They had expired milk in their small refrigerator and it appears that they just head down to the nearest gas station and buy three or four drinks then mark them up incredibly high. Most of the "snacks" and other things in the area had dust all over them, there was even a dead fly. There was a crowd of people playing lottery tickets and there was no real order. I stood there for more than five minutes while the woman working there waited on everyone around me but me. She had a line at the register and a line at the lottery machine, but she continued to just take everyone from the lottery line, so I got in that line. At that point she took the man who was standing behind me in the regular line. Once there was only myself and one other lady waiting the cashier finally decided to wait on me. She was incredibly rude to me acting as if I was a burden to her, when a minute ago she was smiling and laughing with other customers. I went to pay for my beverage and two newspapers (they still had the one from Tuesday and I hadn't gotten that one so since they still had it I figured I'd pick it up) and she told me I could not buy the Tuesday one even though there were a stack of them sitting on the paper stand out for sale. I didn't bother asking why because at this point I just wanted to get out of this creepy little place and it was starting to fill back up with people wanting lottery tickets. I handed her a five dollar bill and asked if I had anything smaller. The paper only cost $0.75 and the over priced tea was $2.15 but my five was too big for the $2.90 bill. She reluctantly took my five and rolled her eyes at me. I said thank you to her and she just huffed at me. Incredibly rude for no reason. As I was leaving I heard one of the customers ask the woman if she can "front" him a pack of cigarettes because his food stamps aren't coming in for another week. I was completely appalled and this place should probably be investigated.

Sure theres lots of them listed, but a lot of those are restaurants as well. If youre looking for some great dining ideas this is the magazine that tells you whats good. Id give it 4 stars but they advertise a strip club inside, that costs a star in my opinion. Its free and can be found in the entrance of quite a few Lancaster area pizza shops, bars and restaurants.

If you've ever wanted socks, mugs, pens, puzzles, stickers, or stuffies that loudly announce I READ, this is your spot. They do tend to run pricey, but I think that's typical of all mall stores, and I'd rather buy from a local shop than Amazon if I can help it. Theres a BAM membership you can sign up for that helps, and they do occasionally have nice sales, so just be on the look out for those if you're looking to save a few bucks.

Still I entertained the notion of supporting the local merchants in a brick and mortar store. I approached the checkout counter with over $70 in merchandise and was rung up. The sales associate then asked if I wanted a bag. Of course I wasn't going to juggle all the merchandise throughout the rest of the mall without a bag so I said, "Yes, please." She then told me that would be $1.99. I was absolutely dumbfounded and taken aback, half tempted to just walk out and not purchase anything, but remembered they were for gifts and I didn't have time to ship them. Next time I will certainly preplan and avoid this store. I'd rather purchase and pay for shipping than for the gas to travel here, the inconvenience of standing in line, having to lug purchases throughout the mall and back home... and be charged $2 for a bag to carry my purchases. This is just in poor form to scam customers into purchasing a bag after you ring up a large order! It's just not worth the hassle. I asked for a free plastic bag and was informed they will no longer provide them. The store is well stocked and organized, but all the items can be obtained elsewhere for less of a cost and more convenience to ship to your front door or remember to take your own bag if you plan on shopping here. Highly disappointing and I'll no longer be shopping or supporting this store.
