We desired a new shelving system to be designed for and installed in a kitchen pantry in our home. Not a large area, but with very complicated dimensions due to its location under an L-shaped staircase. We wanted maximum efficient use of the pantry space. Every aspect of Closet Factory's staff was terrific--professional, skilled, attentive, conscientious, reliable, and respectful. This is not the place to publish names, but I have made all this known to their owners and management. The design professional that initially visited our home listened to our description of what we wanted, made measurements, added their personal touch, created the perfect design on their laptop as we had described, and reviewed costs with us. No delay, no multiple contacts, no hand sketches, no scratch pads, just state-of-the-art professionalism. We had several other firms visit and did our due diligence. Closet Factory's price was competitive. No other firm compared to Closet Factory's obvious professional and technical prowess. We executed our agreement with Closet Factory, a second person visited to verify dimensions, we finalized the design, and the fabrication of our system went into the production queue. The final installation date was even sooner than originally anticipated. The installation crew was timely and neat, and the work was professionally performed. Every aspect of the entire process was performed solely by Closet Factory staff. I spent my career in the construction industry. I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. After getting three quotes we decided to have Closet Factory do our projects. We had a reach in closet and walk in closet designed by Regan and installed by Rafal. We are extremely pleased with the results. Regan listened to what I wanted and her designs were perfect. We also had a wall unit installed by Rafal and Garrett after Tyrell ensured the measurements were correct. My designer was Cam who was absolutely fantastic, I told her what I wanted & she said let me design it, I'm so glad she did because it was better than my thoughts. The following is solely my personal view based on our experience. It is my honest opinion that this company does not deserve people's business, for three reasons: 1. I'm not sure they can be trusted. For example, right as we went to sign the contract, they cancelled the installation date they quoted us and pushed out our prospective installation several weeks -- with absolutely no notice. 2. At times I found it difficult to get quick straight answers from their rep. 3. They refused to confirm a worst-case scenario install date, whereby they would refund our money if they didn't meet this reasonable deadline. They said they wouldn't provide any such assurances in writing, which we found sketchy. Theoretically, they could push out the installation indefinitely and our money would be trapped with them with little practical recourse. I questioned their manager Simon about this. He said installation dates can be pushed out, and provided me no satisfactory answer as to why they wouldn't provide assurance *in writing* that the installation would be done in a reasonable time. There are so many other closet companies that are reputable and professional. I would advise people not to choose this one. read more

Then kept saying as complex as our job is that is why they can't squeeze me in as they have NO electrician to do the job even though on our end it was done immediately to accommodate them! They are the slowest company I have delt with and I have remodeled 8 homes in 3 years! Owner called to see why I was mad after letting them know I would be available and in town for TWO weeks for install and they still could not accommodate me! I did a lot of research for a company to help with my master closet and laundry room before landing on Closet Factory. I was so glad I did! Starting with my salesperson Sierra, to the scheduling person, Lacey and the lead installer, Jan, I couldn't be more happy. The experience was great from the start. Sierra listened to me and did a great job making sure I not only got what I wanted, but made other suggestions for things which made the overall aesthetic beautiful (like laundry cabinets- I don't have baskets in my closet anymore!!), all without breaking the bank. She did the same for my laundry room. The biggest thing is I'm in a condo and I now have SO much more usable space. Once Sierra finished her piece, the process moved quickly from there. My installer, Jan, had input into the design review. Very common sense- the person installing knows how it will best fit. Lacey, the scheduler and coordinator, worked with me every step of the way regarding timing and rescheduling when we had an unfortunate incident in our building, causing a delay to the install. We just had two closets installed a year ago. We just got hit again by the latest Hurricane Milton. When I called to get them redone I was taken back by how rude I was treated because I did not write a review. When do you have to write review after spending Thousands of dollars. I think it's bad that you have also to take them handles for your drawers if you don't want their cheap handles They want to charge me more money than I paid last year. So I called the company that I have bought from before. They could not have treated me better. They are giving flood victims an extra discount. FINALLY got the closets and linen space installed for both homes. I'm not exactly sure what happened with Amy- you were outstanding for our initial contact and influenced our decision to go with your company. Sadly- it's been downhill ever since! The closets were not installed properly in one home leaving a large gap at the top with excuses. Then my closets required three visits to get it close to right! A lot of money to be spoken to with no respect from Leigh too. She needs help with how she speaks to people! I also paid for these closets almost a year ago and got put on a waiting list for installation that worse than a moving target no follow up, and worst is that I had to grout these cabinets myself! I picked a beautiful shade of blue for this project. Next thing I knew my picture/dream came to life! it truly is a show stopper! it is in our office which has a glass door and 2 glass walls on either side of the door- right off of our foyer! its a beautiful piece of furniture! the process was easy and the staff from the sales/designer to the installers could not have been any more helpful- courteous- neat and accommodating! we also had 2 master closest done and next we are having 2 more bedroom closets done along with hall closet and 3 car garage. 3 minutes ago We bought a house in Babcock Ranch and wanted custom closets so we called both Closet By Design and Closet Factory. We called Closet Factory at 8:30am and Shirley Castophney came at 4:30pm same day. Closet By Design was designing on paper and had no samples. He drew some chicken scrape on the paper but he seem so nervous and uncomfortable so I was uncomfortable using that company. Shirley Castophney explained in detail the material they would use to build our closets. She had samples of the colors and the material. She used a computer program to design our closets and was able to show us what it would look like before we signed the contract. She really listened to our concerns and wants and now we have 6 closets that are exactly what we designed and contracted. Closet Factory sent a great installer and designer and I would recommend you work with them. Whenever we called them they always respond quickly. The only complaint is that I didnt visit the showroom before we contracted but that might be better because we would have spent more mo ey. read more

Our salesperson Heather was as enthusiastic about her company as her product. She was prompt in returning calls/emails. Heather strived to make our expectations a reality. She measured our closet's short- and long-hung clothes, shoes, and boxed shoes and drew up a design. I remeasured my clothing with her plans and proceeded to schedule an installation. Closet Factory uses solid hanging bars and shelving which I believe will not chip over time. Other accessories personalize the space for every customer such as gliding belt racks, scarf glides, or cubbies for purses and makeup. Over a year ago I went through a nightmare with the PREVIOUS owner of the Closet Factory, finally accepting some poor workmanship but a couple of weeks ago the NEW owner of the company contacted me wanting to know if he could do anything to rectify the issues. I explained to him what was left to remedy the problem & Joseph Edison (owner) & one of his installers came out to better understand the problem. Within a week they corrected the remaining problem I had with my pantry. I can't begin to tell you how professional they did in comparison to what was done before. The amazing thing is that they didn't have to do this extra work - I wasn't suing, basically had given up on getting the job done properly but they wanted to make things right. Granted, it cost us $13,000 but it was worth every penny, like a closet out of a magazine. We scheduled three companies for a in home consultation and got quotes from all three. Both the Closet Factory and the "Big and Famous" Closet company had thorough and professional consultants that assessed our needs and customized our closet. Both companies had beautiful showrooms to design and make your selections. Both companies provided good designs but Closet Factory gave us everything we wanted and edged out the other company in the design; including seamless wrap around shelves. The process was top end from start to finish. From our in house design to finalizing the design and selection in the showroom to a very professional and courteous installation. We also liked the fact that Closet Factory manufactures everything on site in Fort Myers. The lifetime warranty, transferable to a new owner was also nice.
