No further instructions. It has been like living in hell since. This is Nov and my leg still hurts. Have had several visits but no mri till the end of October. I'm glad I don't have any heart disease. I'd be dead by now. The clinic people were fast and efficient and friendly but left me hanging. I was glad to find out I had no blood clots. Long story about delays, further testing and incompetence. I will be having KNEE REPLACEMENT in February, 2026!

I was in New Hampshire visiting my parents when an extreme case of vertigo decided to punch me right in the face. I'm going to spare the details of what was wrong with me and focus on my experience dealing with the Wentworth-Douglass Express Care. I came here around 9AM on a Monday and the lobby was pretty dang busy. I was able to get checked in right away and after spending around an hour in the waiting room, I was walked inside and given a private room. The nurses I spoke with were all super friendly and the same can go for the doctor who helped me. The staff seemed super knowledgeable, patient, and very willing to work with my "communication issues" making for the best possible experience (out of a bad situation). I spent a total of three hours between taking medicine, doing random tests, and trying a few different things out. Overall, the Wentworth-Douglass Express Center treated me very well, and that's something I very much appreciate. Did this place fix the problem? No, but it's something they could fix so I'm just cool with the fact that they were understanding, patient, and helpful. If you need urgent care and someone to guide you in the right direction, this place can help.

She was everything we all always hope for. Seriously, I am so incredibly appreciative of the entire team yesterday. No question that they were all the best crew I've had in any setting in all of my experiences. I've had some truly remarkable teams over the years but nothing compared to yesterday. Seana especially, was so amazing. They all were for sure. Even Dr. Imbrie who did the procedure, he was kind, patient. Wasn't mean or brash with anyone in the room. He spoke to like a person. It went from being one of the scariest moments of my life to feeling calm, controlled and the iv. The nurse who I cannot remember his name, did my ivs and I did not feel them. No pain at all. I'm just so impressed and so so grateful for every single person on the crew yesterday. I cannot thank them enough. There was even a nurse, she was pregnant I remember and she was so kind, sweet and thoughtful. She made me feel so comfortable and safe. Seana was the best PA nurse I've ever met. Amazing young women and WDH is lucky to have her and that entire cardiac care team as are the patients who end up in their care.

I came here a few weeks ago because I was having severe vertigo while in New Hampshire and the walk in clinic I was at a few days prior told me to go to an Emergency Room in a few days if symptoms remained or had gotten worse. I came here at around 9AM on a Thursday and the lobby was completely dead when I came in. I was able to check in, get a private room, and start speaking with the nurses pretty fast. In my first two hours at the hospital I was hooked up to an IV, drew blood, had all my basic tests taken, and even went in to get a cat scan. The nurses were extremely friendly throughout my visit and I have zero complaints about the first few hours. Once I was done getting a cat scan, I was sent back to my room and that's where I sat with zero communication, zero water, and zero updates for three hours as I sat dizzy in a room. Once 2:30PM rolled around, the doctor finally entered the room and was not very friendly at all. She would say a couple of things and whenever I tried to respond for clarification she would just got irritated and cut me off, making it kind of hard to actually process what was going on or fully understand. Once she finished talking, she basically just left and I was back to being alone waiting for a nurse who I was able to ask a few questions to and get actual clarification. Overall, my visit to Frisbie Memorial Hospital left a pretty 50/50 taste in my mouth. The doctor wasn't very friendly and insisted multiple times that the most important thing I could do was stay hydrated even though I was left without water for the last 6 hours, so who knows. The hospital itself was fairly clean, the nurses were friendly when dealing with me, and even though my experience wasn't ideal, this is the main hospital for the area since medical centers aren't exactly all over the place in New Hampshire. My only recommendation is for the doctors to be a little more helpful when talking to people with Autism, because that one interaction ruined an entire week for me.

The only issue is Wells does not answer their phone, no matter how often you call. After refusing to take any outside calls and complaining about faxes coming through, we pulled the plug and drove to Kittery who's lab staff were great. So if you take anything away from this go to Kittery instead or take hard copies of your orders.
