I have been there several times and all of the technicians are efficient and kind. However, I did notice that they have raised their prices.

I've been coming to this nail salon for about a year now. What first brought me in was their Saturday drinks, but what has kept me coming back are the consistently great nail services. My technician, Sully, is very attentive, kind, and professional, and always makes sure every detail is perfect. My nails have never been this long, healthy, strong, or durable. They lost my business some time back when they started asking me for a deposit for my nails fill ins... and if you don't make the girl dip you 3 to 4 times ya nails won't last. I decided...My coins will not be disrespected especially when you on my roster like PSEG was!! Ha! Had a regular pedicure with a hot stone massage add on. The service was wonderful - my feet look and feel great! Also, the pedicure massage chairs are really comfortable. I enjoyed the relaxed vibe of the salon and friendly staff. An overall nice experience and I will definitely go back again. read more

Easily one of my worst nail salon experiences, which is a shame because I recently moved into the neighborhood and was hoping to find a local spot. I spent over 2 hours here for a simple gel manicure on short nails. 1. I had made an appointment earlier that day for a gel manicure, and I still had to wait about 40 minutes to be seated 2. The nail technician was ok, but needed a lot of guiding - the shape was not even, the cuticles were not cut properly, I had asked to only file so I could save some of the length - nope, she filed all the way - whatever, that was not even the worst of it 3. After she was done with filing and nail "care", we couldnt move on to the polish because they did not have enough lamps.... A nail salon with 5 stations, and only 2 lamps to go around. Waited another 15 minutes just sitting there. The tech even tried to grab the pedicure nail lamps and as I saw here unplugging one, I prepared myself to get up and leave, but thankfully she changed her mind and didnt bring it to our station. She was apologetic for the wait, but it was obviously not her fault - to have to wait for a lamp in a relatively empty salon was wild. There were only 3 customers at the time. 4. After I was done, went on to pay and had to wait again. No one asked how the experience was, and the owner was running the front desk at that moment. All she asked was for my bday and additional info, to which I replied "I am good" - obviously I will not be returning. I am generally not picky about nail salons as long as they get the job done, but this place is run so poorly that it is an absolute no. read more

I always have a great experience here! The owner is always very friendly and makes me feel like I'm home. She always offers tea, coffee or even some wine :) Now for the nails..This is truly my dip powder spot! They know what they are doing (some salons don't know how to do dip powder, so beware, UV light shouldn't be used). I also can't complain about my pedicure! Do NOT come here for SNS/dipped/powder nails. I moved here in January and have been on the hunt for a good place to do dipped nails (I know everyone calls them something different, apparently in Jersey most people say SNS.) I was recommended to come here by a different nail shop actually, they said this is a good spot for dipped powder nails so I tried them out and it was a waste of money. Only 4 days later, 2 of my nails had cracked! They also have a 3 day policy if you break a nail within 3 days, you can go in to get it fixed for free, I think that tells you enough. Sadly mine both broke after 4 so I couldn't even take advantage of that offer. Needless to say, I will not be returning. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the girl doing my nails was sweet, my toes also were okay. The other thing I find weird, is they make you pay like 20% beforehand to reserve your spot which I've never had to do, I understand if I was booking with a popular nail tech specifically but it was just strange. I have visited this nail salon a few times when it was 'Rouge Nails' so not sure It's under new management with new staff or just a new name. Overall I'm pleased with how my nails came out and the complimentary beverages that they offer. The one thing that was very off putting for me was the experience of getting my nails done. I don't get me nails done often so when I do, it's a treat and I find it relaxing. My experience here was the opposite of relaxed. I felt like my manicurist rushed through doing my nails and seemed impatient throughout the process. I'm accustomed to picking the color prior to sitting down which didn't happen and that's okay. But when she asked me what color, she just started mouthing off different colors and shades and I was like "wait. Do you have something I can look at?" Came here with a groupon for SNS and the young lady who did my Dip nails was clean and efficient. Needless to say, she was patient with me. I usually go into the salon not knowing what design I want. Service here is nice and they served me a cup of wine. I was a bit scared entering the salon as I have not had any beauty services done since the lockdown and the ladies here made it a comfortable experience here. They also have a reward system. I plan to go back after the snow storms end for the season. I believe parking is free after 6pm but don't quote me on that. read more

