We aren't from Ft. Myers but winter here. After 5 years we found the right condo and bought but wanted to make some changes. We wanted large rugs but wanted the feel of carpet. These guys are absolutely outstanding! I went through this process in my other new construction home in Naples 2 years ago. For that house, I used a "Prominent" Naples flooring company that was terrible! After that experience, I did my homework and after seeing Floorz 5 star reviews, those reviews are spot on! Vicki was in constant communication for timing. Her crew is the best I have ever worked with. We ordered carpet for three bedrooms. It was $2,800 paid half when the order was put in and the other half when the carpet was laid. Outside of the normal dings in the walls and trim that needed repaired and repainted, the laying of the carpet went fine. Unfortunately, the job wasn't finished. We were laying tile in the main floor. Vicky stated they would come back and tuck the carpet when we were done with the tile. We have been attempting to contact her for weeks to get someone over to finish the job. I even spoke to another associate at Floorz when Vicky was gone about this. Vicky continued to "forget" as she stated in her text. Yesterday, someone showed up unannounced and tried to complete the work while no one was home. He was taking pictures of our home and walking around the property. After countless times attempting to check with Vicky to schedule someone to complete the job, showing up unannounced is clearly unprofessional. My daughter was texting me from work watching the cameras worried. We even had neighbors calling because it was so strange! We will not do business with Floorz again and do not recommend them as they obviously do not care to complete the jobs they have begun appropriately AFTER we have paid in FULL months ago. read more

I went to several places in town to find the carpeting that I wanted for our home. Floorz had a great selection, and I found exactly what I wanted. Jack helped me and was very nice. Due to the hurricane, my initial install date was moved, and understandably so. I had to move the install date to 10.15.22 which was a Saturday . When I told Jack that, he was fine. I called him 2 days before the install to confirm that my hallway would be carpeted as well. (I was considering LVT for the hallway and living room). He told me that had plenty He added that he always over orders, so there was nothing to worry about. Aaron and Justin (installers) were borh professional and courteous, and did a great job with the exception of a visible seam that I could not vaccuum out. Well, they ran out of carpet and left half of my hallway with no carpet. So much for over ordering. Jack left me a voicemail last evening. I called back and he said installers would be back today. I called Jack and told him that since all of this happened and talking it over with my husband that we thought he should make an adjustment on the bill for the inconvenience. Jack asked me how much of an adjustment. I said 10% which I think is fair. He told me that he would do it just so that he "doesn't have to mess with it anymore", and went on to tell me that a Saturday install was inconvenient for them. He had already told me that they were doing 2 bedrooms not far from me, so how is that an inconvenience? He asked how long the installers were there, and when I told him about an hour, he made a snarky remark about the amount of time they were here being such an imconvenience, and referenced the amount adjusted. Their product is beautiful, the installers professional, but Jack???? Just a bit of a baby. From my understanding he is the owner. Initially went to Floorz looking for area rug. Vicky worked with us and was very personable and offered some great options and pricing. We decided to get two area rugs, which needed to be sent out to have binding. Unfortunately there was a "glitch/misunderstanding" by the binder and rugs came in different than we ordered. Jack Wise, owner, was there and he immediately reordered another piece of carpet and put a rush on having binding done correctly. GREAT SERVICE. Be careful of the installer they assign to your job. We had cortex installed in 2021 by Dave and he did a wonderful job. We had the same floor put in after Ian by contractor they assigned did very poor job. Be very careful when doing business with them you can buy quality flooring and wind up with a crap job. read more

Would not recommend, had a very unpleasant experience with sales person. Salesperson was very unresponsive to phone calls and emails. I had to keep calling them, and when I did get to speak with him he was extremely condescending and rude when speaking to me. basically stated didn't want my business. We seldom do reviews but in this case we want to sing the praises of Vicki and Floorz as very satisfied customers. Two years ago we contracted with Floorz to install 800 square feet of vinyl plank flooring. Last spring we noticed that in one area the planks were cupping and snapping when stepped on. We left for the summer and when we returned the problem had worsening and in early October we contacted Vicki and asked for someone to come to see what could be done The installer came to inspect the flooring, took a sample of the plank and said he would look into the matter further. A short while later, Vicki informed us that the report had come back indicating the product seemed to be faulty and that JMP Flooring would come out to replace nearly half the material. Once on site the lead installer informed us that the entire floor would have to be replaced that day. So two years almost to the day we received a new floor. These days one doesn't necessarily expect the level of service that we received from this company. Honesty, integrity, superlative service are just some of the words that come to mind. Unfortunately, not allowed enough space to explain our nightmare with Vicki- owner and her incompetent contractor. Laminate over tile is apparently not a good idea. The contractor had visited our home for an evaluation which led to the price which we agreed on. Apparently, there was more work/materials needed than he thought, so he asked for more money in the middle of the job which we ended up not paying. If our floors were so out of level, the contractor should have pointed that out when evaluating, and we should have been informed there would be problems or additional cost. Bait and switch?? After paying over $15k, we have squeaking, cracking, & dips in our flooring. I have no paid reciept or lien waiver which I requested from Vicki. When asked if she ever used this contractor, she defended them and had the nerve to say "They are excellent" yet had to have her top installer come out to try to repair the horrible work they did and after 2 days of his frustration in trying to repair, said that was the best he could do and it was not initially installed properly. He said this type of flooring is not good in FL with the humidity and there should have been transition breaks as our home has a very long open span. Very poor quality of work, plus something was stolen from our garage that we believe they took. We were trying to be respectful and stayed in our back yard, out of their way- big mistake. I have texted Vicki directly to ask for all copies of reciepts/lien waivers and requested a refund for the poor labor and she has ignored my requests. read more
