She explained the current interest rates, best options, and pro's and con's by "Roll Over", early cancelling of my CD and so forth. She answered all my questions and then some. She did a great job. She assured me I could and it would be free. I didnt get statements until months later showing me they had been draining my account every month for hidden fees. I asked the woman that signed me up why I was missinformed and she had no real answer for me. The bank manager had no excuses or apologies either. I have 2 other great federal credit unions (educators credit union and RBFCU) that really ARE free and know their jobs their getting paid for. It's still NOT my job to do the jobs of bankers ect...I'm NOT the one getting paid for it.

Allstate takes advantage of Senior Citizens!…read more I just received a letter from Allstate Insurance refusing to pay for damages to my vehicle. My insurance has determined that I was not at fault for this accident. I am a senior citizen living on Social Security. I have an excellent driving record and have NEVER had any claims. Allstate also determined that their client was not at fault, and offered no further explanation. This is Allstate's way of preying on profit over people. Their client who is an 18 year old, inexperienced driver unable to control his vehicle, hits my rear quarter panel on the drivers side while he's turning from the left onto my lane. How is that my fault? It is hard enough on a senior, living on Social Security having to pay a high deductible plus a probable premium increase due to an unjustified claim. If you have Allstate Insurance or if you're in an accident with someone who has Allstate, you can bet your bottom dollar you won't pry a red cent out of these Crooked Insurers for your damages! Don't trust Allstate!
