Wretched news...downgrading......screwed up the band on a Victorinox because they did not have authorized parts but they don't TELL YOU that they are cobbling together parts from other crappy makers...had the watch and fixed, out it on IN the store, it dropped right off........ Tommy Bahama waterproof watch, cracked the crystal while waiting on the Victorinox and what did they do? they certainly didn't get a TB crystal...they ground down the circumference of a crystal that was about a third as thick as the original crystal so the circumference fit then tried to pass it off as good as new..uhh the thickness was for the water pressure dips.......no go no mo read more

My husbands watch was dropped off in December, we were told a few days and it would be fixed, we went back a few days later and the shop was closed. It is now March and the shop has not been open since. Please reopen so I can get my husbands watch! read more

Very friendly small local shop. Kind of hard to see from the street until you get right there since it's tucked away in the corner. Just look for the burger place and it's right next door. This shop is awful. Incompetent and unreliable. Their voicemail even instructs you to not leave a message because they don't have access to listen to them! I left my watch in December of 2018. "Two weeks" she said. I attempted to call in February 2019 for a status as I work out of town. Which is when I realized I couldn't leave a message. Stopped by. She couldn't find my $1000 watch for about 15 min. When she finally located it, she said it had a short and the part was on back order. She said once it came in, I'd be a couple of days to make sure it was keeping time. Finally after 4 months, I was tired of waiting and not getting a call to come get it. I was going to get my watch even if it wasn't fixed. Miraculously it was ready for me to pick up when I got there. Only $25! Too good to be true because it was. She didn't fix anything. And apparently I got charged for her incompetence while I was at it. They don't even deserve a 1 Star review. I guess the owner at Clifton's doesn't think you know how long she's had your watch since her watch is probably broken too. For the record, my watch was repairable. I took it to A Better Time on S Western and had my watch back within the two weeks as promised. The part that needed was indeed on backorder and the gentleman at A Better Time did a great job of keeping me informed on the status through completion when my watch was fully repaired. read more

Beyond frusterating. I trusted this establishment due to how long they've been in business. Upon dropping 5 watches off for new batteries and 1 new faceplate, no timeframe was communicated as to when they would be finished. I thought to myself, surely replacing batteries and one plate won't be too taxing for them. Showed up one week later and was told the faceplate was arriving later that afternoon and to come back that evening or Saturday. I returned the NEXT Thursday to pick everything up on my lunch break, and ending up waiting 10 minutes for him to find the bag of watches, and an additional 10 minutes because they were still waiting on the faceplate to arrive- which turned out to be the wrong plate all together. The woman argued with me that it wasn't in yet and corrected me on her so called timeframe on when she claims they would be finished. I then told her it was a flat plate that needed to be replaced, not the dome face that she said was being shipped in from Kanas. Luckily I was there to confirm that she was incorrect or I would've waited another week only to have the wrong glass. The man then put the correct plate on (who knows how long they had had it) after another 20 minutes. THEN, after paying, I went through the bag to put one of the watches on as I returned to work-35 minutes late- and the watch band was not re-assembled correctly. The screws weren't even in place to clasp it. I wish I had the energy/time/patience to return and say all of this in person, but I will never step foot in that place again. I will certainly be steering people away from taking their watches there to avoid the same experience I had. Unorganized, unprofessional, and offensive customer service. read more

Great service!!! Took my watch to CNS in Penn Square and was quoted $150 to service...not repair...service my watch and determine from there what was wrong with it. I had a hunch that this place was going to be good, so I took my watch to Clifton's and within a few minutes he determined the problem was a damaged coil. He quoted me $25 to replace the coil plus a new battery. Came back a few hours later and he said he was able to repair the damaged coil, and including the battery, my bill was $12. I couldn't believe it. I am so happy I found this place. CNS was my go to watch place. Not anymore. Clifton's is the new family watch repair clinic. Thank you!!!! read more

I needed a battery and spring bar. I drove around to other general merchandise stores that didn't have the battery or spring bar that fit. I found Cliftons Watch Hospital. They had the parts, knew what they were doing, had parts in and out with no problem. I won't waste my time driving around any more. Fair warning - hours are limited so plan around those, and you should be as satisfied as I was. read more

I took my expensive Tag Heuer watch in for service and repair and was told it would be 2 to 4 weeks before it could be repaired, which was fine. 7 months later my watch had still not been repaired! I was made promise after promise for months that it was "just about ready" and I finally picked it up, still not repaired. It was put back together but not working. Owner just shrugged and said "sorry." When I took it to BC Clark, the part that Clifton's was supposed to have replaced had not been replaced. VERY poor service, unreasonable delays and numerous broken promises. They also rarely answered the phone and were often closed for "illness" when I went out of my way to go to the shop multiple times to check on the progress of my watch. read more

Dropped by Clifton's Watch Hospital due to a wristwatch that stopped ticking. The shop is tucked into a corner of the shopping center between the baseball card shop and Ron's Hamburgers. There are no signs you can see on top of the building but its there. When I showed him my watch, he actually opened and started working on it on the spot. Decided it was a dead battery and replaced it. Took less than 5 minutes and only cost me $8. I was totally impressed with his service that he offered that it inspired me to write a great review for him here on Yelp. I will take all my watches to Clifton's for repair/maintenance and will send all my referrals to him as well. Great work Clifton!!!! read more

Cliff does amazing work! I take all my watches to him and he never disappoints. He works on clocks as well, but I usually go in to have my automatic wastes serviced and tuned. His rates are dirt cheap too! read more

This is probably one of the worst service I have witnessed! I dropped off my watch in November and it is now October! No progress has been made on the watch as everytime I called in they give me the same update for the past 11 months and promise that it will be done in 2 weeks. I voiced my frustration about getting the watch repaired and returned to me and they promised to call back. They never called back. I don't know what their capabilities for watch repair but as customer service I've got to say is the worst read more

Super nice people. I took in an antique pocket watch I bought on eBay It ran for one day and stopped. Took it to another repair shop and waited six months. It ran two hours and stopped. Took it to Cliftons Watch Hospital and he immediately opened it, made the repair, and charged a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back. read more
