The MA that took his vitals and swabs explained everything thoroughly to him before he did them to make my kiddo comfortable and even rewarded him with a juice when he finished. We saw NP Baczinskas, she talked directly to my son for the most part and asked him the questions about his illness and how he was feeling. (With my input as well, of course) She was very sweet to him and open to hear my concerns and thoughts. The radiology tech that did his X-rays was ALSO so kind, and talked him through every step. She even brought us over to show us the X-rays and show him his anatomy (which He thought was super cool, so did I) The little guy ended up having RSV and the start of pneumonia. I've been trying to see this in any way that would not make this "ER" look as terrible as it is. I have been unsuccessful. I'll make this as short as possible. My wife went in for severe stomach pain around midnight. She searched ER and this place was closest. They even have an EMERGENCY ROOM sign. She was placed in a room, nurse asked a few questions, then was left alone. A biller or front desk lady came in and said they know what it likely is but needed $800 before they could even say what she was paying for. She took my wife's cc (while shes crying in pain) and left. Card declined 3 times so she came in and asked for another. Baffled as to why an emergency room was holding life saving information hostage behind a paywall, I gave her the address to the actual hospital when she called me asking for $800, in pain, panicking, and sobbing. My wife left and drove to Christus Santa Rosa. There we learned her appendix was about to rupture. She had surgery that same morning. Something we paid for with heartfelt thanks. This Urgent Care let my wife leave without recommending she immediately go to the hospital, or asking if they could call someone, or helping in any way. If they would have done even that much i would not be writing this now. For all they care she could've died in the parking lot. We understand this is a business. They may have improved in the 5 years since this took place but I wont be risking my family here. This is a place you go to when your Dr. is unavailable. This is not a place to go if you're in an actual emergency.

I gave four stars instead of five because the front desk lady who sits to the right (had shorter hair in a hair clip) if you're in the lobby looking through the window was very rude to another patient. The patient had went up to the window and inquired about his wait time in the lobby because he said he observed other patients being called back before he had been called back, and he had been there before them. Instead of her explaining to the gentleman the process of how everything goes, the lady on the left-hand side if you're looking inside the window from the lobby, explained to him that the specific procedure he was having, they wanted him to come in earlier and that he would be called back soon. The young lady on the right hand side if you were looking through the window, rolled her eyes so hard they almost got stuck in the back of her head. I thought it was so rude of her to do so, especially with so many eyes that were sitting in the lobby looking at her. The waiting area is nice. Although there were 4 large HEPA filters , one in the seating area of the lobby large enough to block 2 seats, , 2 others on each entrance with trash cans and one by the women's bathroom. I was wondering what they were I'm sure a lot of people were. It would ease my mind knowing what it was instead of thinking there was a water leak needing blowers. Possibly having a sign on them would let people know that they were there for purifying the air. Otherwise it concerned me and gave me the impression of the lobby lacking in cleanliness for a surgical center even if it was in the waiting room. We have used Santa Rosa surgical Center in the past so I know they are top notch so this is unusual to have the lobby looking a bit out of sorts. The lobby is ice cold! Bring a jacket if you're the friend/ family waiting. It was so cold I went outside in the 90 degree heat and coming back in put a mask on to keep my cold nose from getting colder. But a sweet nurse brought me a warmed up sheet to wrap in. The lady registering pts at the front desk must have requested it for me, kudos for her taking care of family members and going above and beyond. My husband had his procedure. I was called back .His doctor explained his findings and follow up. His nurse Karen was excellent and gave thorough discharge instructions. This is the place to go if you ever need day surgery. And Christus Santa Rosa is my go to for care.

I thought I had a flu, and was relieved that Premier ER would see me for something like that (I thought the ER would be for broken leg or heart attacks, not a darned flu!!) I got attention right away, no wait. Turned out, I had an allergy symptoms that look a lot like the flu. The doctor was able to recognize it, tested for flu just to be sure, and gave me meds on the spot with a followup prescription. I felt amazingly better in about an hour. My Blue Cross insurance PPO covered the cost. I am very happy to have found this place in my new hometown.
