I have 4 sons and have been to my fair share of barbershops in Northern NJ and Clips is by far the best! It is VERY clean! The barbers run on time and everyone is very friendly! We have been seeing Aaron for years and he is simply amazing! We set up an appointment and have never waited more than 5 minutes for our scheduled appointment. They are sensitive to the clientele and the music is appropriate for everyone. They have a nice ambience and I would highly recommend! My son will not let anyone else cut his hair period and Aaron has always accommodated my sons crazy schedule and has always gotten him in, even in a crunch! I brought my nephew in on a Sunday afternoon. I was helped right away. The barber (I unfortunately didn't get his name) that helped us was very accommodating. It was my first time takin my nephew to the barbershop and I didn't know what to ask for. The barber knew exactly what I wanted after I tried describing it with my hands. He explained to my nephew how to comb it every morning. My nephew really liked his haircut. The place is huge and clean. Decked out with plasmas and cool posters. The music was poppin too! Aaron has been cutting my hair for years so when he set up shop at Clips i followed. The shop is clean with plenty of seating and a cool vibe. I always set up an appointment in advance so im in and out the door in less than an hour. As for the cut, Aaron is meticulous. All lines are sharp and beards get the hot towel treatment. All excess hair is blown off with compressed air and he always has some magic in a bottle to make sure you leave smelling good. read more

I really liked the first time I got my cut here. The dude that I had the first time wasn't there the second. I think maybe the owner was there but who knows the way the dude acted. First off, the first time I was there I was charged 25 and tipped 10. It was a great cut, my barber did everything I wanted and even though he went a bit shorter, I loved it. It was all done with scissors. It was a 5 star experience and It's why I came back the second time. The second time was hilarious. First, walk ins are welcome but I asked the guy at the desk anyway out of courtesy, he says yes but that there's a small wait because he's getting a tablet brought in. I don't know what that has to do with a hair cut but whatever, I had time to kill and I didn't care. I waited 20 minutes before the same guy asked about what type of cut I wanted and if it was just with scissors. I said yes to which he replied that it'd be 40 dollars. Maybe he thought I wouldn't tip or whatever idiot assumption he made but I agreed because who cares if I get stiffed, I just won't tip you if you wanna act like that. I wait after that for another 20 minutes where he then gets his tablet from whoever and proceeds to sit in front of me and talk aloud about how to reset his iPad. Are you not about your paper or do you just want people to walk out on you? Because that's what happened. Not only are you gonna close to double what I paid last time but then make me wait while you take care of personal issues while I almost waited an hour and then expected me to wait another 30 minutes while you do your shitty iPad? You're not about your paper, if the owner is reading this, that guy won't make you money. If that was the owner, you're riding off the talent of your other barbers. Would've given it a two star for the first haircut because that was redeemable but that second time made sure I never come back. If you got an hour or two to kill to only get ripped off, go for it. I just got a cut in Teaneck after this garbage for 20 and it was just as good as the first time here with a wash. read more

Favorite barbershop I've ever been to. The atmosphere is laid back, the barbers are really nice, and they use an air gun instead of a brush to clean hair off (which is pretty cool and unique). Highly recommend to any guys looking for a really good, affordable cut. read more

Made an appointment, and I showed up a little early. The barber took me as soon as I walked in. I requested a pretty generic cut, with a few specifics, and the barber delivered. After visiting other barbers in the area, I end up cleaning up or fixing their mistakes as soon as I get home. This barber did a tremendous job. This could be the single worst haircutting experience of my life. I don't know if they're trying to be a barbershop or a sneaker store. I don't know the name of the guy who did my haircut, but he didn't listen to anything I asked for, and after giving me the wrong cut said "oh, now I get what you were saying" In addition to using the clipper on my head like he was trying to reach my brain, he took his time to take three personal phone calls in the middle of it. No man, its cool, I'll wait while you attend to your personal business. Save your money, find somewhere else read more
