Do not go here, went in with severe flu symptoms and they sent me home saying "nothing is wrong".

I've been here probably 3 times since they opened years ago. This most recent time, I scheduled a check in time online, which I thought was very convenient. I did have a little bit of a wait after getting there, maybe 25 minutes before being brought into triage but after that everything went incredibly fast. my daughter went in today. she was treated by the receptionist with kindness. the nurse was equally kind. however the doctor told her she had more of a chance to be bitten by a shark at Hampton Beach than she did having a sinus infection and sent her on her way. she has been not feeling well stuffy for weeks. her symptoms changed. her teeth hurt and her mucous is green and her head aches and fever. what a turd the doctor was. she got back to me in the waiting room crying. went in for a clogged ear found out i had an ear infection had other symptoms and issues told the receptionist that i was checked in for a " clogged ear" when my name was called i had my significant other with me he has always gone in with me because of my anxiety twords doctors , the ma that took me in did not alow him to come in and told me because " in case this was an abuse situation" i replied with " i came in for a clogged ear and thats your knowledge" i was very disgusted with someone thinking every couple is in an abusive situation sense she only does it when a "female is seeking medical care" i replied with " what if a male was being abused" was given so response but he was then able to come into my exam room. my opinion, very weird to me. read more

I usually wouldn't review a place like this. But bathroom is pretty dirty, waiting room is dirty with used tissues and other trash. No trash barrel in the waiting room for all the tissue boxes they provide. I obviosuly don't feel well. Blasting headache chills, fever, cough and sinus issues and I find it so annoying they have the music playing while having a TV with sound on. Seriously so annoying. Just pick one... Service though was incredibly fast which I appreciate a lot. read more

I have visited this location twice when unable to immediately be seen by my doctor for pressing matters late in the day. From the moment I walked through the door I felt cared for, reassured and comfortable. Medical staff is professional, kind and thorough. Don't hesitate to use this resource Revision, 4 days later. Well the care was exceptional as stated above however when you're waiting for lab results you were told You would be called with, and yet no call comes, it's annoying. Excellent facility!!! Absolutely loved Mike, the paramedic, and Liz, the nurse practitioner. They were both SO awesome with my Granddaughter. They actually made the visit fun for her. We visited ConvenientMD over the weekend when my son had difficulty breathing. When I called to see if they could see us, the secretary was very pleasant. When we arrived they took us right away and were very attentive to our little ones needs. The nurse and doctor were very thorough and caring. My family and three year old son felt very comfortable in their care. We are so happy we chose this urgent care and would highly recommend them! read more

I went into Convient MD recently and was very disapointed. No doctors there all nurses or Nurse Pretend to be. They didn't seem to Make an accurate diagnosis or recommend a specific tratment plan. I got in on Monday to see my own Doctor. Eveyone was nice and pleasant, but they are at McDonalds. As well . the Clinic is to-just as fast- in and out..... Why bother. read more

I tried calling them today before going but they don't answer the phone (when I was there I asked about this and they said they don't answer phones) and when I went to walk in was told they only take appointments that must be booked online. Wait time was long but understandable, I liked the cue on the screen so it wasn't just endless anticipation. I appreciated that I didn't have to say my ailments in the lobby at all. I have never been to urgent care before but it was Sunday and I did something to my lower back and was in need of a medical opinion. I did some research first and this place had the best ratings for Dover, NH so off we went. We got to Urgent Care, checked in and I was seen immediately. The nurse was professional and the doctor was great and had amazing bedside manor. I Was in and out of there in under 40 minutes. I left with instructions on care as well as recommendations on products to help with the pain as well as stretches I could do. Highly recommended!!!!! read more

I've never been treated so poorly by a doctor before than I was treated by Dr. Greenberg at this location. I have been treated at other ConvenientMD locations before and have never had any issues. Dr. Greenberg is rude, aggressive, has no listening skills, and is incredibly misogynistic. He put words in my mouth, didn't listen and talked over me when I tried to answer his questions, rolled his eyes at me, and when I tried to stand up for myself said "Now listen HONEY, I don't HAVE to help you" and then proceeded to tell me to leave the office. My partner had to deal with him last week and had similar issues. Not quite to the same extent, but male Drs (especiallly ones like Dr. Greenberg), do tend to listen to male patients and take them much more seriously than they do female patients, so I guess that's to be expected. Other Drs at the various ConvenientMD locations have been nothing but lovely, but if you end up stuck with him, run the other way. read more

Went in since i was concerned that my cold might be developing into something more and went home with a $385 bill for 10 mins with the doctor. I called ahead since I heard an advertisement that they are an alternative to your doctor office / ER. The office confirmed that they bill your visit as an Office Visit vs. ER and that is why they are competitive. They would not tell me over the phone what an office visit costs but suggested for a rough idea to visit the State of NH cost site: https://nhhealthcost.nh.gov/ Per this site they charge $75, so that is what I was expecting to pay. Why so much more..? There are classifications of Office Visits and depending on the complexity, (Low, Medium, High) the charge can vary greatly regardless of how much time you actually spend in the office. So in my case, common cold with a chest x-ray to confirm no infection it was: $345 - Office Visit (High complexity) $40 - Surcharge for after 5pm visit $60 - Chest X-Ray Upon getting the bill and explaining that I had a common cold the billing office provided no suggestions on why my visit was coded as a high complexity nor could they tell me what would a Low complexity visit would be. It is at the discretion of the doctor. I think it is a scam that there are no guidelines for the consumer to know how they are going to be charged and it is at the whim of a doctor that you're trusting your health to now accurately assign an office code for billing purposes. Ironically I was able to get the billing office to tell me how much the charge would've been if someone has no insurance - flat $150. read more