Truly the roughest and most painful pedicure I've ever had. Rushed me in and out in all of 10 minutes. Sat down in the chair at 4:13 and was done by 4:24 with the whole process (besides the painting). Not relaxing at all. Due to a language barrier with the lady that helped me (was not who I made an appointment with btw) I now have paint on my expensive sandals as she shoved my wet foot in them instead of supplying me with the foam flip flops that I had requested. (I also must add that I was disappointed there was no massage chair but that's minimal) The manicure I got was going smooth until my cuticle was cut. Very clean nail salon! I'm particular about nail salons, and this one is definitely one worth visiting. The space is bright and clean. They obviously take pride in their shop, as it's cute and not full of nail powder (like some of the cheaper salons). The prices are pretty fair. I don't live in the area anymore but would visit this spot again if I'm needing a nice pedi and want to visit the area. I also love the little touch of serving drinks to the clients while getting service done. So why 4-stars? It's not the absolute best I've rver had although they are quite good. The girls do a very good job cleaning, and putting polish on. The basic pedi only includes a quick exfoliating scrub (no hot stones). The chairs are comfy though not equipped with massagers nor are they adjustable--so if you're short like my mother, you have a bit of a hard time putting your feet on the rest pad where they do the work. I absolutely recommend this place if you're in the area... and next time I want to get a nicer mani, this is probably the spot I would go to based on this service and their photos on Yelp. read more

Polished is a quaint and cozy nail salon in Montclair. According to the beautiful posts on Instagram they seem to specialize in gel and dip powder so I was somewhat apprehensive given I am pretty basic for my nail services. I am happy with a clean manicure and bright and fun pop of color pedicure. I was pleasantly surprised that my basic service was handled with just as much TLC as any other service. The space is comfortable and takes all the necessary Covid safety precautions. There were several polish colors to choose from. The young lady at the front desk kept me informed and was very professional. The prices are reasonable but I am not sure they were posted - I could be wrong. I would recommend making an appointment to ensure an efficient visit. It was great to patronize a professional minority owned salon that valued my business. read more

Wow it's my second time here and I left livid. I bled 4 times from over filling and my nails are not nice looking. The incompetent receptionist responses were "well no other person complained" "all I can provide is a 10 percent discount". I am going to wedding tomorrow and I am so disappointed. I like this place, however it is a hit or miss. I want to start off by saying how cute the place is and how incredibly nice and accommodating Eva is. She always asks if I want refreshments and is always very sweet and helpful. I also love the online system for scheduling appointments and appropriate the Instagram page. I came here based on a recommendation by a friend (no Groupon) This review is based off 3 times I went. During my first time I got a pedicure and a gel manicure and my two other times got the SNS dip powder. My pedicure was great and my gel manicure lasted about two weeks which is fantastic. I asked to get a colored french tip in my last two visits. In the first visit the tech used a regular polish for the french tip, which cracked the following day on all fingers. I didn't bother fixing it because it seemed like an extensive fix. The second time I got SNS, I mentioned the cracking and the tech suggested to do dip french. The tech suggested pink base to the french. This turned out to be messy, uneven and the base coat looked grainy, and was unexpectedly glittery, which I wouldn't have gotten if I knew. I asked for a thin french tip, which was very thick and the tech tried to fix it by adding a non matching colored regular polish on top, which obviously made it worse. This visit also felt very rushed on behalf of the tech. I think this will not be solved by fixing, since it needs to be completely redone. I scheduled myself a new appointment to get it all removed in a few days. Don't hesitate to come here and try this business out. The staff is accommodating and they offer a wide range of polish colors. Support this local business! Stick to what you know and like. read more

First visit, staff was nice but nail cracked on first night and they kept rescheduling my repair until it was just too late to repair it. I had another nail crack but not chip, too. Second visit, I scheduled for Sunday then they rescheduled me on a work day which meant I had to go after work. The tech rushed through the entire process, didn't carefully do the designs, redid some designs, made it thicker than requested, filed the skin around my nails which caused so much pain I had to tell her to stop, didn't push back my cuticles and didn't give my nails enough time to dry. My index nails also felt weak at the base from the weight of the tips due to thickness. I was the last customer to come in, I understand it was later in the day but if they couldn't accommodate me I could've gone elsewhere. They were closed the next day so I couldn't get it fixed in time for a holiday and I was forced to get them fixed elsewhere. I would never recommend this place, I got my nails done [gel manicure] on a Saturday and I had to come back the next day [Sunday], because most of them were chipped already. Then on Monday I was starting to have the same problem, but I couldn't go to get them fix since I was working all day. I decided to go on Wednesday, since they are closed on Tuesday. They made me pay extra for each fixed nail, which I didn't know that they charge for cheap gel nail polish. I don't understand how is it fair for me to pay extra for nails that get chipped in less than 3 days twice. I like my nails short & I literally had to continue to remind the tech on a different occasion to file my nails shorter.. it's like she wanted my nails the way she liked hers or something & this time around the tech listened but literally dipped my nails in the SNS dip a handful of times to where the layer was so thin it didn't even last a week before it began chipping. Not to mention the little Spanish chick with blond hair at the front desk was very deceiving.. came off nice initially then when I asked for a specific color it was a problem , too much work to wind a specific color I guess & when I brought up my foot not being cleaned that too was an issue.
