Unfortunately, this isn't the same barbershop I fell in love with a year ago. Instead of building on what made the shop great, management seems to have changed the atmosphere entirely. What used to feel like a classic neighborhood barbershop now feels more like a Toys "R" Us. Nearly every time I've been in over the past several months, there have been children screaming throughout the shop. If you're looking for a relaxing barbershop experience, that's become increasingly difficult to find here. Customer service from ownership has also been disappointing. On multiple occasions, the owner has walked right past me without so much as a hello, a smile, or any acknowledgment. It's a small gesture that says a lot, and leadership sets the tone for the entire business. The music has also shifted away from the traditional barbershop vibe that many customers come to enjoy. I understand that's a matter of personal taste, but combined with the constant noise and the overall change in atmosphere, it no longer feels like the shop that earned my loyalty. The real heart of this business is its barbers. Luna, Fern, and Ezra are incredibly talented professionals who genuinely care about their clients. They deserve far more credit than ownership for the reputation this shop has built. If they ever decide to cut hair somewhere else, I'll gladly follow them.

But the dude who usually sits by the entrance of the shop consistently demolishes me everytime. I can accept a haircut with flaws but obliterating the shape of the haircut is where I cross the line. He typically sits at the entrance but cuts at one of the chairs on the left/middle side of the shop. Maybe if you get a simple buzz and a fade you'd be okay, but if you do any type of styling to your hair then that's up to you to take the risk. Thankfully I was able to hide the mistakes with product after a few weeks but I'm tired of getting cooked lmaoo and I don't have it in my heart to reject someone but at this point I think I'll start doing it especially if I plan on being outdoors in that same week without wanting to wear a beanie. But if you do get a haircut by the ladies they'll give you a clean cut and be sure to tip them well cause for a $25 fade in 2025? They're doing YOU a favor.
