Please be aware that this towing company wanted the title to my 2008 Dodge Avenger for the towing bill. I don't know how this gentleman equated a $4000.00 vehicle into a basic 250.00 minimum mileage and 2 days storage of 35.00/day, that is $320.00. The windshield was fractured on the passenger side and a tire had to be changed. It was mechanically sound and was able to be driven home, 64 miles away. Michigan laws and statutes for towing companies say that asking for title for the cost of towing is shady and illegal! read more

After being told by another towing company that they couldn't help us without doing damage to the car. AAA had Clio's towing service us. They asked us to send some pics so they knew what they were in for. We were caught up on some tree stumps in a low profile car. The man who came was great! Not only did he lighten the mood and reassure us it wasn't so bad, he got right to work and his expertise quickly and safely (without ANY damage to the car) had us out in no time. We were able to drive home, an hour and a half away without a problem. Wish I would've gotten that driver's name but regardless a great experience! Thank you Clio Towing!!! read more

It's sad that a holiday has to make a worker have a poor attitude. My car battery went dead and I call my roadside assistance off my att. They picked Clio towing and they told me it would be one hour to get somewhere where I was located being out of town. I have a lot of patience since I work in a large emergency room. After a hour had passed by I called the number the rep gave me from att for the towing company they were sending. Thank goodness because I wouldn't have known how to get in touch with them. The guy that answered the phone said it would be about 10 mins and this was already after I had waited for 1 hour and 15 mins before I called. No one still came after 10 mins and another half hour went by. The same guy answered and said he'd call me back after he called the worker on their way. But never got a call back. The young man that arrived was mad at the world from the second he stepped out of his truck. He said after backing in the drive way and lowering his lift system, "I hope this is a dead battery issue because I'll be pissed if it isn't. My boss told me this would be a quick and easy call" I believe he said that because it was Easter and I apologized for ruining his afternoon. He stated it was his day off and I asked why he was on the call. Said he wanted to slap his boss in the face. I said I understand when the boss takes things for granted. It's too bad that he chose to do the job he does. Told me after my sister and I helped him push the car in the forward facing direction, I hope your car fits on the lift because if not your screwed. The truck made some noise like it was breaking and he said oh well my boss has my truck this isn't mine. I said again how come you're taking calls if you are off and you're missing time with your family. As he finally left and arrived at Walmart in Clio and he said to the guys it's a battery issue. I told him thank you and go home and have dinner with your family. He said that would be nice but I have more calls to go on. The moral behind this review get people to help and want to help. When I worked Ems in the flint area we were always willing to work with the towing companies. I hope if I ever have family with car issues they don't get this company sent to them because they may be an inconvenience. I thanked God my sister was home and able to take me to Walmart without any problems. I can just imagine the treatment I got or the complaining I'd hear the whole drive. read more

This towing company hookt my car up wrong and bent my tie rod, then denied it, the car drove perfect before it came in but when I drove it out from the toe company it was all over the road took it to tuffy to get fixed they said it was defenatly done by the wrecker hook. pluse there was money stole out of the car as well. avoid this toe company at all cost., read more

This company is a joke. My buddy got stuck in a snow bank at Mc Donalds on Vienna Rd in Clio in a pretty heavy snow fall. The vehicle was completely out of the way of the main building and was not blocking ANY parking or entrances/exits. Considering it was 4am we planned on just calling a tow company in the morning as he was sick and got a ride home from myself. Clio towing stopped and hooked his vehicle, had it less than 4 hours and charged him 275$ to get it back. They claimed the Sheriffs Dept called them. The Genesee County Sheriffs Dept said that is not true and they had nothing at all to do with the vehicle being taken. This company is just a joke and will burn anyone they can in a heart beat. This is far from over as we will now be looking into why they took a vehicle that not only did the police have nothing to do with it but the property owner did not call it in. My wife was in a accident where her car had been rear ended. When clio towing pulled up to tow the car the first thing out of the drivers mouth was is your "wife ok?" since the car was undrivable we asked him to tow it back to his yard until the insurance company could deal with it. He gave us his number and told us to go home get some rest call him in the morning and we could come up and get our personal belongings out of the car. The next day we called him met him at the impound yard to get our belongings. During this time i forgot to get the license plate off the car. I called him the next day and he said that the insurance company had called him and was coming to get the car, but not to worry he would pull our plate off and stick it in his shop. Mike went above and beyond for us. He was very professional, and seemed to truly take a personal approach to his business. I highly recommend Clio Towing to anyone! read more
