The sales experience was aggressive and misleading from the start. I was pressured to sign the same day and given inaccurate information about financing. I was told the interest rate was a "worst case scenario" and could be lowered later. That was false. Once I spoke with the creditor, I was locked into a very high rate with no options. I was also told I could pay off $29k interest-free in 90 days, which is unrealistic for most people. The windows were ordered incorrectly and installed in a different style than what I was shown. I later learned the demo window wasn't even available in the color I ordered. Due to sizing issues, my original windows had to be reinstalled, but the glass was broken, leaving us with damaged windows for months. At one point, broken glass was left outside, creating a safety risk for my granddaughter and dogs. The installation quality was UNACCEPTABLE. There were gaps, holes, and very poor caulking. Instead of fixing the issues properly, I was told they could cover it with quarter round, which other window companies have confirmed is not acceptable. Installers also damaged my property and attempted to hide it. The final installer even stated the work was not done correctly. Communication dropped off significantly after the contract was signed. I often went days without responses and had no clear timeline. While the project manager tried to help and the president came to apologize, the final resolution was to leave the work as-is and offer a small restaurant gift card. Promised drywall repairs were never completed. I cannot recommend Clearwater Exteriors. This was a frustrating and disappointing experience overall. read more

We bought windows from them last year. I have been trying for hours to reach someone at this company. All their phone numbers are blocked or out of service. I tried their chat service and they said they'd have someone call me back. It never happened. I think this is a scam company now I would be very, very, very wary of ever doing business with them. We were extremely impressed with Clearwater. From the moment a salesman came to our door, everyone was extremely personable, communicative, and helpful. We received regular communication from Ryan on the status of our windows and they were flexible with timing to get them done! The installers were also the sweetest and hard working folks. I had originally posted this review under Window Nation, but have since found out that Clearwater Exteriors is a Window Nation agent or contractor. I didn't hire this company, but my neighbor across the street did but I got to experience the nature of their employees. I frequently have a problem with my neighbor's contractors parking in front of my house and either completely or partially blocking my driveway. This particular neighbor is a repeat offender and won't manage their contractors at all. I asked the installer who drives a white Toyota Tundra if he would please move his truck a couple feet forward just to give me a little more room to access or back out of my driveway. He proceeds to give me lip service about it as he's walking towards his pickup. I responded "why can't you just be nice and do it with giving me lip service about it?" He responded with a tirade, through his hands in the air, said I "don't own the street", turned around and said he's not moving it. Then he and his team continued to berate me and crack jokes in Spanish. I called Window Nation, spoke to a woman who was cordial, described what occurred and that I wanted this punk to move his vehicle. She said she'd report it to his manager and took my contact information. Nothing was done. The installers talk about me and laugh when I come out of my house. Ok, little boys. You just cost your company thousands of dollars. Not only will I not solicit a quote from this company for the 5 windows I'll be replacing soon, but everyone I know will hear about this and you'll lose their business as well. I'm writing this review in the evening of 11/8/2024, it's currently a blizzard and there are travel advisories due to the inclement weather, icy sidewalks and uncleared roads. Yet, this company still thinks it's appropriate to send agents door to door AND to train them to ignore no-soliciting and no-knock notices. Both are absolutely shameful business practices on their own, but even more so taken together. Would never recommend this company based on how they treat their people and how they permit their people to treat who they view as potential customers. read more

My windows were 1 or 2 inch to small there was to much gap around my windows when put in,they had to fill a lot.Had to have new trim put in on the inside and the outside.There should of been 1/2 or 3/4 inch gap,was not happy about it.Was told sometimes that will happen.Guy that measure the windows has done it very long time,so he should of measure it 2 times to make sure there they would fit. read more

We have had 11 windows replaced by Clearwater Exteriors, with plans of finishing the remaining windows later this year. The sales people, finance, measurer and installers have been fantastic thru the whole process. We did have one issue with one of the windows (cracked during shipping) but the new window has already been ordered and will be a snap to replace once it has arrived, (which is the only reason they received 4 stars). The windows themselves, AMAZING! I love the duel opening option, the sliding screens and the "flip" option for easy cleaning. But the best part? We noticed IMMEDIATELY the temperature difference in the house, especially in the basement. In fact, I don't think our furnace has turned on since we changed the windows! That's how insulated these windows are! I would highly recommend using Clearwater Exteriors for window replacement. read more

