Formerly the pool company, we have a 20-year-old fiberglass pool. The pool was a 2nd. The amount…read moreof cobalting, bubbles, cracked gel coat, and large amounts of chipping were and are extensive to this day. We looked in to getting a different pool, getting it repaired, getting it repaired by other companies, etc. There was never a good solution. We have had nothing but problems with this pool for 20 years. Within 1 year the salt cell went out, the slide they gave us broke within 2 weeks. Jerry said oh it must have been an old one from the back. It dry rotted and cracked into piecees. We removed it and where it was bolted into the concrete all cracked. It was installed un-leveled. Extremely poor concrete install without correct expansion joints. Every bit of concrete has broken, come off, lifted and this month we are paying $5,000 to have the concrete repaired, but not replaced, we cannot afford that. We inquired about having the pool removed permanently, however, the people who were interested did not want this pool because it was in such bad shape. They all said it was a second hand pool that should have never been installed. No one wanted this pool. We called Sutcliffe Pools, Hatteras Fiberglass Pools, and were continually told over the last 10 years, We are not in business anymore, You will have to check with your installer,etc. For a pool that should have lasted 50 to 75 years, no one took accountability. Having been around fiberglass pools my entire life with a fiberglass contractor at GlasTech, I know this pool is crap. Shame on you Sutcliffes, Pool Company, Leisure Pools, Hatteras Pools!

We paid him to install a new salt water system and cartridge filter for our pool nearly $2300. He stated there was a 2 year warranty on both with a 3 year on the cell for the salt system. He never provided us with the warranty info despite numerous requests. He also installed a light improperly and now we have a hole that is visible in the pool and damage to our brick pool deck that was the result of his negligence during installation. I have tried calling, texting and emailing but he is not responding. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I have several people who continued to get charged for pool cleaning that was never done....

What an amazing company…read more Let me explain my experience before Year Round and what led me to Year Round Pools - I arrived to my house, unannounced after rental season, and found my pool water cloudy, sand on the bottom and a leaky filter cap which the service guy ignored. I immediately called my previous pool company and they told me the water was not cloudy (it was me), a dirty bottom is normal and they tried to fix the cap with silicone and if that didn't work we might need a new filter. It didn't work and it would take 4 days to come back out to check it again. I immediately called Year Round Pools. They said somebody would come out, and would try next day but couldn't guarantee it as it was late in the day. Well, first thing the next morning, John came out and replaced a simple O ring that fixed the problem. He was efficient, helpful and took the time to explain and answer all our questions. That was it for me. I called Year Round back and asked for estimate for services. They came out the very next day, sent a quote and we signed up. That very day, they came out to test the water and lo and behold, it was cloudy because the previous company did not maintain the right chemicals (so I'm not crazy Ray). Mind you, I didn't mention the cloudy water to Year Round because my previous pool guy told me I didn't know what I was talking about. When Year Round got back to us, same day, with the issue, a quick Google search confirmed the issues they identified do indeed create cloudy water. So now it was confirmed. Now Year Round is fixing it. Their communication, customer service and expertise is exactly what I was looking for. I now have the confidence, whether I'm here or not, that I have professionals taking care of the pool proactively, efficiently and to the highest standards. I can't tell you the peace of mind it provides owners who are not always here. From maintenance, to service to customer service, I highly recommend Year Round Pools.
