I'm unbelievably furious. My sister, her friend, and I all camped out for twenty one pilots from 4pm - 8am outside the venue. Not to mention 80 other people who waited as early as Saturday. We were 50th, 51st, and 59th in line - we were clean and respectful and orderly. The entire group was. This morning we all cleaned up our things and lined up in the order that we arrived outside, waiting for security. One of the line leaders talked to a security guard who said he would honor our line. Shortly after, security announced that they would be starting the line in the opposite side of the venue with the people who showed up at 8:00. if any of us ran forward, we'd be denied a wristband altogether. It turned into one bug randomized cluster of FIVE HUNDRED people, most of us in too much shock to do anything. Not only is that unreasonable, it's NOT safe. It's a stampede of HUNDREDS of now pissed off fans trying to fight to the front of the "line." It would have been incredibly easy to start at the top of the line in the order that we were respectfully standing and move down to the end. The website said that they would be passing out wristbands at 8am but that we could camp outside as long as it wasn't on legal venue grounds. Like I said, this morning security even confirmed an hour before that they would honor our line. At previous shows, this has been the case. We all had numbered wristbands that the line leaders took careful notes of to ensure everyone was in fair spots, especially those that slept on the sidewalk. They were SO organized. They stayed up almost all night if not entirely to make sure things were fair and that we were respectful of not only the venue, but the security guards and other employees too. A large majority of people that showed up at 8am and wouldn't honor the line had been sending death threats and violent messages to those of us who committed to waiting. When at the venue, they cussed out several of us in the line ahead. The fact that they got in before the rest of us is cruel. We were bumped from our spots in 50th and 59th, to 181st and 182nd. On top of all of this, last year when we went to icy tour, we had assigned seats that we couldn't find. Security got us lost for FORTY FIVE minutes sending us in the wrong direction to find them. We missed the opening band and the first four songs from twenty one pilots. Our overall experience at this venue and with this staff has been hell. We've been to 30+ concerts in various venues over the years, Climate Pledge has consistently been the absolute worst experience My sister and I planned to line up to camp outside primarily because she needs the barricade to lean on. She recently has been diagnosed with health issues, things that we didn't know when we bought the tickets. So we did EVERYTHING we could to ensure she would have that spot. They're her favorite band and mine. Beyond the fact that we were cheated out of our spots, I'm FURIOUS that she won't have what she needs. I fought for this spot so fucking hard. There are no words. The staff at Climate Pledge is the best. Sound system could be better. We made a mistake with our tickets on Tuesday which was sad. Tried to buy wheelchair tickets today since I am disabled and Ticketmaster app wouldn't cooperate. Called Climate Pledge directly and Ryan M. came to the rescue! So upbeat and pleasant!!! He put us on hold and stepped out for a bit and told us he think he had it fixed. Voila!!! Thanks to Ryan M I will be going to see Pearl Jam tonight despite my limitations. He made it happen and we couldn't be more grateful. Looking forward to seeing the welcoming and helpful staff at the Arena tonight. It means a lot to us. Double Ryan's pay!!! And fix the sound system. Lesser known bands don't have the sound crews to overcome it. congrats on hiring great staff! read more

Looks amazing inside and out. Went here for a concert and was impressed by sound. Line for food and alcohol was quick especially with contactless payment being used. Get here early to enjoy all the venue has to offer! I tried the kraken fries for the first time it was spicy and delicious! Prices for food and drinks are comparable to other venues I've been to but the quality is hard to beat. Can't wait for next visit read more

It isn't the worst place, but it's just really big. Parking can be $40+ in any lots or garages. There are lots of free street parking around this area. You need to make sure you have a very small bag and security will not let you in if it's too big. The point you to lockers down the street. The top level seating is a little scary (it seems so steep and high) but the seats are decent- wide, comfortable, and have decent leg room compared to many of the theaters in Seattle. No matter where you sit you have a decent view of the stage and/or the monitors. The acoustics are good. Drinks are very expensive - water is like $8 a bottle. Alcoholic beverages are $18+. If you go prepared for all of these things you will have a good experience. Always lots of nice staff available to help you find your seats... or to kick people out of your seats :). read more

Update to my previous review: The guest services team reached out to me and were able to help me address my concern. They got the information of the staff member and they said they're going to connect with them to discuss the policies that they have in place as they do allow medical bags. They also let me know that someone from guest services can always be requested to come and assist in events like this. They followed up very quickly and were very helpful. read more