We just had our windows replaced by Clearwater Exteriors and from the start of the project we experienced great communication! The windows arrived during the expected timeframe and the installation took just 1 day! They sent out a team of 7 guys and each one had a specific task. They put pads down under each window, vacuumed/cleaned up after themselves and were overall the most polite group of guys. As for the windows themselves they speak for themselves! Cleaning inside/out is a breeze! The noise from the street is now non existent and not to mention the lack of dust (and we have 2 dogs/ 2 cats!) This firm replaced windows in our home and did a great job. They did a thorough job of measuring and estimating the costs accurately. When the windows were manufactured, They did very nice installation work. They took care during removal of the old windows to limit the amount of touch up required. Alex and his brilliant install team just left. TOTAL Pro's!!....having done this so fluidly for almost 20 years. From the custom bull-nosed sills, to the caulking perfection, unique sash trim, the very quiet install work and to NOT a speck of excess, cut material or sawdust on the ground outside....the overall work is spectacular! The low E allows for a crystal clear view to the outside, yet while standing in front of the windows while outside....you cannot really see in during the daylight hours. And we have NO DOUBT that the insulated triple panes, Low UV A&B rays, and thermal optimized frame will in fact deliver maximum energy efficiency for decades to come. It's never easy to spend a large chunk of money, but there comes a time when necessity is paramount. I'm a comparative shopper therefore had 5 companies come to our home and offer quotes. The last company to do so was Clearwater Exteriors. Mind you, they all offered what looked like great products, yet at insanely high prices, which we couldn't afford. Clearwater's sales rep Jeff, was friendly, knowledgeable about the product, and when he showed us a quote right then and there, (most had to send one later), we were stunned. My husband and I looked at each other and thought, how can what appears to look like a great product be so reasonably priced? I understand that seems like a silly thing to say when you're dropping that kind of money, but compared to the 4 other quotes, it was a great offer. If you are in the market for windows and have been shopping around, you know windows are crazy expensive. We had wood framed windows and after 25 years the Colorado weather had been brutal to them. They were inefficient with cold/heat and noise. We have all natural wood trim in our house so it's been an adjustment to see something else, but the benefits far outweigh the aesthetics. And it's not to say they don't look nice they do, it's just a change after what we've looked at for so long. We had 9 windows installed in August and the difference was immediate. The house is cooler, noise from outside is reduced greatly and they look fantastic. We can't wait to do the remaining windows! We couldn't afford the whole house so I appreciated the option to lock in our price to have the remaining windows completed next summer. As consumers, we all want a great product at a reasonable price. Clearwater beats all their competitors in all the important categories. We LOVE our new custom-built windows and sliding door from Clearwater Interiors! They are super easy to open and close, and the windows have locking mechanisms by which we can safely leave them open at night or when we're out shopping. And we especially like the triple-pane feature which cuts down on cooling costs in the summer and heating during the winter. (We are keeping the thermostat several degrees higher this summer, and the condo stays cooler than past years!) Plus, we've noticed it is much quieter in the bedrooms at night due to the added insulation features of our Encore windows. What a great investment, one that we will enjoy for decades to come. Shane and his team at Clearwater Exteriors did a bang up great job installing windows and sliding glass doors in my home. I am very picky when it comes to my home features, appliances, look and who I work with. From introduction to initial presentation to home measurements and final installation, all went seamless and flawless. All of the windows look sharp, clean and have added that ever important visual value to my home along with the required quality I was looking for. The detail and window features are on point. I can now clean all of my windows from the inside with a simple flip of a switch. The triple pained glass has already lowered my electrical bills this summer and I am sure will do the reverse for my gas bills in the winter as well. All of my new windows have a subtle tint that is not very noticeable during the day. The windows cut down on that nasty heat gain when the sun is blazing in the afternoon. The concerns I should have had were zeroed out as all steps of the process were handled professionally and with integrity. Alex and the installation crew cleaned up after themselves and left my house cleaner than they arrived. When I had a question, I called or texted Shane and I quickly received a response. Clearwater Exteriors has been incredible to work with from consultation to the follow up after installation. Throughout the process the entire team was timely and helpful, making sure there were no questions or concerns. We were told by friends that replacing windows would result in a huge mess and chipped paint but that wasn't the case. Clearwater left everything in tact, were very careful to not damage anything and left the house extremely clean. The windows are beautiful and we've noticed a drastic difference in the temperature of the house upstairs and the reduced dust throughout the house. I would recommend them to anyone.