Do not go here. My PCP reviewed my visit and diagnosis and concluded that I was misdiagnosed and my Xrays were not usable. Not to mention they will automatically draft your card or bank account without you giving any consent. This is a terrible business practice. read more

I was so happy to see one of these pop up right near my home. Everyone I spoke with was so kind and cheerful. We were there for only about 40 minutes total. You don't have to pay anything at the time of service, and my visit only ended up being the cost of my normal co-pay. I will definitely be back whenever anyone in my family is sick. In April I was in NH For vacation where I became ill with a continuous cough at night while trying to sleep. I went to this urgent care office and meet with a PA which I believe is all that is available there. My wife was with me who happens to be a office manager for a Urgent Care in California. The PA prescribed a mild decongestant which didn't even touch the problem. A week an a half later when got home I went to my wife's Urgent Care where there is a full time doctor who prescribed the correct medicine for me to get well. I recently received my bill from Convenient MD and it the total for the visit was 392.00 my bill in California was 135.00 and that's seeing a highly educated doctor. I grew up in NH and never thought I would pay almost 3 times more for less. read more

If you do. It have covid or do not want to get tested for covid they do not care. I went in yesterday with sever kidney pains. I sat in my room after getting some test done awaiting results. A PA came in and quickly introduced herself. I was first told "this is not an emergency". I do t know if this was her way of saying if you don't have covid don't come in. She read my test results that should a few results that were high. She then told me not to worry about the high results as they is a machine that has low tolerances and if I had used the machine she used normally it would be normal. I was the. Once again told this is not an emergency. I was given a paper with my results bye bye and sent on my way. I sent the results to another doctor who quickly noticed all the higher levels indicate a kidney infection. I am now being treated by real doctors and not covid test swabbers. I guess if you have covid or think you do and can't find another place to get tested then maybe go here. If you have any real medical condition DO NOT GO here. Remover you are no emergency with convent care unless you want a covid test. They couldn't careless about you. $$$$$$$!!! read more

I called ConvientMD to see if they were in network for my insurance. We are military and carry Tricare. I said, not just take Tricare, but are in network. They assured me they were. The receptionist said she even verified it with her manager. So I went down there because I was pretty sick. Upon being checked in I was asked for a credit card to keep on file. I asked the young lady why, and she said to charge it if my insurance didn't pay. I asked why they didn't call to verify the insurance like most other medical facilities do and she said they just took credit cards to charge. Due to a recent theft on my bank card I let her know I couldn't do that and was not comfortable with giving my credit card information to be placed in a file where anybody could view it. She told me she would check with her manager, and then returned to tell me that the manager said it was their policy and there would be no exceptions. I then asked to speak to the manager who turned out to be very condescending. I explained to him that we are a military family with military insurance and that he could call and verify our insurance would pay for this visit. I explained again that I could not provide a credit card due to recent card theft and I wasn't comfortable having my credit card number in a file in their office. He then explained that I could give him $75 cash and then a doctor would see me, and they would still bill my insurance. Being military we have lived many places in the world. I have been to many urgent cares, many hospitals, and many doctors, and I have never once been asked for cash or a credit card to hold while they're waiting for my insurance to pay. I asked if this was a medical facility to treat patients or a business strictly looking to make money, he rolled his eyes at me. He was rude, talked down to me, and could have cared less that I was sick. He told me I could go to the ER. I couldn't believe I was in a clinic, had insurance, and was being turned away. Something seemed shady to me if they were willing to turn away a sick patient with insurance without $75 cash or a credit card they could charge at will. It made me really worried for patients going there who don't have insurance or don't know better. Before leaving the girl at the desk told me they had to make money somehow. I was shocked. I thought yeah, from my insurance. When I called to report to Tricare that this was going on, I was informed this would never be acceptable treatment for a military family, and while they might take Tricare they were not in network. Had they seen me their mistaken information would have cost me 30% of the bill instead of 0% because they are out of network. I never leave reviews but I thought it was important for the military retired people in the area to know this place is out of network and there are in network places that are much better. I called 4 other urgent cares in the area to see what their policy was and they couldn't believe how I was treated. Not one of them requires a credit card or cash down payment. In fact none of them had ever even heard of that practice. I went to another urgent care that was In network where I put no money down, where they verified my insurance like every other medical practice, and I was treated like a human being. They really cared and even apologized for how I was treated at the other clinic. There are better urgent cares in the area. Compassion for a sick patient should be more important. It's not like I didn't have insurance to pay, and one call could have verified it. My insurance assured me verifying was the practice, not taking cash or credit card and to be very careful doing that. Think twice before you go to this clinic. At the very least maybe they will learn to treat people like humans. read more
