The Laser Dome is something every local should check out at least once. I think I have been going here since I was a teenager. It's a good way to spend an hour with some friends when you are looking for something to do in and around the Seattle Center. You don't have to be visiting the Pacific Science Center to use this but it is located inside their gates. The shows change often so you may have to wait until they are playing something with music you enjoy. There are usually multiple options per week, you can also view the calendar online. My last visit was 15$ each and easy to book online in advance, no more waiting in long lines in the cold for late night shows. For those that don't know you do have the option to lay on the floor and look up at the dome. Smart people bring pillows and blankets, but you can make due with nothing if you forget. There are chairs too if that is not your thing, but I imagine it would hurt your neck after awhile. They sell snacks. There is access to bathrooms. It was a little hard to tell what the DJ was saying, but that part really is not that important.

I saw Laser Taylor Swift a few weeks ago at the Laser Dome and it was fantastic! I'm a huge Swiftie and was so impressed by the whole production. They played songs from every album and it seemed like a lot of care was put into the laser production for each song. Love Story and Look What You Made Me Do were especially memorable and my personal faves. Music is a little loud so I would recommend bringing earplugs just in case. Parking can also be difficult so definitely factor in some time for that as well. They have a small concessions stand when you walk in for snacks and drinks, and some people brought picnic blankets. My friend and I arrived just before the show started so all the floor space was unfortunately taken, but we still had a great experience from the chairs! Also - you can purchase tickets online in advance to skip the line! Definitely worth the trip if you're a fan of a particular artist. Can't wait to see more shows here in the future!

SO much fun! Went with my mom to the Beyoncé show and was thoroughly entertained. It's very relaxing and a chill night out, while not staying at home. Highly recommend on a rainy day and will be checking out other shows. I took so many videos.

Very cool. In addition to the regular schedule check out the monthly one-time offerings. We really enjoyed Soundgarden last month.

We found a spot on the floor, spread out our blankets, and watched beams of light dance to the music of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon.

Came for the opening of this shiny new spot yesterday. A gorgeous 3,000 square foot event space that was completely remodeled: with in house catering, vendors, event planners, photo booths, musician! And the food. It was like going to a super fun wedding minus the formality of it. The owner was there as well: super passionate and shared the story of how she bought this space sight unseen: took a long process in turning this into a gorgeous space that it is now. It was super cool! And the food!! They allow outside catering too but the in-house catering: Kaspar catering : baos topped with micro greens and mint. Steamed to serve! Poke rolls :delicious! Panna cotta : in a cup! Lisa Dupar catering: this one was fantastic as I've had a chance to taste their food in the past at a wedding. The gorgeous cupcakes, macarons, molasses cookies and stunning cake. All were so pretty! Mark ryan wine! I mean, what's not to love as it's one of the wineries I frequent in Woodinville wine country. My pup baci's favorite too. Luxe Photo Booth: this one was so fun! The 360 Photo Booth!! I've seen them in Time Squares recently as well as at a valentines event. But this one was so much more fun as I didn't have to wait in line or fight the crowd for it. The person that was running it was super friendly and helpful too. The jazz musician was pretty rad too. And they had valet!! Butler Valet: All the friendly guys in uniform waiting for you as you arrived during rush hour in downtown: pretty darn cool. All events should be this cool. I'm only going to events with valet from now on! Ok thanks. Overall, this was such a fun place.I came to check out the space: left with all the food and fun.The space, the team, the design, the music!! And that Photo Booth: all are essential part of throwing an epic event. All events should be this fun!! I guess they will be if you throw them here: weddings, birthdays, corporate events, sweet 16th. I wouldn't mind coming here for a photoshoot: hello contents!!Or just a fun anything event.Did I mention the views?? Ahh the possibilities!!!

The experience exceeded my expectations, specifically for exceptional service! As we walked in the door, the hostess was super friendly. We sat at the large high-top table with the fire pit nearest to the hostess stand with a view of the water. Our server, Amber, consistently went above and beyond and carried herself with a bubbly and positive aura. She guided our selections of fries, fish tacos, salmon mousse, and tuna poke bites and frequently checked on us to make sure we were doing okay. Amber was also very professional and polite when she cleared plates and dropped off the drinks and food. Speaking of the food, every dish had great presentation. I wouldn't say the taste was out of the world but everything was still good and worth the price. The two hours we spent there flew by and by the time we decided to wrap up, all three of us were commenting on the great service (which led me to write this review). As a final gesture of hospitality by the restaurant, the hostess let my mom keep the bar purse hook that was given to her to hang her purse. I will definitely come back here the next time I'm in Seattle.

We had the chance to photograph a summer wedding there, and I was absolutely blown away by the space, the staff, and the overall experience. The couple we worked with had gotten engaged in Paris and wanted their wedding to reflect that romantic, European flair. The Ruins, with its opulent, maximalist style and stunning hand-painted ballroom, was the perfect fit. Every room felt like stepping into a different storybook, and the attention to detail in the decor made for the most magical, photo-ready moments. Their guests were wow'd at every turn--it was truly an experience, not just an event. From a vendor perspective, the staff couldn't have been better. Friendly, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. The on-site coordinator, Ruby, is a total gem! Even when a few minor hiccups popped up (as they always do), she handled everything with grace and efficiency, keeping the day running smoothly and stress-free for everyone involved. If you're a couple looking for a unique, visually rich venue that feels intimate, whimsical, and timeless all at once--The Ruins is it. He made some useful recommendations as to where I should have my tables and accommodated all of my guests upon entry. During the day of my event, David, who was one of the VIP hosts was so generous to connect with me and allowed me to be first to enter the main floor upon opening. David and my servers, Natalie and Blossom were so respectful and kind - they truly helped make my special celebration a memorable one. I'm so happy to see the successes and growth of Vue since they've opened in 2018. Their security team was also very kind! Steve who has been there for years, I believe, introduced himself to me and then there was another sir who saw that I was standing on a stool to record an performance and he later came by to carefully help me down without ask.