We go to climate pledge arena quite often, mostly for concerts and occasionally for sports. This is not a review of the actual entertainment, but the food and facilities. When you go to the arena for sports, there are a few decent food choices, but not that many and it is often a long walk to find one place you might actually want, where there is inevitably a tiny menu. My memory of the Key Arena is dim, but the food options here seem higher quality but way too limited to be useful. Our plan is to eat elsewhere. One time we had sports tickets for the VIP buffet option, and that was pretty great. But those tickets were also pricey, and that option is only for sports as far as we can tell. Soft drink options are very limited. There are very few bottled sodas, replicated everywhere, or you can waste a lot of money on a refillable cup. When you go for a concert instead of sports, things are much worse. Many, often most of the food places are closed, without any clear sign on the website, so it is impossible to know what limited choice you will have. The actual view in the arena is great and it is a good environment to watch things. But stay away from the food! read more

It's a nice arena, just don't buy seats in row B in the 100's. The folks in front of us in Row A like to lean forward over the railing to get a good view, this completely blocks your view. Tickets aren't cheap, to see the play you end up watching the screen too much. You can do that at home for free. The ushers were sympathetic but under staffed to deal with it. So go, enjoy the arena, and the hockey, just stay away from row B read more

Went to the Kraken's game. A lot of fun! The Arena is amazing! Really liked all the glass windows, gives it an open feeling and walking around you can see below. So many options on where to eat and what to eat. I ate at Hempler's and my Duck Confit Loaded Fries were fantastic! They were fresh, made right in front of me! An extra bonus...it was nice seeing the Seattle Police Officers around. There where no transits' to harass the fans. Let's Go KRAKENS!!! read more

I try not to be that person and even though the game was great, a little more consistency with the employees would be much appreciated. I understand the clear bag policy and honestly spaced it, but asking a gentleman outside once we got on the property, he said it would be fine just searched. This was a small fanny pack, barely bigger than the reference set on the table. The screener, don't know her name, but she was young with fake eyelashes, told me my bag could not come in the facility and had me throw it away and try to pocket all of my belongings. They tell you to return it to your car, but let's be honest no one is parked nearby. (We took the train.) After throwing away my fanny pack I walk by the next entrance, where I see the screener allowing the same type of bag, if not bigger in with no issues. If you don't allow bags in than accept NONE. Not give the workers the choice to be a hard ass about it or not. Really frustrated me right off the bat of something that was supposed to be a good time. read more

First time here and I'm torn, the arena itself is nicely done, great combination of wood and steel, very nice. Staff is very helpful and friendly. That's where it ends... seats are below airline size and quality, I'm 5.7 and I'm hitting the seat in front of me. My husband is a lot more uncomfortable, not sure how tall people can sit here at all? I hope for him the seat next to him stays empty or we need a hobbit there... $8 for a Pepsi, $12 for a small slice of pizza, $16 burgers or beer (+tax)... ouch! I'm glad we don't do hockey, can't phantom paying those prices in those crappy seats. Sorry my legs are cramping up and I'm not even through the 1st band, I'm getting annoyed. There needs to be the best bands ever coming to get me back in those seats. I was so hoping this would be the best arena in the state, not so much. read more

The venue was nice, the hired security were bordeline thieves and the guest services useless. We were not allowed to bring 80's style light up plastic glasses, a costume jewelry type belt that was metal and open rings all around and a fanny pack that was measured wrong where they included the colored straps. The location to leave the items were at some Hotel so we basically had to toss the items in the trash. The guest services person was surprised about the belt and I took many pictures of other patrons with other light up stuff in the stands along with other packs that were same size or larger than mine was. The security team is easy to point out as the location was at the PRESS door and away from the other entry sites. The guest service "manager" said she would check on it and text me. I wasn't convinced that would happen and it still hasn't happened. With the price of tickets to go to these concerts, this is ridiculous behavior and it feels like security was stocking up on their christmas shopping! There were 5 women in my group all dressed up like 80's and obviously not a threat, to include my 77 year old mom. I think we can do better. I live in Vancouver WA and purposely did not buy the Portland concert thinking Seattle would be better experience. I was wrong. $600 in tickets, $500 in hotel and food/drink costs and the cost of our dignity and items forfeited to security. . . priceless. read more

Went to Janet Jackson's last concert on her "Together Again" tour here and it was a great venue. There were multiple entrances so the lines weren't that long. We did not have to climb a lot stairs to get to our section which was toward the top. The bathrooms were easy to find and were very close to our seats. Parking around the arena was ridiculous with some lots charging $60, but luckily my friend and I got dropped off. read more

