It's Friday night. It's about 8pm. Trey and Gary just left. ClearWater plumbing just wrapped up a week of work in our house and outside of our house. The specifics of the job is actually the least important part. Plumbing emergencies and repairs are stressful and expensive. Nobody likes it. My kitchen sink wouldn't drain. I took everything apart and accessed the trap outside. Clean. I knew there was a problem. Called a big name plumber we'd used before. I didn't have alot of confidence in the diagnosis or the amount of the bid. It literally... came out of thin air. Got another estimate. Another $300. Same thing. Not to mention, both estimates came with an immediate upsale attempt within the estimate! My wife did some research and found the very well reviewed ClearWater. We called them out. Chris Potter came out and just owned the diagnosis. He was thorough, kind, and sensitive. We also had an up north connection. No attempt to hustle the estimate. He took his time with both my wife and I. I'm a therapist and she's a nurse anesthetist. We like to understand things and learn things. We asked for a guess on the cost and he was reluctant. He wanted to be accurate and he asked for a day or two to work it up. That is competence. We committed that night to use ClearWater. On day one, no Chris Potter. That's when I met Trey. Trey explained that he would be doing the pipe work. The excavation. The jackhammering. And all of the excessive explaining we require. :-). My first impression of Trey was forming and was beginning with the observation that he was younger than I would have thought "for all this." Within seconds, Trey owned the moment and my first impression. I've spent so many years in the military. Working in cardiac surgery. Working in EMS, and running my counseling practice. My point is I could tell that Trey was confident, in charge, and clearly competent. He was decisive, communicative, diligent, thorough, and he worked at a steady and strong pace. Also, two important stand out elements of Trey, he was excited about the work. It's art for him. The second, he was consistent. His mood never changed all week. He was dialed in and a joy to watch. I enjoyed the conversations about the work. There were other people that were in and out and I have high praise for them all. Now on the day that was clearly the highly technical part, the whole crew was at our house. I could tell some were watching and some were learning and some were assisting. All classy and happy to be there. Chris was clearly coordinating the the process of lining our cast iron pipes. He and Trey worked together like a couple of Jedi's. Communication was excellent. No incessant up selling. We paid what we were quoted. The job wrapped on time. They were careful with our home. They were also patient. Teenagers. A couple loud dogs. A toddler. I was working Telehealth from home. Etc. Not to mention we watched and asked questions the whole time. At one point in conversation Trey was talking about the work answering a question of mine and I asked a follow up about "if this was your house..." Turns out it generated an additional bid and additional work. I'm thankful for that and I was quite happy to pay a fair price for some piece of mind though some optional and additional work. I highly recommend ClearWater Plumbers! I don't want to dive into too much detail about our housing problems, but I will say after using another well known plumber and getting ripped off with costs and poor quality of work ClearWater plumbers really came through drastically. Here are my pros and cons: 1. Great customer service : Professional, friendly, and clear communication with Haley, Misty, and Luke. They follow up after every appointment to double check everything was understandable. 2. Great plumbers: I had the opportunity to work with Maxwell, Andrew, Tim, Zach and their apprentices. All of them exceeded my expectations with their quality of work, professionalism, commitment, honesty, friendliness, kindness, and knowledge. I will say Maxwell, who I worked with the most, went above the call of duty and informed me of changes, research, and always followed up with phone calls. I was very impressed with his good work ethic. 3. Great Owners- I had the opportunity to speak with Amy, who is the owner, and she personally sent plumbers out free of charge to evaluate my situation. I'm so grateful she cares about all her customers and is very helpful and kind. 4. Quality of work: I had a carbon filter installed by Maxwell, Tim, and Andrew and the work was superior. They had originally brought the wrong insulation to go around the pvc pipes and instead of just installing it they were honest in letting me know it was the wrong fit and then installed the correct one. All of the drilling of 1-2" holes into my crawlspace was clean and measured properly. I also had them take out a sink and cut the pipes. They were kind enough even to set the sheet rock back in for me so I didn't have to do a whole bunch of extra work. They even cleaned up everything like new. 5. Courteous and Friendly: never complained in the heat, always willing to help , and allowed me to ask questions on their visit. 6. Work performed was always clear- always asked if I had any questions before they did anything. 