I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted which, at this stage in life, seemed like it could be pretty troublesome. Dr, Antrobus took the time to explain how the procedure would be performed, the estimated time for it to be done (30 minutes in my case) and what to expect afterwards. Day of surgery, I chose to get a local anesthetic rather than be sedated which was an excellent decision. During the procedure he explained what he was doing, what to expect and, before I knew it, the tooth was out! I can honestly say, I've had fillings/root canals that took longer. Within 24 hours, the healing had progressed to where I had zero pain (in my case) by he second day following the procedure. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Antrobus to anyone without hesitation. Very Disappointed After Years of Loyalty! I've trusted this doctor for years, taking all 3 of my kids for multiple surgeries and referring several families. Sadly, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing. After a terrible morning where my daughter's cat passed away, we called to say we were running late for her 8:00 a.m. surgery but on the way .We arrived at exactly 8:15, only to be called when I was parking , to be told we were too late ! We drove there for nothing and they had no compassion or flexibility, despite her having situation that needed to be treated right and despite our history with the office. No follow-up, no empathy, no appreciation for our loyalty. It became clear that patient care was no longer a priority. Luckily our dentist helped us immediately find new surgeon & squeezed us in for next week . Im so grateful to our dentist & their staff - who actually shows they care. I wouldn't trust Dr Antrobus office with my children again. I waited before posting this in hopes maybe I would get a call or some kind of care but sadly I didn't . I was referred to Dr. Antrobus by my regular dentist and I can now see why! Excellent service and such an easy process the whole way through. I had my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 at the same time, ouch haha) a few weeks ago and the care I received from the entire staff was top tier. My surgery went very smooth, aftercare was explained thoroughly, and billing was a very simple process. I was also quoted and paid a pretty low price, so that was a very nice bonus as I expected to pay much more. Post op follow up appt was optional and I opted out initially as I thought my recovery would be easy. I was wrong (sadly haha), and in some pretty good pain still about a week post op, which isn't super typical for WT removal. I made a quick phone call to the office and was scheduled the very next day for a follow up just to make sure no dry socket or anything awry was happening. I was reassured everything looked good and just needed to give it some more time. Thankfully now I feel great - just harder healing process because I'm "old" to be getting my WT out ;) I should mention that aftercare (visits, meds, etc) post op was included in the price of the treatment. I was urged by all staff to come back if/when needed and it was nice to feel like I wasn't being burdensome. I even got a check in the mail for a refund for part of my treatment because my insurance covered more than anticipated - really refreshing to see such honest bookkeeping! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Antrobus, he is wonderful. He answers any and all questions and really makes patients feel comfortable. I would come back for any further oral surgery needs! read more

Not only Dr.Antrobus is a fantastic person but his staffs are amazing, too. His staffs Hunter and Jessica (sorry I don't remember all the names) are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is another review on here where someone gave Dr Antrobus one star and I'm pretty sure that guy is absolutely CRAZY ( especially because he wasn't present for any of what he's reviewing.... if you met Dr A, you would not think that he is even capable of yelling. He is so calm and sweet and treats his patients with so much care). My wife had her wisdom teeth out last week and he has been soooo attentive, compassionate and cool. I honestly thought I would have been in more pain and super swollen as my siblings had a bad experience (they went to a different surgeon). My recovery has been easy I've been able to eat many foods. Dr Antrobus is a saint. I wish he was my regular doctor. This man has been so amazing. I've been in so much pain because my teeth were partly obstructed. My pain level is high but Dr. Antrobus has done everything in his power to make me comfortable from giving me new meds, seeing me daily in his office, calling me, and being so patient, kind and compassionate. Never have I had this kind of care before by anyone who practices medicine. I am shocked and appalled that anyone would leave a bad review. Wow! If I could give him more stars I would. I was absolutely terrified to be getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. I panicked for months about it. I had my appointment yesterday and Dr. Antrobus and his assistant Jan made me feel so comfortable since I was practically in tears. They let my boyfriend stay in the room with us until they injected the IV fluids which was so sweet! Dr. Antrobus was so careful and gentle with me throughout this whole process. Since I had the IV sedation, the only thing I remember was him telling me the medication was in and I'll start to feel like I'm floating then I woke up. I felt completely normal after waking up. Definitely not like the people you see Facebook videos of who cause a huge scene. Overall, quick surgery and I can tell the healing processes will be quick as well. Today I'm feeling better. Just kinda swollen and sore from yesterday. I can't be more thankful to have such an amazing oral surgeon and his team who actually cares and takes great care of you!! Dr Antrobus removed my son's wisdom teeth and did a great job. He checked on my son by phone afterwards a couple times, and when he had a reaction to the medication, was spot on in helping him out. Office staff seemed very nice, although very busy, but still took the time to answer our questions. I recently decided to get oral implants, 3 of them. One of lower right, one upper right and one lower left. Dr. Antrobus was very thorough and explained the entire procedure, as I had opted to stay awake through the process. Dr. Antrobus and his excellent staff took excellent care of me and managed my pain levels throughout the process. Dr. Antrobus took the time to call and personally see how I was doing. Just a little update on this review! Experience was still awesome, but I did have a secondary insurance that I was told would be billed that day to see if they could cover anything my primary doesn't. I understand insurance takes a bit so I waited a few months and called to check the status a few times. I finally got through today and nobody filed the claim. This frustrated me because I had been waiting to see if I would get anything back. The lady on the phone who helped me seems concerned and apologetic and assured me she would get right on it. I've only made one visit to this office but wouldn't hesitate to go back. Nobody wants to go to the dentist, but there's a couple of things we all look for. First, you want to be treated well and made to feel important. Second, you want to know the work done is quality and you won't be left with pain, etc. Lastly, you want to know the follow up care is available to you and the bill won't ruin your kid's Christmas. I found Dr. A. to be very relaxed, competent and willing to take the time to explain everything. Furthermore, it's kind of a 'no frills' office so you don't feel like the overhead is so high you'll be charged twice the price. I thought Dr. A. did a terrific job walking me through the procedure and made his recommendation without making me feel there weren't other options. Finally, I overheard part of a conversation with another patient in the office... which might ordinarily concern me about privacy. However, what was more important to me is how detailed and patient he was with the prospective client. Frankly, I would not have been as patient. read more

With limits on insurance for the year, the office staff was able to work with me and our insurance company to ensure we were getting the most out of our coverage...clearly explaining options and coverage. 1st surgery nervousness over and done with minimal recovery time for my son and even received a follow up call from the dentist that evening to check on how my son was doing! Dr Antrobus is awesome!!! If I could give him 10 stars I would. I just recently got all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I was very nervous about it. DR Antrobus was very accommodating and made me feel comfortable with the procedure. And the good news, it didn't even hurt and I didn't even swell! I took a Valium and went with the laughing gas. I HATE going to the dentist of anything that deals with my teeth for that matter. So, I was extremely nervous when I had to get all 4 my wisdom teeth pulled. I had a couple consultations with places my dentist suggested but was referred by a coworker here. Dr. Antrobus and his staff including Amber, Liz, Emily, etc. were all amazing, and so nice! Dr. Antrobus even called me the night of my surgery from his personal cell phone to make sure I was okay and to see if I had any questions. Now that's what I call customer service!!