CPA is not the most ADA friendly environment if you're walking disabled. There were no elevators/escalators to get to the top floor. We had expensive tickets for the 4th tier, which was advertised as tier 2. The metal railing obstruction meant leaning forward to see over the edge to watch the entire field of play from our nosebleed seats. The seats themselves were packed in closer than most airline seats and thus not comfortable for taller folks. You also had to have the appropriate app to get overpriced snacks or drinks at several of the kiosk/stands. The staff were friendly enough but not helpful in giving directions in their own building. The name is climate pledge but our first beers had three disposable containers. Chaotic first night from the arena. Staff was unable to direct us to the proper entrance for floor tickets. They kept saying the northwest entrance but apparently it was the west-north entrance on the north side not the northwest entrance on the west side, which no one could explain. Vaccine screening was nearly nonexistent. They made you download an app and then no one checked any of the QR codes to verify when you entered. They just said "show me the green screen" After finally getting in the arena it took the fourth person that we spoke with to figure out how to even get downstairs. When we asked where the stairs were several people on staff responded with "That's a good question" Check out was not contactless. We had to bring our beers up to the counter and then a staff member opened them and poured them for us and we cashed out with a regular debit card reader. Also to be noted the official Kraken IPA is larger than the 16 ounce plastic pint glass that it must be served in. Patrons were told to "chug the rest" or throw it away as they were unable to take cans onto the floor. Once downstairs they made us pour out our beers into a different third container; even though our beers had already been poured into a secondary container from the can at the bar. Climate pledge in name, definitely not in application. There was no food served on the general admission floor level, so be warned. Also the only way to reach the ground floor was by using an elevator, no staircase was available. Again climate pledge in name not in application. As people spilled beers there were no safety signs for wet floors available for staff to use and there were no lit or clearly marked emergency exits. When we left, the floor was littered with trash because they were only two garbage cans for the general admission floor area. They were overflowing before the main act began. No security at all. People were vaping and smoking wherever they wanted. Major issues with signage inside the arena as far as accessibility and restrooms. They didn't even bother to put up the Seattle Storm championship banners or have any indication that a professional WNBA team has played there for decades. Foo Fighters played great but this isn't a review of the Foo Fighters. Monorail was backed up all the way through the Seattle Armory with hundreds of people waiting past midnight to attempt to get on. If the plan was for people to take the light rail back to North Gate after taking the monorail it will take them hours. Hope that there's no overtime when the Kraken play. Overall experience from the arena is an F not even a D minus. We chatted with a worker waiting for the bus who let us know that the staff was minimally trained about the facility and that some people knew where elevators, stairs and bathrooms were and some people didn't. read more

Came here for the Odezsa concert and this arena was larger than I thought! Our sitting area had a lot of accommodations such as bar, gelato bar. The person serving us Gelato was either high or tired because we asked for a flavor and he told us it's not there even though it's there. Other than that, had a blast at the concert. read more

I got to go to my first Kraken game at the newly renovated Climate Pledge Arena and I wasn't disappointed. First off it is the first carbon neutral arena which should make a lot of Seattlelites very happy. There are so many choices for food and drink, but I will get into those individually in my next reviews. There is a wall made with plants that is beautiful. You definitely want to find it while walking around and do a photo op there. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful pointing out the main gear shop so I could pick up a commemorative hockey puck. I highly recommend going to see a sporting event or a concert in this beautiful arena. Have fun. read more

Would be a great place if they had a proper hvac system or deodorizer so it didn't smell like fish....

High prices, and poor management, with draconian entry rules. Place is decent enough, but they are completely overpriced and have kind of poor communication. Plus they won't let you get things that you leave in the stadium. Seats are uncomfortable but serviceable. The fish fry station filled the arena with fish smell and stink up the place. And $22 (including tax) for a cheap beer seems a bit high, even for this type of venue. Basically they throw out your stuff on entry, and refuse to let you enter even if the event is still running. read more

We were in Seattle for a day and wanted to see the Arena and all its changes. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Climate Pledge Arena. Our tour guide was amazing - she was engaging and enthusiastic. The arena itself has some wonderful attributes and experiences. They have taken a lot of thought and time when remodeling and considering the performers. It was a very unique experience. It has so many secrets and up-to-date experiences. read more