7. Reasonably priced- I didn't feel ripped off. I felt the pricing was good and the quality of work and expertise showed. 8. Text appointment reminders: They even provide a bio of the plumber who's coming to your home so you know a little about them. They are very courteous in calling before they show up which so many don't normally do which is so frustrating. 9. Technology savvy- all quotes and receipts are sent electronically making it simple to find and store. I've had past plumbers write up receipts I couldn't understand. Cons: None yet. I'm so glad Clearwater Plumbers came highly recommended by many of my friends. As a new homeowner in the state of Texas, I really didn't know who to trust. We found Clearwater Plumbing on BuildZoom.com. Their score there puts them in the top percentile among Texan plumbing contractors. This was the first time we were relying on this website to help us decide who to hire but it made this entire process easier than expected. After confirming licensing and other details, we checked reviews, the BBB and decided to have them give us an estimate for a tank water heater replacement (fully permitted). They were in line with the going rate and use flat-fee pricing. They did not attempt to push the more expensive tankless system we thought was the only permittable installation in our use case. They could have. Instead their dispatched plumber, David H., went the extra mile to make sure a permit could be secured for us to continue using a tank water heater. He was readily available by iMessage and phone between initial dispatch and install to help us with pre-install details. All this was very much appreciated. David and apprentice Alex showed up, on time, the day of installation. They both took the time to address all our remaining questions (including David proudly showing his State of Texas plumbing license upon request and with a smile), and just plain did an excellent job. There too, they went the extra mile (including putting on masks) to ensure the old system was drained where we wanted prior to damage-free removal, and the new system was installed exactly as we preferred and to make maintenance easier. These two gentlemen's demeanor was such that we felt very comfortable discussing details with them while they worked. They clearly enjoy sharing their expertise and shared information that will come in handy for future maintenance of the new system. It was nice to see the two respecting and learning from each other. This level of professionalism and very pleasant attitudes are rare in our experience. As such, they deserve our highest recommendation. We also look forward to the included tune up (sediment removal) one year from the day of install, and know we can expect them to deliver on this or any future plumbing job we may entrust them with. We just finished with our service through ClearWater plumbing. What a great experience! When water from the washer started backing up and coming out from under our toilet we feared the worst. We have cast iron drain pipe under our 80yr old house and had been told by another plumber that they "could give up and collapse at any minute"... We worried that our minute was up last night. We called Clear Water and they sent us David and Matt. Due to past family issues with COVID, we take visitors through our own protocols, of taking temps, hand sanitizer and wearing masks. The plumbers were very understanding and gracious about that while they were here. David analyzed how our old plumbing is laid out and suggested a course of action that was far less expensive than we thought! The line jetting did in fact clear the clog and made the line flow far better than I expected. David and Matt also put their camera through all the drain lines affected and showed me all of it as they worked. They were able to show me that my old cast iron drain line is in fact, still fine, which removed one of those worries that keeps a homeowner awake at night. Eventually I know it will need replacing and David was courteous enough to give me an estimate and an explanation of what that would entail. Once they were done with the drain line they changed the old wax seal on the leaky toilet. Matt was very careful getting at and removing one rusted right bolt and he was very mindful of not making a mess when he carried the toilet out of the way for service. David and Matt were, on time, efficient, gracious and never attempted to upsell me into services my situation didn't call for. They were neat in their work and respectful of our home. Our service with Clear Water was affordable and was waaaaay less expensive than I feared. We bought a new house and almost every sink, tub, shower, ect was eclogues. 