I've eaten lunch with Ken Shamrock in San Jose and had The Beastman Eastman and others attend my concerts in Las Vegas so I have to say I love this gym is here in Clearwater and I hope people check this place out. You never know. My cousin and I trained his son and he made it to the finals in the Sacramento try outs a while ago. I actually told a want a be gang banger at my work who was threatening me that I'd go ask the instructor here if he'd allow us to get in the octagon together in a controlled match to let us spare then hopefully we'd be able to get past our differences. Fighting shouldn't be a first option, but when it's necessary it should be in a controlled environment where each man can learn from from it and grow from it. He was an adult and less than half my age, but he declined. Now I believe if this man had joined this gym instead of hung out with gang bangers he'd have the discipline to speak better to his elders and wisdom to know when to fight, where to fight, and with whom to fight. Keep up the good work guys. Lets get a champion coming out of Clearwater.

With all that I was told last year by my physician that I would need a life changing surgery, and full transparency it scared me, especially when I was told about post operation recovery (I would be down hard). I'm not much for sharing, but I entrusted Danny Pacheco (gym owner) & Coach Keith Moore (personal trainer) with this devastating news and they put me on an 8-week health challenge focused on my post operation recovery and worked me until I hit the operating table. Day one out of surgery I was required to walk one lap around the hospital floor, later that evening I was walking 2 multiple times, and day 3 I averaged 3 laps every 2 hours. I was told I would need someone to assist me physically with day-to-day effects, which was not the case since physically I was able to care for myself and still not sure why, but I never needed to finish the pain medication. Every time I go into the gym, I'm greeted with a warm and friendly smile, and even in one case Coach Hugh and Coach Marissa came up and asked me to pray one day unprompted and without knowledge of what I was going through (I needed it). Sorry if this was long winded, but I don't write many reviews but could not keep quiet about this GEM of a GYM, today marks one week out of surgery and though I still have a road to recovery I have more independence than I was told I would have, even able to walk around the block, there is something special about this place. I asked for Teknique to pause his membership for a few months but that is something they were not able to do. I never signed a contract and was charged for two extra months (8 private classes). When I sent emails to pause/cancel they kept charging me but said I could used the private classes I had already paid for. I was able to use a few of them and then the girl who booked the classes apparently left and I received a phone call saying I owed over $300 dollars for my sons missed classes, which were never booked by me. The front desk as this place does not know what they are doing and have no clue. Beware of this gym!!!