The sound in this arena is amazing! Over the years, I've been to a lot of arenas and this one puts them to shame. The first carbon-neutral venue and it collects rain water and makes it into the ice for the rink. The planet will thank them. I do think that most show prices (along with concessions) are a bit steep but you kinda get what THEY paid for...$1.2 billion in renovations. I myself will chose to pay a little more for events and snacks! read more

Arena is cool, small enough that pretty much any seat is close enough. I'm a tall person so the floor seats for a recent concert weren't a bother but partner not so much. The sides seats would be my preference if I wanted to enjoy a concert without having some tall/wide person blocking my view if I was shorter. How to get there? : Never been there we tried the Westlake center in Downtown and to take the Monorail straight to the Science Center which is about 4 minutes walking from station. Unfortunately the garage we went to (advised on the site) closes at 8 pm, there is another but drove around the block looking for it and found Pacific Place, used there parking, they close at 2am, and it was only 8 bucks for a few hours of parking. The Monorail was a block over. read more

Well it was fun it started with the first usher who directed us too ticket resolution, I struggle with failed back surgery syndrome, and herniated discs . Ticket Resolution took very good care of us, but the ushers where we sat , were so suspicious, like if I wasn't in a wheelchair how could I have a disability?Eventually the usher warmed up after inspecting my tickets like the police . But when we left the ushers tried too tell us we were holding them up from leaving we were the last people inside. Really as people are putting things away all around us , very rude. Ushers gets clue , you get paid , no 2 people were holding you up from leaving after a hockey game get a life . read more

Went to see Tom Segura last night. I haven't been to this venue before but probably never will ever again. For an event that was supposedly a record for attendance or sales, the crowd management and entry into the arena was terrible and basically non-existent. The doors only opened an hour before the show, and it wound up taking me almost an entire hour to get in the building. There was no direction from security or staff, so people would just cut into lines where ever they felt like it to get in. It seemed incredibly understaffed and the guards at the entrance seemed like they were fighting for their lives just to get through their shift due to overwhelm. People were still coming in steadily their seats almost an hour after the show was supposed to start. The openers came on about a half hour-45 minutes late--couldn't say for sure since the cell phone policy is ridiculous and I had stashed my phone since I didn't want to risk being bounced after spending so long just getting inside. I saw exactly 1 person who seemed to be a CPA employee and she was nice enough. I was able to find my seat easily enough. However, these were the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in at a venue. I'm a whopping 5'3" and my knees were bunched up to my chest due to no leg room. The man sitting next to me was spread all over me because he was over 6' tall and basically had nowhere to put himself. If I was uncomfortable at my height, I can't imagine how uncomfortable it had to be for someone taller. I was in a significant amount of pain in my back, hips, and legs from being bunched up the whole time. I cosign all the other complaints about food/beverage prices, but it's to be expected. The selections were also extremely limited. read more

If you ever go to a show or concert DO NOT BUY Summit Box level seats. I went to the Tom Segura show and the audio was completely unintelligible for the entire show. Could not make out a single word that was said. Everyone in the boxes straight up left the show. Guest services or Ticketmaster will not give you a refund. read more

HEADS UP: THIS IS A LONG REVIEW REGARDING ACCESSIBLE WHEELCHAIR SEATING EXPERIENCE AT CLIMATE PLEDGE ARENA This concert was my mom's first concert she ever attended so she was very excited about it. She is mentally and physically disabled, with the right half of her body paralyzed, so she is in a wheelchair. I purchaseD accessible seating for her (and my sister and I to sit with her), and found great tickets that were in close viewing of the stage and accessible so she can sit in her wheelchair easily. When we first arrived to the Arena, we were in the accessible line, and when we got to the front of the line, a staff member told me that my mom could go through and that my sister and I would have to leave her and to go another line and wait in line again. I am supervised by the state to look after mom my due to her mental capacity, so having her leave my site was not going to work. I had to pled that they let us stay with my mom, and they we're very rude and kept telling us no; finally a manager saw what was happening and helped us out so I could stay with her (she was very nice). When it came time to going to our seating (within the Symetra Club), We walked in and there was a lady that was helping people find seats so I should her my tickets and asked her to she could let us know where our seats were. She said that we are at the High booth chairs (which are are at least 4 feet tall and if you put a wheelchair by it then they won't be able to see over the counter). I proceeded to let her know that we bought accessible seating so my mom can sit in her wheelchair and she said the high seats are the accessible seating and that we would need to lift my mom into a high booth chair and go give her wheelchair to guest services on another floorr. Keep in mind, my mom isn't the lightest of people and was so embarrassed when she heard that we have to try to lift her in one of these chairs. I showed the lady my tickets again and asked if she can really confirm as it didn't feel right; and she and anther male staff member looked at it and said yes we need sit in the high bar chairs. My sister, myself, and a stranger had to try to lift my mom out of her wheel chair and into the high chair, which she was extremely uncomfortable with and already ruined her night by. Then i had to try to get the staff to let me keep the wheelchair near by because i don't know how my mom can go to the bathroom during the event if guest services has her wheelchair. LUCKILY, we would a place that I can put it. About 30 minutes into the show, I started walking around the Symetra Club Area, and realized that 200 feet to the left, there were accessible seating, and our 3 seats that i purchased were there empty. The staff had put us in the wrong seats that weren't accessible and had bad viewing of the stage. I double checked the row and seat numbers and those accessible seats were indeed our seats. We ended up picking my mom up and putting her back in the chair and going to the accessible seats that I found; but because we had to go through that whole ordeal, the concert wasn't as enjoyable as we had hoped it to be as were were all stressed and on edge. The Arena is beautiful, and there were some really nice staff we met as well; but the experience as a whole for a disabled woman was a disaster and I hate that that experience was my moms first concert experience. I hope one day the staff can be more well trained on where accessible seats are actually located, and what to do/not to do with trying to help out a disabled person. read more

