I visited Cleveland Fingerprinting for the first time on Monday, 5 June 2023 for fingerprinting services. Whether you need your fingerprints done for a job (background check) or another reason, you can get it done at Cleveland Fingerprinting. I made my appointment online the day before and I received a phone call about 30 minutes later from the owner Janice who requested that I complete some preliminary paperwork and then email the paperwork back to her. APPOINTMENT PROCESS -- My appointment for one fingerprint card went well. It cost about $65. The whole process took approximately an hour and 45 minutes (which was long) because she did a practice fingerprint card for both my hands. While we did chat for a bit, we were chatting while I was being fingerprinted so the amount of time that I was there was still very long. After the practice session, I did my actual fingerprints on both my hands. She held my fingers as I pressed down unto the fingerprint card but sometimes she held my fingers too tight and it hurt me but I did speak out so it was fine in the end. The website mentions that the appointment for 1 fingerprint card should only take an hour (and in my opinion, it can actually be less than hour but everyone does things differently. I forgot that I actually needed 2 fingerprint cards so I came back 2 or 3 hours later to get another fingerprint card done. The 2nd time around, I was only there for about 35 minutes so this means that doing the full 10-finger practice fingerprint card takes time. For the future, I suggest to the owner to just do a practice run on about 2-3 fingers instead of all 10 fingers because otherwise, the client (me in this case) will be waiting for a long time to finish the appointment. Janice prides herself in being very precise in her work and while I haven't gotten the results back from my fingerprint yet (meaning - whether my prints were accepted or rejected), I'm sure the company I submitted them to will accept my prints. She works very thoroughly. EDIT -- My fingerprinting results came back and they were approved. I recommend Cleveland Fingerprinting for all your fingerprinting needs. Worst experience ever! I made an appointment on line and had emailed Janice Gibbs to reschedule because something came up with work. She said she would "allow" me to change it this time, but she doesn't normally allow it. She then sent me an email saying, "Due to your inability to keep your scheduled appointment. I will issue a one-time-only raincheck (WHICH WAS FALSE). So, please choose your next appointment day and time wisely. As a reminder, there are no refunds if you decide to not receive Cleveland Fingerprinting services." I went online to change the appointment and it said the date/time I wanted was unavailable. After numerous emails back and forth, I had to still go to the appointment because if not, she was going to charge me. She was very uncooperative and also proceeded to charge me twice! Did not perform service. Was rude. Did not give directions to office when we called. Told us to "Goggle it." Would not recommend.

Discriminatory behavior has no place in any business, as it not only alienates customers but also damages the reputation of the establishment. It is my sincere hope that the owner reconsiders their approach and adopts a more respectful demeanor towards all patrons. P.S. you can edit your impulsive comments or the name of the company as much as you want, but remember that you still insult your client all the way. Update 3/25/24 After I asked her to be more polite Janice Gibson told me to "seek therapist", that I am "obnoxious", etc. told me that that I discriminate her even though she is the one who is pointing on another person's nationality. This is the first time ever i see that the company instead of telling customers that they will DO better, just start insulting people, telling them that they are banned from the place. I love Cleveland Fingerprinting! I was a week from my start date and needed to submit two ink fingerprint cards to complete an out-of-state corporate new hire screening. The Cleveland Fingerprinting website was transparent and easy to use. I selected the exact services I needed, got the exact pricing, and scheduled a same-day appointment time. When I called to confirm the hours (it was after a holiday), Ms. J was so warm and understanding. I even showed up 30 minutes early and she didn't mind. Over the next hour, Ms. J made sure my cards were filled out correctly, explained the ink fingerprinting process, practiced with me to make sure I was comfortable, and then collected high-quality fingerprints. She made me feel cared for, and I really appreciate how kind, patient, thorough, and experienced she is. I wouldn't have gotten that level of customer service elsewhere. This organization did an excellent job with my fingerprints! I needed fingerprints for a new employment opportunity in another state and Ms. Gibbs took care of every step, including mailing my fingerprints to the required location. She was very helpful and responsive and handled the actual fingerinting with the attention the matter requires. She made the whole process very seamless and easy for me.
