I had an annual eye appointment today with Dr. Jasleen Kaur. It was very wonderful I could schedule appointments clearly online, and the system worked well and gave you the right amount of reminders. I love that they have Saturday times so you don't have to take off of work if you don't want to (and probably good for kids). Without a doubt this is where I will be going for all my future eye appointments. Dr. Kaur did a wonderful job; I feel like eye doctor appointments the way most people feel about dentist appointments. But Dr. Kaur made it so easy and relaxing, simple and lovely. I read the Yelp reviews before going to this location and when I got there I realized that they are completely accurate. Debbie, Leanna and Sue all took so much time with me and provided the kind of customer service that I haven't encountered in a long time. They are also very good at their jobs and at working together - they cultivate a really positive environment in which to choose glasses, which can be a trying experience. When considering different frames, they were able to give me very specific and knowledgeable feedback to help me make a good choice. The frame selection was also excellent and current with many reasonably priced and stylish options. Would go back there for glasses again before anywhere else. read more

LeAnn did an amazing job for me. She was so nice when she sold me my glasses. Then when my toddlers messed up the screw she fixed it for me very quickly and efficiently. I was so happy to wear them for the wedding I was going to. After quickly fixing them she apologized it took so long. I was very impressed with her effort and service. read more

In October I purchased contact lenses at Target and was so impressed with the level patience and professionalism shown to me by Leanna, I decided to make Target my new home for eyewear. On 12/28/21 I visited Target Optical at 6:30 pm and they were closed although the signage outside of the store clearly stated the hours of operation were from 10am-8PM. On 12/29/21 at noon, I returned. Upon observing the store to be very crowded I decided to leave and return later in the day. Prior to returning I called and spoke with Leanne, who advised that the store would be open until 8pm. After explaining that my prescription was already on file and I only needed to pick out a pair of frames, Leanna suggested that I get to there no later than 7PM. Upon arriving at about 6:50PM I was greeted by a woman who later identified herself as "Sue". Upon arrival, I was the only customer in the store (there were two employees). Upon inquiring about men's frames she quickly pointed out the locations and hurriedly returned to what she was doing. After ten minutes or so I inquired as to whether or not I had come at a bad time. Not catching the subtle hint, suggesting service, "Sue" responded by providing an excuse about so many people having seen the doctor, as if that justified her total disregard for my presence and carried on with her task. "Sue" was so blatantly inattentive to me as a customer that she failed to explain that the glasses I had tried on were to be placed aside as a sanitary measure. It was only after trying on and returning several frames that I inquired about the box that glasses are to be placed in after having been tried on. The customer service that I received from "Sue" was in total contrast to that provided by Leanna, which is what initially prompted my return for further service. The level of customer service provided by "Sue" was sub par to say the very least. Perhaps she had a bad day, perhaps I didn't appear customer service worthy or just maybe perhaps...... "Sue" reserves her valuable time or postpones paperwork for "certain customers". Prior to leaving the store I advised that I require more assistance than what was than was being offered (none) as I'm unaccustomed to being ignored/unassisted when choosing eyewear. I guess if you want prompt, professional and unbiased service at Target Optical you should come through the door with checkbook/cash in hand for a better outcome, as the level of professionalism depends on whos working. I finally had my first eye exam, and Dr. Jasleen Kaur made it a great experience. I was able to do a walk-in and be seen within 10 minutes. The staff was great and personable. My experience was amazing thanks to Leanna and Maria. They were very knowledgeable. Dr Kaur charged me extra for my eye exam, she was not as knowledgeable as the ladies in the front office regarding insurance. I overheard Dr Kaur telling another young woman the price would be lower than I was charged for a regular exam without insurance. She informed me that my eye exam would be higher than the price she gave another client. She claimed she was giving me $20 off because of my insurance, but the price was still higher than I've ever paid. The entire experience with Dr Kaur left me uneasy. Leanna and Maria worked very hard to correct the price and ensure I was not overcharged. I would recommend the front office ladies anyday! read more

The staff never ordered my reading glasses. My insurance covers a free pair of reading glasses Target Optical University Heights will over charge for eyeglasses and not explain more affordable options and insurance coverage. read more

Customer service and eye health care is top notch! Le'anna was so helpful in helping me choose new frames, Dr. Dove was extremely thorough, explaining each step of the process, I didn't feel rushed in any way.