Totally worth the discount event tickets on Goldstar. Hadn't been since it was Key Arena (which I will always refer to it as because honestly "Climate Pledge" is a mouthful of self-congratulatory obnoxiousness), and am impressed with the upgrades. Remember how awful the sound was? It's better! Disappointed that many food kiosks were closed on our visit (maybe they're open for sporting events and not concerts?), and vegetarian options are still few and far between (unless you like Impossible burgers which are everywhere -- the whole main floor smelled like burgers). Also, maps and signage could have been better, especially since staff were clueless and not very friendly. Seats are comfortable (note: I'm 5'4" so taller people may have differing opinions regarding legroom), and view of the stage from the way-back 100-level was good, but I was glad to have my warm jacket in the frigid arena. Special thanks to complimentary tampons in the ladies room. I wouldn't hesitate to attend future shows and events here. read more

Came to this venue for a couple of events, and it was pretty impressive. There are a lot of food vendors, bars, Amazon go stations, clean restrooms, and very helpful staff members. There are many entrances followed by a security check, which are ran very well. You will need to show your vax card and ID. There is garage parking available on site. Prices will vary depending on the event. There is self parking or complimentary valet. They will ask you to put on your hazard lights if you choose self parking so the staff will know. Just remember to turn them off. I saw many cars that forgot. Lot parking nearby is also available if you are able to find one. The elevators are large too, so a good number of people can get in at once. Prices for food and drinks are expected to be higher than normal at any arena. Example: Life Water is $7 for a bottle, Aquafina is $5, beer or wine averages about $15. I've seen people grab popcorn, chicken tenders, pretzels, garlic fries, and even ice cream here. The seats are arranged so everyone has a pretty good view. The first show I came to see, the sound system was great. My group was towards the back and heard every joke. The second show, there were a lot of complaints about the audio. It was harder to hear, and I'm not sure why no one fixed it. I know there were some complaints as the group in front of me went to tell someone. As for the seats, they're still small and feels crowded. Knees will touch, and whenever someone decides they need to excuse themselves, you will have to stand up so they can get through. This is surely an upgrade from the previous Key arena and wouldn't mind coming back for more events! read more

I'm sure CPA is lovely and amazing, but I wouldn't know because I prepaid for parking and that situation was a complete cluster-bleep. I've lived abroad and been to more than a few concerts. Other locations have parking signs, detour signs and often someone directing traffic at major intersections. CPA did none of these things for The always packed Trans Siberian Orchestra performance last Sat., except for the lone guy directly in front of the garage entrance. We should have had 30 min to spare.Instead, s a result of the direct road to parking being barricaded from the direct entrance, we drove around the center and arrived at our prepaid parking almost an hour into the show and were then turned away, along with a LONG line of people both ahead and behind us, and told that the lot was full. At this point, nearby lots were full and the whole experience was pretty miserable. Given that the parking is on site, CPA either oversold parking or felt that those who'd paid could just figure it out, pay for more parking and maybe catch part of the show before leaving with the massive crowd. Not cool. So, plan on circling around and look for closest parking. DO NOT PREPAY or you might miss your show. read more
