Alway in stock, very personable, great prices, and exclusive liquor. I'm a forever customer.

Excellent craft beer selection. They have some uncommon breweries like equilibrium and Steve Austin's beer (El Segundo brewing). Be prepared to open up the wallet. Beer prices are very high here...

These guys get 5 stars for me. The place is big, brand new its clean, has a great selection of beer, wine and liquor at reasonable prices. It's located right next to Staples and stop and shop and there's a huge parking spot right in front. They also have tastings at times as they did today with wine which helps with being introduced to new products Happy yelping Yelpers!!!!!

Can't wait to pop this open!

Walked in and browsed for about 10 mins. They have a very large selection of wine and spirits. Their beer selection is A+! Customer service isn't great. I would rate customer service at 1 star . No one greeted me when I walked in although there was no other customers in the store. No one ever asked me if I needed help (as said before I was walking around for 10 mins). The store itself had stock ladders and boxes in the aisles although there wasn't a person stocking the shelves. It was about 3:30 in the afternoon when I visited. I assume the shelves would be stocked early opening or during closing... Not when customers are coming in and out ( the aisles are on the narrow side). Nice store though. I will visit again very soon. I hope they fix the small issues they have. Great selection of stuff!

    A $24.99 bottle selling for $100 - what a joke!

If you want to get ripped off come to this store. They sell everything at 5-10x retails price. The problem is some guy with eventually come pay it and they will continue to price gauge customers. A $99 dollar bottle was selling for $900 and his reason was he has to buy a lot of other things to get that bottle! That's how allocation distribution works! Why not raffle them at retail for regular customers to show appreciation not overcharge loyal customers. I'm done shopping at this store, don't waste your money lots of cheaper options close by.

This place has a great selection whether you are looking for beer, wine, or anything else. Another huge plus is their fair prices.

STILLLLLLLL my favorite super market chain by far…read more We're frequenters of the Stew Leonard's in Paramus and have probably been there more times than we can count. We decided to drop by this relatively new location on a random Saturday in Clifton since we were nearby ... and it's safe to say that this one is as good as any. On the day that we went, samples were being given out everywhere we turned. We couldn't avoid a sample station if we tried! There were so many samples that my wife and I wondered why we even had lunch prior as we could have had a WHOLE MEAL there! Anyhow, having been open for about a year (as of May 2025), this Stew Leonard's is as brand spankin' new as it gets. Like the Stew's in Paramus, I love how everything is so neat and organized. In addition, I love that they lead you through their supermarket with a one way pathway instead of it being like the wild west like other supermarkets. If you've been to a Stew's, they have all of your favorites here - including the ever so aromatic bakery section which always smells like deliciously soft and fresh donuts. If you're craving cooked foods on the fly, there is also a buffet, made to order pizza and sushi. The major highlight here for most people, especially kids (and myself), is the ICE CREAM PARLOR near the entrance. There, you will find some of the best soft serve ice cream your tastebuds ever had - in many flavors I might add. I did have a few gripes, but they were mostly minor. First, the dining area for those who want to grab a seat to eat at was a bit on the tiny side with just a few tables. Also, the curb of the supermarket outside was also small. The moment you walk out of the supermarket you're literally on the road, so you've got to hold onto those kids to prevent them from getting run over. If you've never been to a Stew's you're in for a real treat because you'll probably want to buy everything. If you've frequented a Stew's before, then everything you've come to know and love about Stew's can be found right here in Clifton.

It's in the seafood section as you make your way through the aisles, and it was actually made fresh. The roll was warm, buttery, and pillowy. The lobster wasn't the freshest honestly, the texture was slightly off for some bites, and portion-wise, it's definitely less than the posts were showing on social media. The roll itself is smaller than your average but it's still not bad for ~$16. I wish they added a pickle or side of chips/fries with it to make it a better deal. We ended with a Small Vanilla Yogurt Cone which surprisingly blew me away! It didn't have that tart taste you would expect with vanilla yogurt at all. It was so creamy, rich, with just the right amount of sweetness. Love coming here!

My first experience with Total Wines was over in West Orange…read more Then I started to cheat on West Orange with their River Edge location. Now, once again, I find myself straying... sorry River Edge but Totowa's making me weak in the knees. Lots of aisles. Lots of product on those shelves. Lots of space between the rows so you and your fellow shoppers aren't at risk of bumping into each other with your carts. If you've been to a Total Wines before - you know how it goes... they're usually the size of an old Toys R Us but aimed at adults looking to waste, I mean spend, money on booze (or cigars, which seem to have a serious fanbase the few times I've been here). I've found some new/unique imported beers as well as a few interesting organic wines at this location that I never saw at their other stores. [Every Total Wines location is a bit of a drive for me but worth the mileage.]

I spoke with a manager named Melissa and I don't want to be negative, so I'll just say she did not seem to take the issue seriously. I would not have made this review, because the cashier could just be having a bad day and it's okay not to like me. But a bad manager needs feedback for the good of the store and to do better for future customers. This isn't mentioning that we ended up switching lines to this rude cashier because the other cashier didn't let us know that she was waiting for a customer to return to pay while his family held up the line. This is not abnormal, but I do regret switching lines, but I regret visiting here more. I will say that the people in the store that asked if I needed help were very nice. And the gentleman in central customer service area was quick to help when I asked for a manager. Perhaps some of them deserve a promotion. They have a very wide selection, but I find the prices to be just a little higher than other big beverage stores in the area. Especially this other chain that is a barn full of good service and cheaper prices for the items I get. This is the first Total Wine that I've found such casual rudeness and divisiveness. What a stain on the brand this location is.