3 out of 4 toilets didn't work as well. I called clear water plumbers and they sent Victor over. He was very professional and virtuous. He knew more about plumbing than anyone I have ever talked to. He showed up within the time frame and I showed him all the problems. He immediately knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. He then went out to his truck and came back with an iPad that had all solutions with prices. I gave him the go ahead and he started working. As he went along a few things changed and the price went up. Before he did anything he came to get me and show me the reason why the price was going to go up and asked if I was ok with the additional work that was necessary to fix the issue. He also explained everything in depth(sometimes I didn't understand exactly what he was saying because he was speaking in "plumbers" language, but still I was very happy he took the time to explain the situation to me). I now know WAY more about plumbing than I ever wanted to. Lol Poor guy was here for hours on end because there were soooooo many issues, but once he was finally done he came to me with the final price. He then signed me up for a members program that was an initial $100 or something and it got me 10% off the overall price! It also gave me 10% off any future visits and they come out once a year to do an "inspection" at no cost to make sure the house is plumbing at 100%. This came in handy because one week later I had to call him back out and have him fix a different part of one toilet that had a leak whenever my kids would flush it and unclog one other sink we initially thought was just fine. All in all this is the best plumber I have ever had in my entire history of being a home owner(almost 8 years). I highly recommended them to anyone and will use in the future for all plumbing needs! I called plumbing companies For an estimate did a leak fixed in my front yard. One of them estimated $6500 and told me they would have to tear up my driveway to get from one side to the other to replace a pipe. The second one the estimate was $10,000. Even To a novice this didn't make sense because they did nothing to even find out where the leak was in the first place. I called Clearwater plumbers they sent out Evan D. the same day I called them. He saw my issue and Told me where he thought the leak was coming from that he would do an inspection to find out something the other plumbers had not done. I asked him to explain how he would do that but he did. There was a area Between my house and the corner of my driveway where the water was coming out that he believe the way to be. He gave me an estimate of $780. He asked me if it was OK to take out some of my hedges that were in the way he dug them out dug up the pipe showed me where it was broken explain to me what he would have to do to fix it. He did a great job he was very respectful of me as a homeowner and the customer I'm very appreciative of that. Then he cleaned up after himself he not only filled back in the dirt he dug up but he took the hedges away with him very impressive. Throughout the whole process he communicated with me clearly was respectful and professional. I got a phone call from the company shortly after he left ask him how he had done my first word was awesome. I took some of his cards to pass out something I normally would not do because he was so impressive in his work ethic. I appreciate being treated with respect and courtesy and the fact but he was willing to show me exactly where the leak was coming from and what he was fixing. Our hot water heater was 19 years old and dying a slow and painful death. We went from having hot water to water that was no better than luke warm in about a 2 week period. I was forced to take cold showers in the Army and was not having it. I looked online for a plumber that had a good rating and was lucky to find Clearwater. They earned every bit of their 5 stars. I called in one afternoon and scheduled an appointment for between 3 and 5 pm the next day. Paul, the tech, called me at 305pm to tell me he was on his way and about 20 minutes out. He showed up, was professional, thorough and didn't have a hint of the proverbial plumber's crack. He checked the water heater and our water pressure and gave me three strong options at very reasonable prices. After deciding just to replace the old piece of junk, he told me that he could be back out the next morning to do the job. The only hiccup we had was a call I received from Vic right after Paul left saying that they were booked solid the next day. Unfortunately we were leaving on a Spring Break trip that evening and wouldn't be back. Vic worked some sort of magic and was able to get Paul scheduled for the job the next day as promised. Paul and his apprentice showed up on time the next morning and were in and out in no time. They got me fixed, up to code and the hot water flowing again. I'm sure I could have paid someone a couple of bucks less to do the job but I wouldn't have received the level of service that I did. Clearwater Plumbers is now my go to for all of my plumbing needs. As a matter of fact, I'm going to have them back in a few months to add a water pressure booster to my system so that the hot water can literally just blast the dirt off of my kids. Thanks Paul. .I do not have enough room for my accolades for Clearwater. I use them personally and for clients several years now. First Class service , honest, committed, and knowledgeable. Show up when they say they will. Everyone says the customer is number one, but you feel like number Zero after you do business with them. Every time regardless of the professional they send, you get the same consistent service. They don't rush, they think , they look, they are going to figure out the problem and fix it , not put a band aid on it. They always present you with options, no pushing you to do all these little extras that add up to a fortune. They look for the most economical