I met Dr. A when he first joined Dr. N and liked him as a Dr. immediately. I have stuck with him and will continue to because of the thoroughness of the care I get there. This practice doesn't miss a beat. He has the latest equipment and his staff functions like a well oiled machine. I've had a couple of emergency type issues and they saw me immediately. Those who would complain about a little extra wait time on occasion should realize it might be because others are getting the same great care you will be getting when your turn comes and great care takes time. On June 20th I came in for a followup checkup from Cataract Surgery. My husband was with me and had a very very red right eye. Dr. Alessio looked at my husband's eye and suggested he see himself or Dr. Clemans. Dr. Clemans was able to fit my husband in right away rather than waiting until the end of the day to see Dr. Alessio. Dr. Clemans got my husband on the road to recovery with steroids and an appointment with Retina Associates of Cleveland for the next day. While the overall atmosphere can feel a bit rushed at times, I did feel that Dr. Alessio was more patient and thorough in his explanation of my exams. I had 2 appointments close together, the first of which was somewhat of an emergency, and I was able to get an appointment 4 days from when I called. I have always felt that Dr. Alessio's exams were extremely thorough, and these were no exception. I have been going to Dr. Alessio for a few years now for glaucoma which he has under control. I have never had one thing even remotely bad to say about his staff or himself. Never had a problem with wait time. Everyone is very friendly at the office. Dr. Alessio took time and explained my condition and answered all my questions. Good care, but expect a 2 hour wait from your scheduled appointment. I even scheduled an 8:30 appointment (3rd of the day) and didn't see the doctor until 10:30. What a joke!! read more
