This office is now known as " Creekside endodontics." I was sent here by the VA for a root canal. Communications was very good considering my appointment. They wanted me to come in on February 2, but I couldn't make it that day, they were able to get me in the very next day. The first person I saw, was Lisa in the front office. Very friendly, very helpful, she had me fill out the forms on a computer, instead of the old-fashioned on paper. If I had any questions, she was right there to answer them for me. Doctor Wong's assistant, Vanessa, then came to take me back to the room. I was nervous as heck, but she was very understanding. We did the x-rays, and then I was taken back to the treatment room. I asked if nitrous oxide was available, because I was extremely nervous. I've always been a little "Denta - phobic." she checked, but unfortunately, it wasn't covered by the VA. Fortunately, I had my phone with music on it. Dr. Wong comes in, and explains exactly what's going to happen, he could tell I was extremely nervous, but again, he was very understanding and very patient. He made sure I was totally numbed up. When I got into the chair, they not only gave me a pillow under my legs, but they also gave me one for my head. They made sure I was very comfortable. I put on some easy listening, music, my hearing aids, have a Bluetooth so I could listen to the music, and they went to work. The procedure went extremely well. He told me that I would be in the chair for about an hour, but it didn't seem like that at all. I must've actually fallen asleep in the chair, it went so well. Fortunately, they gave me a bite block, so I didn't have to worry about my mouth closing. Lol. Before I knew it, we were done. The doctor explained the aftercare to me, they gave me a sheet of paper on what to expect, and I was out the door. I was in the office for a total of about two hours, but again it didn't seem like that at all. Everybody was friendly, helpful, patient, and understanding. I was petrified of needing a root canal and I was pleasantly surprised that I was asleep the whole time! No pain!!

Let me put it this way......the only thing that I got from my Dad was his bad teeth and his big feet so the first thing I do when I move to a new area is find the best Endodontist I can. I have lived in the Roseville/Rocklin area for about 8 years and have had 21/2 root canals all performed by Dr. Wong and all successful. I say 21/2 because as the Dr. was working on one tooth he told me that he couldn't save it and it needed to be replaced. That is a different subject (implant which I have had several) for another time. It was good that he told me because he could have worked on the tooth longer and charged more and it would not have turned out well. I have had 2 Endodontists in the S.F. Bay area and 1 in Southern California so unfortunately I have had a lot of experience in this area and I can tell you that Dr. Wong is at the top of my Endo. list. Like others have said the office staff is just great and the assistants to the Dr. could not be better. When the Dr. is working on you the assistants know exactly what to do before the Dr. makes his next move. If you must see an Endo. I was very impressed with Dr. Wong and all his staff. Like most people, I have anxiety going to the dentist. Dr. Wong was gentle and very skilled in the procedures I had done. Dr. Wong and his staff were amazing and reduced my anxiety to make my visits as pleasant as possible. I actually look forward to going back for other procedures. I felt comfortable that I was in good hands. In fact, I didn't feel like I had a mouth full of fingers and dental instruments, rather gentle and so very skillful that I wondered if he was actually working on my teeth at times. A good experience. Dr. Wong and his assistant were very informative and talked with me about the questions I had. They provided me with the most comfort as possible such as a pillow for my knees, offered a blanket, provided soothing fragrant oil during the procedure which helped so much. I had a root canal by dr.wong last week with local anesthesia and it went well. I had minimal pain after the procedure I didn't even need to take motrin at all. His office staff are attentive and caring. I highly recommend his office its the best experience I've had for a root canal. read more

I went to Dr. Wong because he is "in network" for CIGNA insurance. My experience was excellent. Pain free root canal and excellent staff.

Can't say enough about Dr. Wong. I have a VERY difficult time getting numb. Most dentists just want me to power through the pain. NOT Dr. Wong. He spent so much time getting me numb. After each injection of novacaine, which I DID NOT even feel, he checked to see if the tooth was numb. He didn't even begin the procedure until I no longer felt any sensation in my tooth. He did this by testing with a cold substance, not drilling. I used IV sedation the first time I saw Dr. Wong. However, the second time that was not an option due to scheduling. Yesterday, I only used an oral sedative and did great. NO pain from start to finish (numbing included.) Simply put, Dr. Wong is a Master at his trade! read more

Outstanding. Perfectly outstanding. I told Dr. Wong that he would have to seriously drug me to get me through my first root canal. I am embarrassed to admit I woke myself up twice by snoring. I am terrified of dentists. Never a single moment of pain, I was sufficiently stoned to not care, everyone was professional and understanding. Outstanding! I found Dr Wong randomly after i had a botched root canal. Dr Wong is awesome. He fixed my root canal, he is genuinely concerned about his patients and a great guy. A week ago today, I had a root canal at Dr. Wong's office, with an IV sedation administered by Dr. Fisher. I have to say this was the best dental experience I've ever had; from an extremely efficient, helpful, and friendly staff, to an amazing dentist who explained everything so I could understand it, to Dr. Fisher who helped ease my stress level; it was overall the best dental experience I've ever had. To this date, one week later, i literally have had no pain or discomfort, not even one Tylenol. The practice Clifford Wong is very patient friendly. From initially walking in to the time you leave you are treated with courtesy and respect. Your comfort and ease is their top priority. The work I had done was painless and Dr. Wong is definitely a pro. He shakes your hand upon first meeting and again when you leave. My dentist felt my tooth was likely lost and was doubtful an endodontist would be able to fix it and told me to see an oral surgeon for an implant. I really did not want an implant and saw Dr Wong. The staff and Dr Wong are very nice, knowledgeable, and accommodating. His office is supplied with modern equipment and Dr Wong is extremely skilled and was able to save my tooth! I am a 250 lb baby when it comes to my mouth and I had to visit Dr Wong for my first root canal. Painless. The nicest office I have ever been to! The reception area is clean and well decorated. The office staff is extremely friendly. They were able to get me an appointment the day after I called, which is unheard of given the holidays. I arrived early and they took me back early to a massage chair with a wonderful ocean painting to look at. I wasn't there long and was taken to an exam area. The assistant and doctor were very friendly and helpful. They allowed me to pay cash (as I have no insurance until 1/1) and knocked the price down. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, especially given the excruciating tooth pain! read more

Barbara is great. But Dr. Wong is fantastic. He has a super gentle touch. When he first did an xray of my tooth he thought I only had 4 roots. They quoted me a price. Well I had 5 roots and had to come back an extra time to get the last one out. He did not charge me for that extra visit. read more
