Head to service call this morning and though they didn't promise to come out same day to fix it, they did promise a zero fee quote. I had them come out with my fingers crossed and within five minutes, they were able to diagnose the issue. Jacob was on time and inspected our air conditioning unit. As a bone marrow transplant patient, with no immunity system...he recommended an air conditioning scrubber that eliminates allergens, viruses, and bacteria from the house. He showed us pictures of the mold that was growing in our unit due to humidity. Fortunately, our home is only 3 years old and the mold has not spread into the ducts! T he scrubber will kill that mold! We decided to have it installed and Jacob and his assistant did so quickly and quietly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]He texted pictures of the completed project.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Jacob is coming back in 2 weeks to change out our filter! The annual inspection for both air conditioning and heating system is less than $100! I highly recommended Climate Services of Texas! read more

Yesterday we had a minor power outage...then our thermostat (one of three) ceased to work. After some time with Honeywell tech service they suggested I call the person that installed it. I did and my friends came to my rescue (same day) and determined it was simply a breaker ... they did NOT even want to charge me with a service call!!!! I insisted and their fee was most reasonable! I hired this company to service my AC line. At first there was some miscommunication and misunderstanding with the person setting the appt., let's just say I was a bit frustrated with them. They were patient, professional and understanding the whole time. I spoke with the owner and everything got taken care of. They exceeded my expectations and provided a great service. I love to support local and small businesses, as I have one of my own and I feel customer service either makes you or breaks you. These guys are awesome, my property management for my Business uses them. One of my units went down today and I called Climate Services of Texas to repair it. The technician that showed up was Sebastian and he arrived when they said he would. He was very professional and quickly ascertained the problem and corrected it. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of services I didn't need and left everything clean and in order. I began working for Better Way Air Conditioning after I completed HVAC school in 2006. I then began teaching HVAC courses at Lone Star College in 2009. I opened Climate Services of Texas in 2012, and in 2014 I took over Better Way Air Conditioning. My A/C started blowing 82 degree air and I turned it off. This was on a Friday evening. Saturday…read moremorning I called and spoke to Angela who arraigned for a tech to come out. Parker evaluated the cause (slow leaking evaporator coil) but he wanted to be sure the rest of the system maintained integrity by performing a pressure leak test which he did a few days later. He charged the system back up, enough to get me to the pressure test. Confirming the problem, he passed me over to Hope who provided a solution and explained in detail what needed to be done, what it would cost, and how long it would take. This was on a Friday afternoon. She was able to coordinate the required new equipment, materials and schedule their construction team for the following Monday morning. Everything was in place that morning and needless to say, they knew what to do and how to do it. They jumped on it, and never stopped. No breaks, no lunch and were finished by 2:00 PM. This was a major project, having to demo and rebuild the supply plenum, remove and replace the coil section of the furnace, install a new drain pan and drains, etc. As fate would have it, my thermostat had failed and that caused a delay getting the system to start. Richard, another airWoodlands tech came out and discovered the problem quickly and provided me with a new thermostat. From Angela, to Parker, to Hope, to Cossa, and to Richard, I could not have asked for a better team from any one, anywhere. Customer service in general has failed in America, but this group is an exception. I will never have to search for an a/c contractor. Air Woodlands is the best. (A special call out to Parker. He was the key element in earning my trust and Air Woodlands)

As a matter of fact there was a misunderstanding in the quote as I thought it included new ducts, but it did not. But James replaced for free due to the misunderstanding on my part. He did not have to do that because it was my mistake in communication. Prior to that I had 2 other hvac systems installed by another company. So I called that company that did the install to repair one. Within hours of repairing one hvac, the other failed. So I had to wait over the weekend for them to return to fix the hvac and on Monday my schedule. Then I decided to use Richmond Air for the repair. I only would be at my house from 8:30 to 10am due to a departing flight. I called Richmond Air at 7:30 AM on Monday to see if they could send someone to my house within the hour. The owner, James showed up with a staff member. So the other company's staff accidentally let out my Freon. James called the company and explained the mistake for me and arranged for them to replace my Freon for free. That is honestly and great customer service. He could have replaced the Freon and charged me, which is expensive and let me figure out the situation with the other company. So that deserves my business and yours. Trustworthy, competence and great pricing. I hope this review helps you select Richmond Air. As with everything in life, fix one issue, another comes up. Corey and his team replaced my AC unit. It worked beautifully. They recommend we also replace the heating unit as the units were 25 years old. At the time it wasn't in the budget. Issues began to arise and the unit was constantly trying to "kick on". Our electric bill has been through the roof and we finally decided to complete the install. Mike came with his crew, walked me through the entire process. Had some funny discussions about his wife and I both being "hey babe, I found a project women". They completed the install quickly, CLEANED the area they were in WELL!! After the install they took time to ask if I had any questions or concerns. Explained exactly what they had done and were, as always so respectful and polite. One of the employees asked about a plant I have on my porch and we had a lovely chat about his love for the pepper plant I have. I gave him some seeds to start his own and some salsa we make from the plant. He was very happy. It's so nice to have service teams in your home you can feel completely at ease with when you are a woman who is home alone with 3 men you don't know! We have been using climate services for a very long time and I can tell you, I am PICKY! I hate saying this about myself but I am "Karen" picky when it comes to services done in my home as other companies have left our home in worse conditions than when they arrived previously. Many times with OTHER contractors I have NOT felt comfortable. That has never been the case with Climate services! They have almost become family over the years. WENDY IN THE OFFICE IS OUTSTANDING!! This woman has handled my "OH MY GOD" calls with love and compassion and SPEED!! This review is almost a novel because I could go on for days about the service and kindness of this company. And NO we do not know any of them outside of using them for repairs. Although, they seem like people we would love to catch a football game with! If Wendy sees this, I love you girl! Very reasonably priced. Cory the owner was involved in the entire process from beginning to end. Marlon and his crew of technicians took pride in their work did a very professional Job. They showed tremendous patience with me watching over them throughout the day and answering all my question as they were doing their work.
