It had been…read moreat that location for decades, and had an excellent reputation for being a clock master for old time pieces, capable of raising ancient chronometers from the dead with an inventory of parts not available to modern jewelers. Their collection of grandfather clocks included historic machines that had played a part in the American Revolutionary War. Legend tells us that the very time keeper present in the room where Washington planned his Christmas Eve crossing of the Delaware River leading to the Battle of Trenton, had been repaired several times by this master clocksmith, and resided there for extended periods before the local historic commission was finally formed and took possession of this and many other important irreplaceable objects. A visit to the Half Moon Inn/courthouse a few streets away will grant you an introduction to this very clock, where it continues to keep time to this day. So, the clock shop may be gone, but it's most famous visitor still exists a short walk away on Court Street. If clocks could talk, what tales it would tell!

What kind of respectable store will not allow you to return a defective product? I bought a Diesel watch that didn't keep time which I noticed within a few weeks of my purchase. I brought it back to the store and got a new battery. However this did not fix the problem. I went back to the store for an exchange. They found another watch and had it shipped to the store. I had to return to the store to pick it up. After a few weeks, the same Diesel watch (watch #2) exhibited the same problem. I returned to the store again. However, I wanted to return it. They said NO. They did NOT CARE that it was defective. They DID NOT CARE that I went to their store 5 times in an attempt to fix the problem. Simply, they DO NOT CARE. STAY AWAY if you want to buy a watch or piece of jewelry, especially if it is expensive. Do you want to risk not being able to return an expensive defective product? The manager was unprofessional when I asked her how she would feel if she could not return a defective product (at any type of store), and her response was that I am not a "returner"....give me a break. Any reasonable person would want to return a defective product.
