to get fried and ruined. And then another one wanted thick highlighted streaks and got orange streaks. I'm not the only one... If you want to pay $150 to get your hair DESTROYED - go here. PERFECT PLACE. read more
