Also, Dr. Younes was INCREDIBLY nice and helpful and professional. She truly is the best doctor I have ever met. On the other hand, once I delivered and the epidural effect started to wear off, I was at the mercy of a nurse named Deb. She completely mistreated me. She wouldnt even give me her hand to get up and use the restroom. I asked her to please hand me my purse to take medicine (stool softener because I was really struggling to use the restroom, I was in PAIN) and she said : oh you could get it later. She could see that I am not able to walk or sit on the toilet and she would REFUSE to give me her hand. As I was struggling to use the restroom and crying, as I was living the worst moment of my entire life, she told me : "my mom pushed me at 9 lbs, I am sure she did tear as well." And she was saying this in like a chatty way, as if we were just talking.. while I literally was shaking. Then, she left me in the restroom and left the room. She came back 15min later to find me sobbing by myself in the room and she said : whats the matter? As if she doesn't know that I am in terrible pain and completely by myself. Later, my husband finally was able to come and help me and when she saw him trying to help me get back to the hospital bed as I was in terrible pain, she said : oh you guys are so cute!! i am going to cry!!! I genuinely think that she should not be in charge of taking care of new borns or freshly postpartum patients as she clearly lacks empathy and compassion. I will never ever forget how she treated me and I hope she will experience the same thing someday so she can see how it feels to be completely vulnerable and be rejected help from your nurse. Aside from this, the hospital staff was great!!

The wait was long, but the bugs and blood on the floor were nasty, guess a hospital was never meant to prevent infection when treatment is required for another issue. The impersonal treatment as if I was interrupting the ER's party, absurd. The nurses and the ER doc were all planning a shopping trip, barely had time to suture my hand and pass me a phone number for a plastic surgeon that was in their referral group. Being prepared, brought 3 copies of required paperwork prior to dashing into this ER, none of the little doc in the boxes were opened. I gave the nurse my paperwork 3 times and each time she would pop back into the room and state she had lost it. Having worked in a hospital, made me wonder if they were equipped to handle a real heavy duty emergency, incompetent to the say the least. Extremely unprofessional demeanor, and yes $2700 out of my pocket as BC/BS hates to pay for accidents.

I just had my son in January & when I went in for my post op appt in March I never heard anything about an outstanding bill. I was able to schedule my well woman's visit for June with no issues. I got an email for a $200 statement & I didn't think much of it, was planning on paying at my appt in June because that's what I always did. When I called to confirm my appt Dede said that my appt had been cancelled & she wasn't sure why & that usually I would receive a call before an appt is just cancelled. She transferred me to the billing department & Cynthia answers. She told me she cancelled my appt because I had an outstanding balance & she "didn't know what my intentions were". I thought that was extremely rude because I have NEVER ran from a payment. She said they don't always call to collect payment & that this is their policy. When I asked her who decided this policy she said the doctors. Makes me feel like the doctors don't truly care about the patient's wellbeing, it's all about the money. Pretty disgusting considering I have been a patient for as long as I have with no history of avoiding payments. Needless to say I won't be returning & I suggest you find a physician & staff who truly care about you.

This bleeding hadn't just started so even though for her it was a full day ahead, for me it was an new and alarming issue. She even proceeded to say "I don't know what to tell you." After I asked if that was the soonest and she made those remarks she said she had availability today at 3:15. Not sure why that wasn't offered in the first place. We could've avoided the rudeness.
