When you ask a question, they do the minimum possible to check the box. You feel their annoyance; it's palpable. While last shopping there, I overheard a male staff member taking customers' phone calls. Abrasive and curt on every single one ...mental note to never call this store. I like to support local, brick and mortar shops, but when the inventory is lacking and the service is nonexistent-to-rude, what's the point? Beyond that, the physical space is 50% the size needed to support the amount of inventory they have. Perhaps the cramped quarters contribute to the simmering hostility. Overall, just a very unpleasant place to shop. 2 stars for the well curated selection of brands/styles.

2020 Pandemic Review…read more Thank you, DSW, for realizing that not all your customers feel comfortable to step indoors just yet while the pandemic is in full swing (there is currently an estimated over 90,000 active covid cases in our state at this very moment). Thank you for obtaining permission for your customers to pull over into the fire lane to do curbside pick up and returns. Thank you also for extending your return policy. Not ready to hand over the 5th star cause of my general past in-person experience at this location. Although it has now been about a year since I've stepped through your doors, historically, I couldn't help but be aware of how messy your aisles often were. Yes, your customers should have returned the shoes to the appropriate shelves when they were done with checking them out, but unfortunately not everyone plays the part of a responsible adult when out in public. So it would be nice to be able to spot a staffer here or there organizing or restocking sometimes, instead of primarily only being able to locate your workers over by the registers.

When I went to this shop however, the man that owned it was friendly and told me how he is a third generation cobbler and how it would be a simple fix. It was only $5 more than the other cobbler charged me and he completely fixed the original issue as well as the damage the other person had done. He also has a very cool story if you bring in tall heels that let me know right away that it would be good quality that I can't say here to protect privacy online. Could not have had a better experience here!

Now what I will say is that they had a fully stocked skincare/haircare section that had amazing deals and 75% of the stock was name brand products. The purse section was also pretty well stocked though I think you'll find more of a variety at Burlington with better price points. The remainder of the store had similar offerings that the other various Tj Maxx's have in the region just slightly more upscale with no sparse shelves or racks. So overall worth a stop, but slightly lower your expectations if you were specifically coming in for Runway and only Runway.