way to SOLVE the problem . I have gotten to the point of trust with them if they say I need it, or they tell my client they need it , I know it is true and the bill is not padded with extras. Love these people. Companies that have it together like these folks, deserve our business and we need more of them. My last comment : A job I used them for last year , I had two bids to replace and entire sprinkler system , leaks coming up in one large area of the yard. The only option per two companies, was replace the system entirely , no fix sprinkler system worn out. Both bids I got were over 2K .I did not think Clearwater could do anything to a sprinkler system but , I called them anyway . They said "Well we don't do sprinklers, but we can at least look at the leaks just to see what is going on. " Clearwater fixed it for $480.00 I did not NEED a new sprinkler system, and it is still working fine a year later. What else do I need to say? read more

I am NOW a ClearWater Plumbers customer for life based on my experience with Conner and Javier. These men were amazing and resolved an issue that another plumber had given me an $11K quote to repair...something that didn't even need to be repaired. It was simply an underground clog. Several weeks ago, I experienced a flood in my house, and I called another service. After they left, I was still clogged, $615.00 poorer, and held a quote for $10,900 to repair. About a week later I received the ClearWater flyer in the mail that indicated they would do a sewer pipe inspection at a discounted rate. I felt that this would be my perfect opportunity to see if I could get a better quote however when the plumbers (Conner and Javier) arrived they asked me questions that the first plumbing company never asked and further they went so far as to do work that the first plumbing company never did, which included removing my toilet to get to the source of the underground clog. Conner and Javier completed their work, and both were drenched in sweat, however they told me that contrary to what the first plumber had stated, there was not a break in the pipe simply a clog that had been accumulating for quite some time, they even took a video of what was happening under my house. My bill was another $570.00 but other than my pipe needing a cleaning to prevent future clogs my issue was now fixed. ClearWater Plumbers (after my payment to them) saved me around $10,300. If you're looking for a great plumber, look no further!! I had a rather unfortunate experience with another Fort Worth area plumber recently. I needed to have a broken toilet replaced, and the first plumber came out 3 times, and still didn't fix the issue (e.g. it leaked, was on shims with poorly placed caulking that was so badly done it didn't even dry over 24 hours, he installed it using the wrong wax seal which created the second leak, and he forgot to tighten down a bolt). He had also told me the plastic builder-grade valve would be a major job to replace, so we just left it as is. After the toilet started leaking just a few hours after the 3rd visit, I was done. Enter Cory Reeves from ClearWater Plumbers. He was fantastic!!! He spent a total of 3 hours at our house correcting the issues the first guy created, replaced our 2nd toilet (which had also broken in an unrelated incident to the first toilet), and replaced the plastic valves in both bathrooms with metal ones (as apparently the "major job" was just turning off the water main). In addition to actually resolving the issues, Cory took the time to explain the weirdness the other guy left, and answered some other unrelated questions regarding future bathroom renovations. We will ABSOLUTELY be calling ClearWater again and requesting Cory for our future plumbing needs! read more

Would give them 10 stars if there were such an option. This is the first time I use them. I had a leaking water heater at my rental property in Saginaw. They did a quick and quality job to replace it(thanks to the technician named Chris). Well if you think that's what every good plumbing company would do, what makes clearwater stand out is their follow up. My tenant called me again the other day claiming the there is a new leak with the new water heater. Chris went back to the property only to find out that it is due to something completely irrelevant to the job he did. But he just went on and fixed it. What's more? after I learned that I can return the old poor quality water heater to recover some of my loss, I called clearwater immediately wondering if I could get the old water heater back instead of having them dispose it. Belinda and Aaren, I believe, even figured out a plan and had a technician Gary directly delivered it to homedepot near my house in Frisco on his way to a job near by. Saved me a lot of time and effort to do all those by myself. Excellent job, excellent service! Clearwater Plumbers Awesome job! Paul C. From Clearwater Plumbers is amazing. