One is a large breed and the other a toy breed…read more We live together and were really struggling to integrate the two pups and it was making life VERY difficult. We were afraid to let them be in the same room together due to the size difference - when they were in the same room, it was basically gladiator warfare! We chose to board and train them together with Justin for two weeks while we went on an overseas trip. We were absolutely shocked at the progress Justin made with them in a few short days. The pups are totally integrated and we are all finally able to relax in the same room together. Until Justin came along, we were sure this was going to be a forever issue. Aside from the integration, Justin really listened to what our concerns were for training and was able to address each and get us moving in the right direction. He approaches training with love and always with the intention of strengthening your bond with your dog and teaching how to behave so that your dog can live it's best life and have as many adventures with you as possible. It's evident that Justin loves his work and loves and really gets to know each dog. We got great updates every day on how things were going and what he was working on with them. He's also an amazing photographer and we have so many gorgeous puppy portraits that he took. Best decision we ever made to use Justin and Modern Dog to help us with our boys. I was on the verge of tears, the day I was informed my two year old Aussie/Lab mix was not being a…read moregood citizen at doggie daycare. He was guarding resources, dominating other dogs, and had zero recall. Now, after working with Rachel @Integra Dog Training, he's a gentleman that sits and waits at doorways, until I walk through first and release him. He greets others, while sitting. He heels beside me as we go grocery shopping. He sits or downs and stays, while I walk away and out of sight, until I return to him and he is released. Most importantly, when I call him, he comes running to me and lands a sit in front of me. Rachel tailored our training to our life, visiting our home and addressing any issues or specific needs. She even taught him to safely enjoy kayak fishing with me. The first time I took my dog with me the cashier gave my small dog a TON of large treats at checkout. While I understand this is a nice perk, it was way too many and I wish she would have asked permission before giving her more than one. Another time the cashier acted like I was mean when I told her my dog could only have one treat. I spoil my dog at home but I don't know what treats they use so I didn't want her to go overboard. But the straw that broke the camels back was when I returned something and the computer messed up and the cashier didn't give me the correct amount back. He didn't understand when I tried to explain to him so I had to ask for the manager. When she didn't understand (and seemed to be accusing me of being wrong) she got the head manager. He finally understood and issued the correct refund. But the damage was done. It took too long and too many employees to fix a simple problem. And the customer service from the front line employees was not good. Computer problem or not, a smile and an apology would have gone a long way. The only reason I give this store 2 stars instead of 1 is they have a large selection of chew toys, which is hard to find in Weatherford. Too bad for them that I will be spending my money elsewhere.
