It's just noise. Reminds me of a techno club circa early 2000s. Bartenders (there were two) umm yeah. You can keep them. I could only stand about an hour and a half of this place. I feel sad for the LGBT community here. Saturday night and the best you have to offer is this group of unfriendly people. From the bartenders to the "DJ" upstairs. I ll never go back. No reason to. Just stay home. Seriously. I can see why it's dead on a Saturday night.

Mixed feelings. It IS an important hangout for queer ppl who want to drink, but I wish, for…read moreexample, the monthly Gender Euphoria meetup would allow ppl of ALL ages to attend and that's not possible at a bar. Also, as person hoping to make friends, it just doesn't (IMO) have the best atmosphere for that, partly because it's often pretty noisy. Not very conversation-friendly. In a previous life, I went to an incredibly friendly (straight) bar. No TVs, the occasional live band, but typically quiet, great for chatting. Was more of a hangout than a place to get tipsy. The bar tenders are okay, but they don't interact with customers much. Maybe they are just too busy. In my previous bar, the main bartender loved to chat with customers and that, I think, really helped ppl to open up and chat among themselves. And feel welcome. Yeah, one bar can't do everything. Just wish there was a more sedate hang-out place for queers that was compatible with conversation.

The bartenders were fantastic and the atmosphere there is exactly what I want out of an Irish pub. I wish I'd taken pictures, but I got carried away with having such a good time that we forgot. We also ended up finishing a bottle of Jameson by paying for four shots, and got to sign it! (That's a tradition --- finish a Jameson bottle, sign it, and they put it on the wall). I'm very honored to have my name inside a Springfield institution. My wife used to live in Springfield, and this is one of her favorite spots. So we will definitely be back!

I brought my dog, as he is well behaved. We saw the same corgis at buzz bomb-everyine was chills after a few barks He was just fine at Buzz Bomb, where we came from. There were other dogs at Buzz bomb and of course some barking took place then everyone was friends. NO PROBLEMS!! K? Keep that in your back pocket while reading this. Our family decided to go to JPs. Clyde didnt make a sounds the entire time. Multiple people came up to me saying how good of a boy he was being. He was minding his business. This couple with 2 corgis comes in, same people from buzz bomb, and obviously my dog is interested as is theirs. Their dog barked first*****, so mine barked after, duh. So a bartender came up to us (group of 10-12) and said if my dog barked again, we needed to leave. I asked another bartender why because the other couples dog barked first and his response was "well they come in weekly" ahhhh sooo it's okay since they patron there often and we don't as much. Although, their dog started it everytime?? So I was saying goodbye to my family and ANOTHER bartender came up saying we had to leave and don't come back. TRUST!!! We won't!! AFTER clyde and I left, the bartender told my brother in law that he told us to leave 3x which literally did not happen!! He told me the one time and we left. So please!! Roll the footage on that one I would love to see it. The bartender tried fighting my brother in laws dad after nasty comments were made about my niece.

I had the Steering Wheel and it was one of the best French Dips, I've ever had. Sweet potato fries and the krinkle fries were tasty. While we waited for our food, some of us walked over to the little museum. The owner came over and talked to us a bit and our grandson's liked all the car stuff and memorabilia! They host bands, but we were just there for lunch on a rainy day! I had the chicken salad which was very good and liked the fact it didn't have raw onion like a lot of places have as I can't do raw onion. I asked for it in a wrap instead of the croissant that it normally comes on and they accommodated my request. I went with the home made chips, which were different than most have. They were really good and I shared them with others. Two of our Grandson's had pizza which they liked and another Grandson had the pulled pork nacho's with his Grandpa. Our daughter had the protein bowl which she enjoyed as well. I was sitting at the other end, so not sure what anyone else had. We will be back again!