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Our kitchen plumbing had to be replaced due to a rotted pipe. Another plumber told us we would have to move out while our kitchen was destroyed. This would have cost us an extra expense and the inconvenience of staying in a hotel for up to a month, not to mention having to replace floors and everything else when we came back home. Paul advised us a better option! His idea was to tunnel under our house. It was the best choice for my family and I. The whole process took a little over a week. The cost was $ 8610.00. I live in an older home on a pier and beam foundation. After nearly 60 years I experienced a serious water leak in the galvanized piping beneath the floor. I got a couple of bids for repair and settled on ClearWater to correct the problem. Jeremy and Anthony came out and surveyed the situation. I agreed that a complete re-piping of the whole water system was the best way to go. They started on the project on Thursday and completed it on Friday. They were amazing to watch as they worked together on a very difficult job with having to work beneath the floor with a very tight crawl space in almost 100 degree weather. They worked so well together as a team as they carried out this task. I found them both to be very knowledgeable. The job was completed in the estimated time that Jeremy predicted. I was very impressed with these two young men and the respect they showed each other as they worked together. We had a problem with our washing machine drain. We didn't really "have" a plumber we use on a regular basis, so I started looking. Clearwater was the fourth plumbing service I looked at. They are local and well rated. I've seen their trucks everywhere. I was able to schedule an appt within two days as this was not an emergency. They called back within an hour and said they could fit me in the same day. Cory & Vinnie arrived on time. They talked to me, got a clear understanding of what the problem was and got to work. The problem was resolved within an hour. They were fast, efficient, professional & courteous. We took care of the billing, then they suggested some services we might benefit from since we haven't really had to use a plumber in the 23 years we've owned our house. My sister and I noticed a leak in the master bedroom vanity sink. Well, this small leak turned to a steady flow of water. No ifs, ands or buts..we called Clearwater to do the job. I have called Clearwater before and have always been pleased with thier work and prices. Clearwater sent Evan and James who arrived punctual and immediately put on thier paper shoe shields before they stepped into our home. Very clean uniforms..polite and very professional. The biggest plus...honesty.It would have been a bandaid to just fix the leak and replace the faucets,but we decided to have them check the water heater too. So after Evanand James inspected the water heater..ee decided to replace it. It was over due to replace. It was full of sediment..turning our water dark. I've worked with several plumbers over the years - and have a top three in the DFW metroplex that are always acceptable. However Clearwater is THE A Team and recently proved it again. Upon replacing a kitchen fixture that had become weak with slow flow - they showed how it was clogged with galvanized pipe deterioration. This was also severely affecting my 25 year old water heater. We determined that to cure the issue, a pipe replacement with PEX was in order - as well as a new water heater. I had had the water heater replacement estimated by a friend from different firm a year or so earlier, so I was familiar with its ballpark costs. The estimate for the pipe replacement AND water heater were well within norms (and my budget), so we agreed on the work. They were efficient, informative and a delight to work with - and that's not always the case on a home that is just at 100 years old. read more

I saw many glowing referrals for this company on a Facebook neighborhood site. I called, and Corey came out to help us. HE IS AWESOME. So patient, informative, professional and he did a fantastic job on what we called them out for---our sewer line. He scoped it, showed and explained things to me, and then spent AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES cleaning it out. NO ONE has spent a THIRD of that time cleaning out our (long, tree-root infested) sewer line. He also told me how to fix some things on my own, and gave me some helpful tips. he was at my home for over four hours, diagnosing and evaluating other problems that we have. They (hopefully Corey) will be coming back out soon to make other repairs. I don't know if this company is considered "high" priced, but I would gladly pay for people who know what they are talking about and who do a good (great) thorough job. Thanks Corey! read more

I highly recommend ClearWater Plumbers. Their company has a great system where they send you the plumber's photo and some info before arrival so you know who to look for. I had a two hour window and when the previous jobs took less time than expected, they called to see if they could arrive earlier. I appreciated that they didn't just show up since I could have been running an errand - but I was home and appreciated the earlier time. David and Connor (new guy) were great! Polite and cheerful, they answered all my questions and gave me an estimate before beginning the work. I also joined their program where you pay $99 which includes cleaning out the water heater and a 10% discount on charges for the year. It can be hard to find good plumbers and a good company but I believe ClearWater has both. I trust them and know they do good work. read more
