Really good food here! i'm The pretzel appetizer is always so tasty. I didn't grab a photo this time, but you get a lot of pretzels and the dips are great. The strawberry salad dressing was delicious too, although the chicken on it was a little tough and dry. The fish and chips were great too. The fries are the beer-battered with a crispy outside, which is my favorite type of fry, and the fish was cooked well too. It's decorated so cute in here for the holidays. I love the bows they put on the lights and how they line the shelves with decor! It definitely adds to the cozy vibe. Our server Jennifer was great too. She matched the ambiance perfectly with a confident, relaxed vibe. Very attentive and honestly one of the better servers I've had this holiday season. One update from my earlier visits: prices have definitely crept up a bit, and they now add a fee for card transactions. Not my favorite surprise at the end of the bill, especially at a place like this. Been here a few times and the food was usually good. Not today - I had a buffalo chicken wrap and it tasted like I was eating breaded chicken tenders that were microwaved (that's how tough the chicken was) I finally gave up halfway through my wrap. My Son got the Sunrise Burger, which was slightly under cooked. Our server never came and asked if we needed drinks or to check on us until she saw the card on the table to pay. Another thing that was strange was the hostess walked by while I was talking to my Son and (i assume it was a piece of trash she grabbed off of the table) but did it so quickly it was odd because 1 -I was unsure of what she did at first and 2-her hand was super close to my plate ...... No concern from the server until AFTER she took my payment and asked if I needed a box.... Nope, no thanks - asked if she wanted me to take it off the bill - I told her not to bother because why bother after it had been paid for??? She apologized and I told her it was not her fault she did not cook it - her response (as she is laughing) "you're right I didn't!" I will not be going back anytime soon read more

Food was good, but on the door was a sign stating that there was a 3.5% surcharge for credit card transactions so i used a Debit card and they still charged the fee even though they are not charged a fee on Debit card transactions. Manager said they just charge it automatically and he agreed when i said it appears they gest make extra profit when people use a debit card. Was going to buy 3 gift cards however i decided not to and told him i would never be back, they are not honest people. read more

I had the Cashew Chicken Stir Fry (ordered it by servers suggestion last time and I give it 2 thumbs up). Hubs tried the White fish and he said he'd definitely have that again. The service here has always been very good. Drinks wonderful and affordable and well plated food. I'm changing my review because we were a party of 3 including a child. We were celebrating me signing a purchase agreement on a home. Thirty minutes into the dining (this includes ordering, and delivery), we were offered a take out box. We still had over 1/2 of our food on the plates. I hadn't even finished my first cocktail. We were delivered 3 take out boxes. I wanted another cocktail. The lady identified herself as the owner's wife. She said it looked like we weren't eating. She did not offer anyone else a take out box it the area where we were seated. She apologized, blamed us, and took the boxes off the table. I ordered another cocktail, did not finish it nor did anyone in our party finish our food because it just left a bad taste and was tacky. We paid the bill and left the food and unfinished drinks on the table. We are very generous tippers, however this visit we left nothing but the food and drinks. The server was nice though. I've never felt unwanted there until that visit. People that were there longer than us weren't offered take out boxes. Before we got out the door a gentleman with salt and pepper hair was removing our dishes. I believe he was the owner but I didn't ask. This was not okay. Attentive and friendly wait staff, kind and welcoming hostess. A good atmosphere and tons of TVs and a variety of sports playing. Fair pricing and never have had a long wait on the food coming out. We usually order a steak and blue cheese wedge salad for an appetizer which has some of the BEST tasting steak I've ever had. The steak is served with a big wedge and crispy bacon, blue cheese, and blue cheese dressing and they always knock this dish out of the park. Their burgers are delicious and come with really tasty thick kettle-cooked chips. I love the sunrise burger the most. Buffalo chicken wrap is good but nothing out of the ordinary. I've had a disappointing experience with the Truffled Mac n cheese which to does not come across as Mac and cheese to, more like a penne in a white cheese sauce and little to no taste of truffle. I thought there would be melted cheese on top but it was just a cheese sauce. Didn't taste bad, just very plain and kind of bland. The side salad that came with it however was a decent size. We have also had some issues with our steaks not being cooked right temps. All in all we have many good experiences coming here. We will however, probably just stick to ordering our wedge salad and burgers as those are always delicious. read more

We were at Johnny's for a quick dinner. We were impressed by how good everything was. Cold Oberon in giant glasses, perfectly cooked burgers, fries that were crispy in the outside and fluffy on the inside. Kid's menu was perfect, including Kraft Mac n Cheese (my kids cry over four-cheese cracked pepper truffle mac n cheese, okay). Service was friendly and fast. This is the best restaurant in Flushing. The service is great, food is delicious, and there is a large drink selection. My favorite things to order are the pour house pretzels, fried pickles, their flatbreads, and my all time favorite the strawberry salad. I order the salad most of the time I come here and the salad has spring mix, fresh strawberries, sugared walnuts, red onion, and grilled chicken. This is a great place to visit with friends/family and some nights they have bands. The servers are friendly and food is always out quickly. They have a craft beer selection and a mixed drink menu as well as a full bar. Personally my favorite drink they make is the white sangria but I also enjoy their moscow mules. read more

This place was outstanding. The service was amazing and the food was awesome!! To start we tried the spicy calamari and buffalo chicken egg rolls with ranch. Both were For dinner I got the prime rib stroganoff. The meat was so tender and the pasta quite enjoyable especially with the sauce! My wife got the chicken and cashew stir fry. My dish was great but hers was even better!! For dessert a succulently smooth chocolate lava cake with ice cream. I have to take a moment to discuss the service. Our waitress was one of the nicest I've ever seen. She promptly boxed up the appetizers after we told told her we were done with them and put new sauces in each box. She delayed the main meals just to allow us to enjoy the appetizers at our leisure. These little things really make all the difference. The owner/manager saw our baby crying while we were eating our dinners and held her so that we could enjoy our meal. I have honestly never seen such kindness at a restaurant and will always remember such acts. I highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back!! read more

I had takeout from here at the start of the pandemic and just waiting for our take out the staff was so friendly. While being there only a once before myself and my girlfriend were unsure what to order. Mitchell was by far one of the most helpful people I've encountered in the restaurant industry. Never felt rushed and was happy to answer any of our questions. Ended up loving our food and this is now one of my favorite restaurants. I was very unhappy with this place today. One of our friends called and asked if we could bring a group in of about 20 people. He was told sure when we got there we were told they don't take reservations. We were given a place to sit than a table opened up I went over there waiting for it to be cleaned off. The owner I am assuming told me to go back and sit down I said something to my friend that I would never come back in there again. He told me if didn't stop yelling he would throw me out.
