I am so happy that Night Market is back this year. I really felt the void during its hiatus. The…read moreenergy itself of this event makes it worth trying. Wear comfortable shoes and come prepared for the experience. There are wall to wall vendors with a ton of people squeezing through the pathway. They have an area where live music is played. Food trucks are setup in this same area if you just need that. I say that because the restaurant vendors along the main walk more than satisfy any craving you could be having. There are stands with cocktails/beer and they even have a spiked bubble tea! Everything is really official. I will say bring cash. Some of the vendors take cards, and there are two ATMs that I counted, but they kept giving me error codes. It took multiple tries to get my actual cash. I'm not sure if this is the usual practice so beware. Parking was $10, but given the location free parking is definitely in walking distance. All in all a great time.

Why am I just getting out to Night Market?…read more Tips: BRING CASH Besides having no cash and walking half a mile to the nearest ATM, last night was a BLAST. So many booths of great product, food, and booze. So much Cleveland pride in one market. The food was mostly asian inspired, with the ocassional bakery. I found some cool stickers and magnets at Kay Em Apparel. Drank several Market Garden Brewery Octoberfests, and danced along to quality bands and even some hula inspired tunes. Yes, of course it was busy, but what do you expect? It's a quality market and anyone who likes a good time would get out to this place, especially since it's only 1 night a month! There's only one Night Market event left in September, and you better believe I'll be there!

Air show....... YES!!!! Makes me feel like a kid again. Okay, maybe I never grew up, that is…read morepossible, I won't debate about it. Anyways I bought tickets for the family being as they all have never been to an Air Show and I went every year to the Dayton Air Show as a kid, and loved every minute of it. Now it was a total surprise trip for the family so they had no clue about my intentions and where we were going. The Air Show is on the Burke Lakefront Airport which is small yet nice and big enough to host such an immense crowd of aircraft and people. So to start lets say bring cash. The parking lot is cash only, this was an issue we encountered when arriving and made for an unpleasant arrival, so note that and BRING CASH! Secondly, there is more than enough seating in lawn to bring your own chair(s) and walk around and not feel like someone will walk off with your seating. If you are looking to not spend a lot more, don't, bring your own chair(s) and sit in lawn. Thirdly, bring a solid camera! I had my 16mp camera phone and yeah, well the pictures are ok, they aren't great especially with objects moving over a 150 mph. This goes especially for fighter jets like the F35, F16 Falcons (Thunderbird's) or the F16 (Blue Angels) that often attend. Fourth, be ready to spend some money. The lake front does get windy and it can get chilly. So dress appropriately or be prepared to spend even more on attire you could have brought. Merchandise is costly here. Yes, will it is highly sought after by many for commemorative reasons, it is also highly inflated in price and hard to walk away from as well. Fifth, port-o-potty. Need I say more?? Might want to bring extras like hand sanitizer and other things you may feel appropriate for this. Sixth, this is an air show might want to bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and earplugs, or pay the consequences of not having any of the above. Now let me being with, HAVE FUN! That's easy right?..... Right it is, or should be anyways. We bought lawn seats, which I was skeptical at first but once there was happy with seating! The planes that were grounded we AWESOME! 2019 show was great! Our kids who all had no interest in airplanes before arriving loved every second of the air show, even our teenage daughter had a blast. I know amazing right, ha ha. I can say I have not been to one in years, and this made a hard to achieve goal of having such a great show yearly. An F35C did show up for 2019s show and made a nice first impression. I seek to see a F22 Raptor live, but know I may struggle with that one. The Thunderbird's and the Blue Angels do attend Cleveland's show quite often which 2019 was the Thunderbird's. Some of the hundreds of pictures I got while there are attached, sorry if any are blurry (hence the need for a better camera). Anyways, if you are reading this and consider going, do Nike's motto and, "Just do it!" You'll feel like a kid again, and love every second of it!!

While the Airshow is Top Notch!…read more We are scratching this venue off our list due to the absurd new rules! Pre- sale only tickets. Gates close at 2:30 p.m. No tents set up if it there is a rain delay! No in & out allowed. Just treated like cattle...money grab! Are coolers allowed? Confusing... Baking in the hot humid weather is not an enjoyable time especially for Seniors. Kudos to all of the Pilots, Support Crew and Staff that do all the Heavy Lifting for this Event. This used to be our must see destination. No thanks! N

There is a variety of seating and food stations spread throughout the arena. Getting your food doesn't take long and is quick. The availability of staff to help is abundant. Leg room in the seats is less in the upper bowl than the lower bowl. I'm 5'9" and in the upper bowl I have just enough room. They can improve by adding more escalators to and from the upper bowl. When leaving a Cavaliers game at the end of the game a long line forms to ride the escalators down. There are other ways down. The elevators are as crowded as. The stairs lead to outside and so those heading to Tower City via the walking bridge need to take the escalators unless they take the stairs, go outside, and then come back in the entrance by the stairs leading to the walking bridge. Also, the escalator that goes from the walking bridge to the arena is broken down a lot.

The tailgating scene there was a lot of fun. We parked in the municipal lot , which is located on the other side of the freeway from the stadium. Entry fee was fifty dollars , but with a carload of people , it makes it very reasonable. The party there was next level. People set up bars with couches , stripper poles, d j booths , and anything else you can think of. They get going way before game time. Alcohol is allowed in this lot. If you park in the lot associated with the stadium , alcohol is not allowed. I don't think grills are allowed either. But I'm not sure. Stadium is really decent also. Easy in and out the walk from the municipal lot takes about ten minutes and is not strenuous. Packers ended up losing the game and the fans were very nice about it. That's not always the case in other stadiums. I took at least 50 photos with opposing fans after the game. Rock and Roll hall of fame is also located right next to the stadium. If you're heading there for a game , you have to combine that with your visit. Pro football hall of fame is only an hour away. And also a really great experience. Appreciate the love and kindness shown by the people of Cleveland. GO PACK GO!!!!!

Ready for a HORROR STORY that makes one wonder what happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more In October 2013, I received delivery of a steel cabinet from the manufacturer (Pucel Enterprises, Inc., of Cleveland, Ohio). After the driver left, I unraveled the shrink wrap and the cardboard covering the corners and top of the cabinet and noticed that the interior of the cabinet was extensively scratched up and the top of the cabinet (above the doors was bent in such a manner that the cabinet was a loss) and could not be used. I immediately contacted the local shipping company (who delivered the item) and informed them of the damage and they told me they would be happy to pick up the damaged cabinet but they needed authorization from Pucel or the firm that I purchased the cabinet from. I called Pucel and they told me, not their problem, contact the firm I purchased it from. Since that time, I have spoken with several companies that do cross country shipping and they have told me that, THIS MATTER IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SHIPPER. To date, Pucel has sent me ONE can of touch-up paint and told me that that was ALL they were going to do and to pay the vendor and enjoy the cabinet. They also told me that calling them directly was not going to resolve this matter as they were not the responsible party and have no obligation or interest in this matter. Pucel personnel then stressed that they will not replace the NON-useable, damaged cabinet (still sitting in my sitting in my back yard). The vendor has attempted to help me resolve the matter by ATTEMPTING to have Pucel authorize picking up the old cabinet but of course, no action to date. Terrible customer service, don't care about the customer, don't bother us (from Pucel) and they have the nerve to tell me to pay for a damaged, non-useable item. CRAPPY response from a business that uses the punch line, family owned and operated!!
