They were confident their Zeiss lab -- in Kentucky or Germany -- could handle it, and they were absolutely right. I chose a pair of fantastic blue frames that really complement my face and style. For years my lenses have been thick, but Eye Candy was able to use 1.74 glass lenses that are the thinnest I've ever had. Based on my experience, they may just have low expectations. The service levels I've received from Abrams Eye Center are mostly rushed, them acting as though I should be happy that I'm being given the time of day. I spent significant time with an assistant, who never introduced himself, or told me what he was doing. When the Dr. did arrive, the explanation of issues with my eyes were dismissive, as though any serious issues that might have been identified, were nothing to worry about. Overall, not a fun thing when you only get one set of eyes. Additionally, I'm not much impressed with their lack of callbacks. I got a trial pair of contacts, but it's been my responsibility to call them, and tell them how I liked them. When I called them again to try to get a different set of contacts, they merely told me they would let the contact fitters know I wasn't happy with what I had. No information on what I might like, no timing they would get back to me. I'll have to see if I can get time to get there to talk to the actual contact fitter, but it's clear the work here is mine to do (and I have to pay them for the privilege).

It's very clean and organized and they make good use of the space they have. Dr. Good is very personable and thorough with his exams and his staff is super friendly and accommodating! They have a vast variety of glasses frames on display, so you shouldn't have a problem finding something you like. They do offer a nice selection of Oakley frames if you want to be fancy. Prescription sunglasses are available as well. Their website is great! You can check your account statements and prescriptions, and schedule appointments too. You can also order your contacts through the website and it lists all the prices so you can comparison shop if you wish. You can setup email and text appointment reminders which I find very helpful. Posting this for both the westlake and lakewood office…read more After a months long saga I finally have a functional pair of glasses. It started out at their Lakewood location when I got my first pair of glasses that broke almost immediately. Fine. We reorder a new pair. I go in 3 weeks later to check in on the contacts. They haven't even reordered the glasses. So we try this again. Get the glasses 4 weeks later but they break again. Request a brand new pair. Have to go to their Westlake office with larger selection. Charge me $50 for a "refitting" despite the fact they sold me crappy glasses. Wait another month for the new glasses. I call the Westlake office a month later and they apparently just came in and "are here for pickup." Go to the Westlake office and find out they are actually at the Lakewood office. At the Lakewood office and they say their opticians are very busy and we will need time to adjust the frames. By this point, my whole afternoon has been shot. I explain to the person that I am pretty frustrated after having been at this for over an hour and if they can get to things quicker. See on the opticians desk that the lady at the front desk messaged her on teams saying I needed a refitting and had a "huge attitude." Some of these things were not their fault. A lot of them are. I will not be coming back next year.
