Trang was amazing and so quick! I was a March 2023 bride and I ordered a total of 4 wedding dresses. Some for reception but 2 were for the ceremony. My last one came in the Monday of my wedding (not kidding). I was frantically searching for someone to alter my dress as I got quoted for $900 from a bridal boutique for normal alterations + rushed order bc it would've had to be done in 2-3 days to allow for fittings. I kindly told the lady I'll see if I can take it elsewhere. I remembered Trang worked on my husbands suit in the past so I called her and asked if she had experience with wedding dresses, she said yes. I had no choice but to put all my faith in her. In just one day, she had completed 95% of the dress. Enough to do a last fitting before the final touches. On the day of pickup, it was absolutely perfect! She charged me $240 for a rushed order and I cannot be more grateful. Thank you Trang to your speedy and articulate work. The work she did: took in the waist and the sleeves! The sleeves were just as important. At first it looked like I was wearing a baggy dress (since the waist was also big). She took in the sleeves that the mesh material blended in with my skin and looked flawless. Another major alteration was that she trimmed and hand sewed my neckline to bring it closer to my chest. The dress neckline (the mesh) part was so high it definitely looked mass produced. She transformed the dress into a bespoke, made just for me wedding dress. I felt and looked amazing! This is my second time coming here. First time I had brought in my pants to get hemmed and she did a wonderful job. Just the other day I came to drop off my top and pants to get hemmed. I asked if she can have it ready tomorrow, to which she replied yes. I said "great, awesome" and took off . The next day I called to see if it was ready and she said yes. I went over there and picked up my clothes. I get into the car and decided to check and I noticed that my tank top strap thread was loose. So I inspected it a little bit more, and realized that the threads were coming loose and undone. I got out of my car right away to tell her and show her that it's coming undone and she had the nerve to pat me on my shoulder and tell me "it's OK" and that it is handsewn and everything will be all right and show me towards the door. Trang's responsiveness is great, she was quite nice, it's a family business which is fantastic to support, and you know she is super legit just by seeing the machines inside that have gone through decades of use. However, the actual alterations were not done too well. We needed a dress hemmed and a suit darted -- both had mistakes in it. The dress was not hemmed enough and was still dragging on the floor. It also had loose threads sticking out. The suit darting looked fine at first, but I discovered later that one of the threads was sewn through the suit jacket, so it was completely visible from the outside. The price we were quoted for was also more expensive than the other prices listed here, we were charged $50 for the hem and $50 for the dart. read more

After moving to this area, I needed to find a tailor that could make actual alterations above and beyond hemming pants that are too long. After seeing Trang's excellent reviews, I gave her a try and was pleasantly surprised. By way of a little background, I ordered a custom blazer and, when it got here, the sleeves were way WAY too short. First of all - the address is in a residential neighborhood, so, do not be surprised when you pull up and it is just a house. There is a doorbell outside the security door and Trang was quick to answer. The front family room in her home has been turned into an alterations studio, complete with private changing area. That room is completely separate from any other rooms, so, it was not at all awkward. When I got the jacket back, Trang had let out all the fabric in the sleeves and even added some to the lining to get some extra length. They are still shorter than I would like, but, she did an absolutely amazing job with what she had to work with and had she not worked on this - it would not be possible to even wear. Now, I can at least get some use out of the jacket. My only issue was that she had the jacket for two weeks. When I called her back, it took several different ways for me to jog her memory about who I was and what project I was calling about. I provided my number to her when I left my coat, so, I was a little surprised she had not called sooner. She absolutely DID have the jacket, had it done already, and did an excellent job with it, but, I was a little worried when she did not call or remember me when I called. I needed the length of an evening gown altered, and my friend gave me Trang's information. She works from her house, and there is a fully private changing station with full-length mirrors. It seems she gets a lot of business because when we arrived, people were leaving, and when we we're headed out, someone else was coming in for alterations. I can see why she has so much business.
