My first week here I went to a drop in class and honestly, I am impressed. Kick has some really quality classes and long form shows. I am currently enrolled in the level four class and have really enjoyed the ability to stretch my improv muscles and play. The players are smart and funny, the instructors have a multitude of specialties, and the shows are very good quality. I particularly enjoy the third Saturday of the month with the Underground Throw down, Dog and Friend Dog, and Keith plus one. Also, they have drop in classes every Saturday afternoon so you can non-commitally dip your toe in the metaphoric improv pool.

We had originally planned on heading out to the Brick, but they're closed on Monday, so my spouse googled Brick alternative options (highlighting the need for vegan menu options) and Gambal's came up. Our crew ranged, literally, from 6 years old to 60, and everyone had a really great time. The vibe is casual, with games that kept the younger kids occupied, and the environment allowed the adults to converse and catch up. The food was absolutely wonderful - everyone loved what they got, and were very satisfied. Mark, who helped us all evening long, was AMAZING - we had such a great time. It was a little confusing at first getting everything set up and figuring out the controls, but once we got into it, it was a blast. The setup upstairs is really cool--it's somewhat separated, which helps you stay immersed, but there are still other arcade games up there so if you're waiting for your turn, you're not just standing around. One thing I really appreciated was the drink selection. I don't drink alcohol, and they had a TON of mocktail options, which honestly made the experience way better for me. It's not something every place puts effort into, so that stood out. The food was also surprisingly good, with plenty of options to choose from. Downstairs has more of a full bar vibe with additional games and more space to sit and eat (no VR down there), so it's nice to have both environments depending on what you're in the mood for. Understand when you buy you will have to endure tornadoes, 70mph winds and hail before a refund.
