Felix and Jose replaced the fallen baffles, air sealed everything, created a dam for the attic hatch to maximize the insulation around the hatch, brought our blow-in insulation up to R-49, and took pictures of their finished work. The degree difference is now just 3 degrees, and much more comfortable. To top it off, Felix gave me a ring about a month later to see how the insulation was performing, and will stop by to make some very minor improvements around the attic hatch that I would not have demanded or expected. So I give them all the credit for being amazing professionals who go above and beyond. I'd say I did plenty of research, and can recommend Zion Insulators without hesitation. Thanks again!

Warning sign #3 - Hal then informed me that the light on his phone wasn't working well and asked if I had a flashlight he could borrow. After supplying Hal the items needed he finished and gave me an estimate. Afterwards I had several questions and tried to reach Pride Insulation. I left several voice mail and email messages. No response. Finally, I left a deserved review on Yelp and quickly received a call from Hal (Pride Insulation). Hal said that this review would hurt their business and asked if there was anything he could do to help the situation. I explained that I had called and sent email and had no response. And if this is how they treat a potential customer image what kind of response you would get if there were problems once the job was finished. Hal agreed to work and correct the problems. We agreed for him to do the work on Monday February 27, 2017. I paid him 50% after he argued that he usually gets 100% of the money up front! Hal then said he would call me the next day to set up the insulation install. So I waited all day Tuesday. All day Wednesday. All day Thursday. No call. Tonight, Thursday evening I called Hal and canceled any insulation install and requested a refund of the deposit. Be careful doing business with any insulation company that: (1) Arrives late with no call. (2) Doesn't have a ladder. (3) Needs to borrow a flashlight. (4) Won't return phone calls or email. (5) Asks for 100% deposit. (6) Doesn't do what they say they will do.

As for the job itself (garbage disposal replacement) the service tech tried to unjam the old one first (which would have saved me money) but came to the conclusion the old one was toast. Installed a new one quickly and cleanly. Price was exactly as quoted. As he was boxing his tools I asked if White Glove did any water quality testing and explained a problem I suspect I have on my supply line. He offered to take a sample on the spot that would be sent off to a lab. He quoted me a price and said I could pay in a week when the sample came back. How much more could I ask for?
