My husband is a burger guy and claims this as one of his top 5 burgers of all time. It's a good sports bar with lots of tvs, good bar food options (plus several salads), and super nice staff. It is set up well for a large group and a nice option close to I75 that's not a chain or fast food when driving to or home from "up north." Don't let the strip mall location scare you off. They have an outdoor seating area with nice wood fencing so you don't fully feel you're sitting next to a parking lot -- but can easily watch your car if you need to leave it running with your dog or food inside. read more

We visit regularly, we were in yesterday 06/17/24. After our visit yesterday, I'm not sure if we will ever be back. Our bartender Brittany was wonderful as always. Frankie was very tennitive to his customers, even though it was so hot In there. Normally, we order pizza, but we weren't gonna do that to the kitchen staff with how warm it was in the building. The manager Brandy stopped in for a brief moment while we were there, and then people started questioning her about the ac. She then got an attitude and left. My entire family eats here several times a month. I let them all the Ac is not working, so don't plan on going and enjoying drinks and dinner in the cool environment. I ordered it well done and it came out just done with no pink in the middle not burnt to a crisp. Perfect. The fries were hot and crispy. Perfect. We read some yelp reviews and decided to try it here! Most were correct. The service was not that great. When we walked in we waited by the hostess stand which had a marker and sheet in front of it so it looked like someone was actively there. After a few minutes of waiting and making eye contact with several waitresses, one of them finally screamed across the bar to have a seat anywhere. The food took about an hour although the place was pretty empty. It was cold when it got to us and not very good. I asked for steamed veggies instead of fries so I could give them to the baby and it came out with fries. I asked for the steamed veggies and they looked like microwaved grossness. They also had some kind of paprika or something on top to make it look more appetizing. It didn't work. Save your money! We should have gone to Taco Bell! read more

Tip to owners. Hire more help, waitstaff can't keep up. Also your menu is WAY too big. Perhaps if you had a few items that you did really well I would have had a decent meal. However unless you're really into over breaded onion rings and over breaded fish I cannot recommend the fish and onion rings. WAY too much breading. We have always enjoyed stopping at the Roadhouse for a pizza and a cocktail or two. Their pizzas are delicious. This place is totally a sports bar. Very roomy. Very good atmosphere for watching sports. Wait staff and bar staff are very friendly. Food is good. Burgers, although a lot on the menu, adding just toppings to a burger doesn't season the meat. Clio Roadhouse is our go-to place for bar, sports and fun. Their is always something going on there and they boast they are the biggest burger bar in town. They do have an amazing selection of burgers and you can build your own. They have themes every night and a lot of live entertainment. Even a patio outside. There were a few times when they were training new cooks or wait staff and things would happen. We would make note with the manager and things would be corrected. Nothing to really complain about. This place has gone way down hill. Went here with my mother today for Mother's Day. Not busy when we walked in, maybe 4 tables total. Our server, although super nice, dropped the ball. At times we were with empty drinks, and waited well over 30 minutes for food. I received a burger with pepperoni on it? Still confused about that one. My finances food came out 10 minutes after everyone else's did. The final clincher? We asked her to split the 40 dollar bill in half between two cards.. she said she tried, but the closest she could split them was 12.46 and 28.00.... and the best part? This bar has some delicious drinks. The bartenders don't screw you out of the correct amount of liquor that should go in your drink. The buffalo chicken cheese fries are basically a death row quality meal. I mean, I would probably order them for my last meal. The bar does bring in a rougher crowd at times, but the service seems to be the same no matter who you are, so that's a plus to me. My only complaint is that one night (St Patrick's Day), we sat at a table and we were waiting for well over 45 minutes with someone else's empty, dirty beer cup on our table. The server for our area actually ignored us, took care of all her other tables, and pretended we weren't there, refusing to clean our table and serve us (we didn't know her so I have no idea why she just ignored us without asking another server for help if she needed it). So finally we asked a bartender if we could get a server to order food for us as it was ridiculous (we were sitting there with drinks we walked up and ordered at the bar, not just staring at each other waiting, but like I've never been seated at a table and had to get up and order from the bar before, your server always brings you more drinks, it's just good service and that's how it's always been during my other visits). Another server picked up our table and apologized profusely. Tipped her what she deserved anyway because it definitely wasn't her fault AND she stayed over her shift to serve us food because some chick couldn't handle her tables, but that's the worst bar service I've ever had in my life, so they lost one star there. This is once out of about a dozen visits I've had over the last 8 months or so though, so take that into consideration. Usually service is prompt, and friendly as can be. They are always playing a healthy mix of older and newer music, usually makes for a good dancing atmosphere on busier nights and they do have a floor area set up for that. Came here for dinner. I had the prime rib burger it was good, I ordered medium rare it was medium to medium well. It was a good burger but it was missing the baby portabella mushrooms that were described on menu. I also got a baked potato, it was undercooked but our server happily corrected the issue. Overall, it is pretty good bar food. Friends ordered Philly cheesesteak they only had enough for one order, so the other was bourbon burger which was delicious. They do have pool and darts which is great to know in the future. I would definitely come back. Service was a bit long, but server was very friendly and attentive.
