Being from a small town, this place reminds me so much of a small town pharmacy.

And then said if I wanted them to contact my doctor to ask for additional future refills to Reply, yes So I said yes, and what proceeded to happen was a request for a second refill (knowing that I had no refills left and that I just picked one up). This was a tremendous waste of my time, my Dr's time, as well as the staff at Walgreens time. This is not the only erroneous text that I have received. Also, the online ordering system is defective. Every time I think it's going to work quicker I fill out all the information needed for refills, I unfortunately have several. And then it says that an error has come about and nothing has been ordered, please try later. I have tried this probably a dozen times over the years and it is unacceptable. If these issues are not resolved, I will have no choice, but to go to another pharmacy that has good communication and takes to consider my time as well as as their staff members and their pharmacist time. Sincerely, Mark PS I will be posting this on the Internet sites so that anybody else who comes into this situation will notify Walgreens administration as well

There's an attendant working at the front where the self check out kiosks were. One for card only, the other for cash and card. Can never go wrong with 2/5 Monsters, especially where you can get the weirder and more rare flavors. I got the Shockingly Smooth blue and Wickedly Creamy orange. I've seen these before but never in the same place. Nice, nice! I also got the canned oxygen I needed, wanted to be fancy and got the menthol one, so 2 birds killed with one stone. Easy shopping, not bad prices for what I got.

It's in walking distance (about a 7 minute stroll) from the Denver Sheridan and there are trolleys available that run along the street. For it being in a busy area with a lot of foot traffic it was decently organized. It's not the widest of stores but it stretches decently far back. There are travel size items, a souvenir aisle with mugs and shirts etc and then your usual pharmacy related items. I don't remember seeing a ton of items behind locked doors. There's a decent amount of end caps items and even a clearance section. When I came on a Tuesday afternoon around 4pm the cashiers were on the floor cleaning and restocking so it was all self check out. There were about 4 self check out stands.

A man walked in with no shirt on and a hospital wristband, clearly not in a normal state. He wasn't stealing. He wasn't causing a scene. He was standing at self‑checkout with one pint of ice cream and a bag of chips, trying to pay for them. He was a little hard to understand when he spoke, but he wasn't aggressive or threatening anyone. Instead of offering help or even basic compassion, the manager immediately called the police. And within seconds, officers arrived, put him in handcuffs, and arrested him right there in front of everyone. I even offered to pay for his food, and the staff were rude to me for trying to help. When I asked why he was being arrested, the manager claimed he was "threatening them," which simply wasn't true. I was standing right there. He wasn't threatening anyone. He was confused, hungry, and clearly in some kind of crisis. This was a moment where a mental health crisis team should have been called -- not armed officers. Denver literally has the STAR program for situations exactly like this. Instead, this store chose punishment over compassion. What I saw was a vulnerable person being treated like a criminal because he didn't fit the mold of a "normal shopper." It was heartbreaking and completely unnecessary. No one deserves to be handcuffed for being hungry, confused, or recently discharged from a hospital. King Soopers needs to train their staff on how to handle mental health situations with empathy instead of fear. What happened today was wrong, and I hope this review brings some awareness to it.
