A complete rip off from day one. Was sold a flawed pair of glasses with a two year warranty. Informed that the warranty had expired because the glasses had been on sale for a year, then I purchased the glasses, came back with broken frame a year later, hence outside the warranty. About a month ago, on a Saturday of course, I woke up with a big black 7 on my left eyeball. After being freaked out I pulled it together, asked my daughter to drive us to the ER. She had Dr. Leach's (my ophthalmologist) cell number so she called to see which ER he might be working at. He said 'Can you just meet me at my office?' We did and he diagnosed my CRAO which basically means I had a stroke in my eye. Today I woke up with a painful left eye that was weeping. I called ClearView and they got me in. The optometrist consulted with the ophthalmologist and set up my treatment:eye drops. They shared the ophthalmologist's cell and asked me to call him if it got worse and to definitely call tomorrow to update him. They also set me up with a Monday appointment. I stopped in today because I needed to have my glasses adjusted. I sat on them during the Super Bowl and bent the heck out of them. I was on a pretty tight schedule and I live quite a ways away, and the optical department was closed. Dang it!! However, the office person found someone to help, probably during their lunch hour, and I got my glasses straightened out. Excellent customer service, can't say enough good about the staff and doctors here. read more

I went to my local medical urgent care and one issue I had was my eyes with dark streaks. The clinic was tardy in their responses back and referral to an Ophthalmologist. I was referred to Clearview Eye Clinic on a Thursday. I was happy that they found a way to accommodate me in on a Friday. Good people and great care. read more

Dr. Leach is great. My problem is that I tried to try on some glasses today was never actually seen by anyone in the eyewear side. One employee was new and didn't know anything and the other woman working there was really cranky and seemed annoyed And didn't really seem to like her job too much and she never said OK I'll be right with you. I sat there for half an hour and finally just walked out. They wasted my time and I went to Alpine vision center instead and they were very helpful. read more

Dr. Leach and the team at Clearview were absolutely wonderful. I had my second cataract surgery done through them 3 days ago. Everyone who helped me went out of their way to do whatever they could to make it easy, which can be challenging between my portable oxygen and power chair that takes up a lot of room. My surgery only took about 20 minutes from start to finish, and my eye is doing great. After care is also excellent and as easy for me as possible. I ordered safety glasses and they told me they will call and update me. 2 weeks later, I called them to ask about the glasses but they said they will call me back but never did. A week later, i did the same thing, left a message since they did not answer but never gave me a call back. I still don't have the glasses up to now. THEY'RE HORRIBLE! I won't be back here and definitely won't recommend them! read more

We had a truly wonderful experience at ClearView Eye Clinic. I was treated with old school manners and service ethic. All the people working there, seem to really be happy and want to do a good job. The place is bright, clean, ample parking, friendly for those that are disabled. Above all of this, my adult daughter, for the first time in her life can see out both eyes and read menu's....seems maybe she never had the right prescription before. Dr. Richards is great. Very understanding and really understood my eye issues, diagnosed, and treated my issues very well. Staff at both locations were great as well. Dr. Richards, after having to switch from my previous doctor after 34 years, knew exactly what my eye conditions were and knew what I was talking about when explaining all the symptoms I was having. For as long as I can remember I have struggled with my eye sight. To add to that I would lose my head if it wasn't attached. Growing up I had a hard time reading important information on the board in school without glasses... but rarely knew where my glasses were or if they were in one piece. I wore glasses (about 20 pairs) through college, and tried numerous types of contacts along the way. With astigmatisms in both eyes I had a difficult time finding contacts that would work for me. As an auctioneer, it is vital that I can see my customers as to not miss a bid or read a number incorrectly. I first heard of Dr. Leach at one of the benefit auctions that I was selling at. He supported the cause and seemed to have such a great relationship with his employees, other business, and the community members in attendance. This support of our community, one in which he did not grow up in, spoke volumes to me. After researching Clearview, I decided to go in for a LASIK consultation. I tried not to get my hopes up, knowing that astigmatisms might be hard to correct. The office ran like a well oiled machine. Everyone was very friendly, competent, and seemed to genuinely enjoy their jobs... something you don't often see these days. They gave me good news that day. My vision problems could be a thing of the past. A few short weeks later I met with Dr. Leach for LASIK surgery. I was driving to work the next morning, thinking to myself how strange it was that I could see the road signs so clearly without my contacts in. I left his office with nearly perfect vision and haven't had any issues since. For the past few years it has been incredible to realize how much the "small things" mean. Being able to take a nap without worrying about taking my contacts out or suffering from pain if I didn't... Not having to worry about my glasses fogging up while hunting and not being able to see the deer... Wearing a pair of cute sunglasses instead of my glasses... or jumping in the water for a swim with no regard to losing my glasses or contacts. I have sent several people to Clearview since my procedure, including my 80 year old grandmother when it was time for her to have cataract surgery. I knew between Dr. Leach and the amazing staff she would be treated with respect, incredible skill and everything would be explained clearly, putting her nerves to rest. I now go into auctions without any worries that I might miss a bid because of my eyesight. I continue to do auctions throughout the area... and enjoy seeing the faces (instead of fuzzy blobs) of all of the wonderful supporters and customers. I'm a physician and have worn glasses or contacts most of my life and was functionally useless without them (couldn't read the big E on the chart) Got LASIK with Dr. Leech after years of deliberation 1 week ago. It is amazing to wake up and see without having to do anything at all. I finally have a drivers license without a restriction for corrective lenses. read more

My daughter is a student at WSU and went to ClearView in November 2015 for her annual checkup. The doctor was excellent but the secretaries/front staff have no idea what they are doing. My daughter ordered contact lenses after her appointment and was told they would be available in about a week and would call her when they came in. Two weeks later my daughter called them to see if they were in and was told not yet. Two weeks later she called again and they still were not in. Since winter break was approaching I told my daughter to just have ClearView fax her prescription to our local eye doctor her in Ephrata since she would be here soon. So she called and ClearView assured her they would fax the prescription right away. She arrived here a week later, contacted our local eye clinic to see if they had her contacts ready and was told they never received a fax from ClearView. My daughter had our clinic call them to get the prescription ASAP. It only took a couple of days to get her contacts once our eye clinic ordered them. When she picked them up we found out that ClearView never billed our insurance so it was a big hassle for our eye clinic to get straightened out. We will never have her use ClearView again as what was such a simple thing as getting contact lenses ended up being a huge ordeal. Very unprofessional. read more

My cataracts and astigmatism were corrected at the same time! I went to Dr Leach who diagnosed my cataracts and recommended surgery. I've worn thick glasses since I was a little girl, but since my cataract surgery I only need them for reading things up close.
